They agreed to refund my money, and I'm waiting to receive it so I can cease interactions with this business. I received the first part of what I needed and paid for ($75), but then emails and calls went unanswered/ignored after I paid the other portion. Services were not rendered for that $175 payment. I'm very disappointed with the lack of response and unprofessionalism, especially as a veteran reaching out for help with a sensitive situation. Update: Now the company is not only posting erroneous personal case information, but replied back not trying to refund my money when they told the BBB they would. This is just bad business. I left a voice mail asking for the refund and filed the BBB case after they ignored it. Magically I received a response to that complaint. Attached below is their response to the BBB that I agreed to and closed the case. This whole interaction continues to worsen, and the owner's response to my Yelp review is disrespectful and appalling. "At no time did the client contact us to request a refund. However, in the interest of goodwill, we are happy to return the $175.00 that she states was paid on March 18, 2025. We take pride in the services we offer and do our best to help every client within the scope of what is realistic and ethical for a licensed investigative agency. The thing about this company that ALL people should be aware of is their motive to CHARGE YOU MONEY…read morethey don't tell you about. For example: the first time I used their services I was told about one price (what I will be charged for process of service), of which I told them that, "I don't need this 'rushed' or nothing like that." They still served the papers and charged me the regular amount plus the rush fee. I let that slick business move slide thinking that this business cant possibly be that bad after reading all of these "good reviews" but to be sure I'm going to set up a test. Little did they know I played dumb the entire process to see how they really operate and I am telling you that if your a common person looking to have paper work served on people this company will take advantage of you. So, I already had inside information on the person I wanted served right but wanted to employed Torri for a second time to see if they'd follow the rules of service. Second time I employed them I made it very specific that there was a dead line to meet and if you don't make that dead line I don't want your services. Guess what happened? Not only did they miss the dead line and I had to hire another company to do the work in another state but weeks later they still charged me full price for work that they did not even do! They didn't even call me to tell me that they didn't make service or meet the dead line. There was no communication from them even after they randomly charged me for without my authorization. Now I could file an action against them but its not worth the time or money I'd spend bringing the action so I called them demanding my money back b/c for one I didn't give them my credit card information a second time, or authorize a payment and they lied about keeping a record of my bank info. Torri tried to give me some sob story about how hard her people work to serve some papers, even after I told her that the place she's sending her guys to is actually an attorney's house who specifically said to her servers that the person they are looking for is not a resident or lived there! IT WAS AN OPERATIONAL STING to see if this business is legitimate and I am here to tell you they ARE NOT. You will be over charged. They will hold onto your personal information and require you to give them your bank information. You will be charged without authorizing any payment. If you use them once they retain your credit / debit card information also. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! THIS IS YOUR WARNING.

On both occasions, I needed to serve a witness in Harford County, MD. Each time, I promptly emailed the documents and paid for the services. It was very important that we have her served with all of the papers. However, a few weeks later, while at the deposition, the witness stated that she did not receive some of the documents. Moreover, she pulled out the papers in front of everyone, including opposing counsel and sure enough, they did not include all of the papers I emailed to RCI. And the papers she had received were printed double sided. This was highly embarrassing. Because she did not receive the papers, we have to now fight the matter in court. Last week, I sent an email to those in my contacts asking them to register to vote before the deadline, and inadvertently sent an email to RCI. I was appalled by RCI's response; it was extremely offensive, grossly profane, biased and disrespectful to the point that I cannot repeat what he said (of the hundreds of contacts, RCI was the only one to respond-see attachment): You definitely get what you pay for here. Use a professional and more reputable process server. I regret ever using RCI due to their errors and blatant callousness. I immediately removed their email, tossed their promo materials. They do not deserve the business of my colleagues, my clients or myself and I will never use their services again.
