Their doughnuts are great, and baked in house right away. This means that if you're waiting for something at opening, you may have to wait a few extra minutes. For examples, their dipped donut holes were the last thing to come out when I was there. And, their dipped doughnut holes are the way to go, if you want a box with a variety of flavours. You could eat one of their four dollar doughnuts, and if you do - have the strawberry cream - but each of them is the size of two or three doughnuts from any other place. This isn't a four dollar doughnut that leaves you feeling empty, it's a four dollar doughnut that leaves you wondering how you're possibly going to finish eating it! But, the doughnut holes, the dipped ones, they're amazing. They're the right size to eat a variety, and not feel overfull. The thing that terrifies me is they have so many savory options, too. How am I supposed to eat everything I want? I'll need to make a number of return trips. And, they're dairy free. Which is great for allergies, and lifestyle choices. Love it. Love it. Love it!

The unit is also in a strange industrial area and the seating area definitely give what's expected at the price point they're charging. Maybe fix the place up, and work on customer service if you're going to overcharge

Bitter and nasty. Also it seems the staff doesn't even know what's on their own menu. Wife tried to order wedges / fries and they didn't know what that was. Also wife tried to get a drink with alternative milk and they claim they don't do that (on a subsequent visit they have alt milks listed on their menu).

The person at the counter (Chiara) was great and very helpful. She said the person on the sandwich bar would make it for me. That staff person totally ignored it and went on to make food for everyone that came after me. I asked for my money back and was told that I would need the physical card to get a refund for my food (I kept the coffee). I didn't have the physical card as I had paid with the scan and pay option. Eventually a man named Mark came over and tried to help. He was very pleasant and did his best. I told him that I just wanted a refund and couldn't wait as I had to get back to work. Mark explained again about the card, so I said that I'd just take new food and go. Mark said that was fine, and they'd make it a priority so I didn't have to wait. I was good with this. Then a staff comes over and says it's going to be 9 minutes for wedges. Mark offered my hash browns, but I was so frustrated at this point that I just left. No refund, no food - and still late getting back to work. Mark and Chiara did their best. The sandwich bar person should be fired. Horrible customer service. I won't be going back to this Tim Hortons. Not worth the aggravation.

We went last weekend, it was a lot of people and kids there. This is a huge farm that lots of…read morevarieties to pick. Now it's a good time to pick strawberries, raspberry, blueberries, peas, and corns. There are wagons to take ppl from one field to another. We got off at the strawberry field, but we don't really into the strawberry, so just took a look; then we got to the raspberry field, they looked good, but we barely eat raspberry; then we went to the Blueberry field, our destination was here. We saw another side of the field was having big blueberries, but they didn't open that side to us. And they said it was noon already, most of the big ones had been picked. I tasted a few, they were sort of big, but soured. We moved to other sides, but still the same. When we went home, most of them we made smoothies with honey. We also went to the peas field, not too many people. The peas were so sweet that we could eat them raw. But we went home to boil them with the skin, the skin was hard to eat, it was not snow peas, and too expensive when weighed with the skin. Good experience for the kids. They were happy.

What was once a special local farm and family tradition now feels increasingly commercialized. We were charged $7 per person just to enter and take our annual photo by the growth chart, even though we weren't using the playground. We have been taking photos of our kids at the growth chart for over 15 years. The market was also significantly overpriced: the same Niagara peaches that sold for about $7 at grocery stores were $16, and corn was $1.25 per ear compared with 24 cents at a local grocery store. The frozen yogurt, once made with fresh fruit from the farm and real yogurt is now a frozen premix product loaded with sugar and tastes horrible. The issue isn't simply higher prices, it's paying more for lower quality and a less authentic experience. After 16 years of returning, our family will no longer be among those customers. If these changes continue, Barrie Hill Farm risks losing many of the loyal families who helped support it for years.
