Staff are very patient and friendly -- there were the 2 owners and 2 other staff. So all the customers were well taken care of. The restaurant was packed. It's small only a few tables. My friend and I grabbed a seat at the high top table. Their menu was larger than expected for a cafe! Quite a lot of options for sandwiches. We both tried the Breakfast Sandwich -- it's a croissant panini-grilled with 2 poached eggs, cheese, hash brown and choice of bacon or sausage. It was satisfying without being too greasy or oily. I had a regular drip coffee with cream. It was ok! They do have a small coffee menu. Not alternative dairy. Lastly, we tried the Borsch soup! When we learned the owners were Polish, we knew that we had to try the Polish items on the menu. The Borscht was light and fragrant. Loved it so much, we bought a container from their to-go fridge! Will definitely return to try the pirogies and other items too.

It took about 15 minutes for the donuts to be ready, which is fine since they were cooked fresh but still, if the wait is going to be that long, a heads up might not be a bad thing. Anyway, they're good donuts. I wouldn't say they necessarily remind me much of churros, they're probably too dense and cakey for that to happen, but they're very tasty regardless. The Dulce de Leche-filled donut is especially decadent and delicious. I wish the ambiance and service had been better but I don't really have any complaints as far as the donuts go.

This is easily the worst Tim Hortons in the entire chain and that's saying a lot these days. Last…read morenight, for example, I couldn't understand why the drive thru line was slower than usual. As it turns out, their system was down and they had no ability to take payments any way other than cash. That is only part of this where I have sympathy - not their fault that the POS system was down. HOWEVER, they didn't tell us this until after we ordered. After 20 minutes of captively waiting in line, we get to the window only for them to repeat the incorrect order. I counted enough change to pay for the order - so I solved that issue but then once I corrected the order, they tell me they don't have what I ordered (even though I originally put that order in 15 minutes before). AVOID THIS TIM HORTONS. They also don't care about cleanliness and an orderly looking store. Someone smashed the drive thru sign three months ago and it's still sitting there, lights on, crooked, like a symbol reminding people to take their business elsewhere. You have options - take the option. This place is terrible.
