We didn't really know what to do at the start because there weren't any instructions of how to purchase a ticket. Apparently you can just put your card to the turnstile and it will credit you for a ride and open the gate. Ignore others jumping the gate. It's not right and others we talked to said eventually people get caught jumping the gate or drafting people through.

Outside taxi and bus stand, though the taxi driver wanted a minimum in charge and would only take cash if it was only $15-20 for the ride to the hotel. Amtrak, buses, subway stop, and regional rail here (MBTA). The building wraps around the corner and doesn't connect to the business tower behind - interesting design, though. They did allow you to board about 10-15 min early.

It's right by Suffolk University, and the State House. It's where you can cross from the Blue to the Orange lines though that was a little confusing for me. I recommend that you look at a real map before you come here, Google Maps Walking won't work well downtown but especially not in the underground part of the station.

Trains arrive fast and I could have gotten the hang of them better longer I stayed. It makes it easy to get around town and Park st was a stop we used a lot for visiting or changing to other lines.

They do not comfort me. Woe unto you, ye souls depraved! Its location is not inconvenient. A hop and a skip and a jump from: - the Tremont Street Burger King, - the Granary Burying Ground, - the Boston Common Frog Pond, - the AMC Boston Common 19, - the Washington Street Marshalls, - the Suffolk Dental Group, - the Robert Gould Shaw and the 54th Regiment Memorial. A true horror it would be to find oneself trapped in the Park Street T station. You step off the last train and the doors are already locked. Overnight parking (up to 10 nights!) is permitted. The station is fully handicapped accessible from the parking garage area. There are audible and visual displays of the next trains in both directions. The ticketing lobby has a number of kiosks for purchasing a ticket or adding value to your CharlieCard. There is a small Dunkin Donuts kiosk just outside the ticketing area. The station is between Assembly (inbound, towards Forest Hills) and Malden Center (outbound towards Oak Grove).

There are a few employers right nearby so it makes it easy for the commuters to get out of the city. In to Boston, this a "flag" stop. You need to be sure that the train driver can see you because if he can't, the train just sails on past. There are no automated ticketing machines here and the station is almost completely exposed to the elements. There is also no platform on the other side - the one side of the station serves both inbound and outbound passengers. There is not much nearby here at all and there is no MBTA parking. It is in "Zone 1A", the cheapest of the commuter rail zones.
