I have had chinch bug problem in my lawn since last year which was destroying our front lawn. I was…read moremisdiagnosing the problem (thinking it was brown patch) all along and nothing seemed to work. Finally, I gave up and called Lawn doctor. Don (the owner) came to look over the lawn and he immediately found out the problem. He patiently explained to me the problem, showing the problem bug and even suggesting a solution. I was pleasantly surprised by his demeanor (very professional, not pushy) and decided to go with him for the application. Based on Don's suggestion, I could have been a prick and done the treatment myself from store purchased insecticides (I couldn't do it!). Don gave me a quote for two applications. I felt the quote was reasonable and justified. After the first application, the crew came to check the results. After checking the grass, (on the scheduled day of second application), I got a call that a second application was not necessary and therefore they hadn't applied it (and of course I wasn't charged for the second application). The company could have easily applied the second application and charged me for the same, and I would have probably paid for it without questioning. But the company didn't do it. It stuck to their morals. I personally felt very happy that such honest and trustworthy companies still exist even today. Now I know who to consult for all of my future lawn care needs and I would strongly recommend and endorse them for anyone looking for a lawn care company. (Note that I don't usually write out online reviews for companies, I only do so when I really feel touched by a companies gesture)

I would STRONGLY caution anyone considering this company…read more My 83-year-old grandmother (who has macular degeneration disease causing her to lose her eyesight and she is almost blind) switched to a different lawn care provider this year to save money. Despite that, Green T services showed up, saw the sign in the lawn for the other company, REMOVED the new company's sign from her yard, and re-treated her lawn without permission. Then they handed her a $90 bill for the service. They are now attempting to charge her $90 for a service she did NOT request, claiming there is a clause that automatically renews service unless you call again to cancel. When my mother spoke with two managers about this, they dismissed the situation and even accused her of "pulling the elderly card," while insisting my grandmother is still required to pay. That response was not only unprofessional, but incredibly insensitive given the circumstances. Jeff at Green T services claimed they will "turn her over to collections" for a $90 charge SHE DID NOT GIVE PERMISSION TO DO. They are saying they have sent her 3 emails and 2 letters and said since she "failed" to read it, she is at fault although SHE CANNOT READ! The worker at Green T did not come to the door before asking for the service they PULLED OUT THE OTHER COMPANYS SIGN, RESPRAYED HER LAWN, and now are still insisting she pay. RIDICULOUS and absolutely terrible customer service. Removing another company's sign, performing unauthorized service, and then speaking to customers this way is unacceptable. This feels deceptive and predatory--especially toward an elderly, visually impaired customer with a limited income. If you're considering using this company, read every detail of your contract and document everything. We will absolutely be disputing this charge. Jeff and the Director at Green T services are EXTREMELY unprofessional. Very disappointing and concerning experience we DO NOT RECOMMEND this service company to anyone who doesn't want to get scammed and spoken to with disrespect. My previous lawn care company relocated and we were two weeks without mowing services and grass was LONG. Julio's brother Modesto was out within 45 mins and we spoke about other landscaping projects I was considering. He said they'd take care of the lawn that afternoon and provide a quote on weeding/trimming. I received the quote for additional projects same day as well. Julio's not only came out for quote within 45 mins but also completed the mowing and entire weeding/trimming (very large lawn with lots of areas requiring attention) that afternoon. The quality of work is outstanding. The pricing is reasonable for the scope of work completed. I can't recommend this company highly enough. Extremely fast communication and in our case rapid same day completion of a nearly 4 hour project with multiple people working. Julio's is an outstanding small business and so happy to have found them. Have Julio's coming back today to apply pre-emergent and mulch project.
