I sell them do reviews of fast food restaurant unless it's a terrible experience…read more The first time I've been at a Raising Cane's and I will say I was pleasantly surprised. Good quality chicken. 'The Box' which their smallest combo meal for $12.50 including tax is enough for two people certainly. The fries were good. The coleslaw was good as well. I will certainly be back here.

It was always busy every time I stopped in. With my new kidney, I wanted to be cautious with the amount of people I'm around. Now that Raising Canes has been open for a hot minute, I felt like the crowd to be a lot smaller and safer for me to be inside the dining area. Greg helped us today at the register. He was really patient with us since it was my husband's first time eating there. I snagged the 3 piece naked combo and my husband got the chicken sandwich. He is a cheese lover so he was bummed that he couldn't add cheese to his sandwich but he still had high hopes that it will be good. My husband's meal did come out first. For some reason they dropped the ball on my meal. There were quite a few people that got their meals ahead of me that ordered after us. I wasn't sweating it but I knew Greg was on top of it. As soon as my food was ready, Greg hand delivered my meal which was nice since they usually call you up to grab your food. It was nice that Greg made sure we were aware that he didn't forget about me. What I noticed last time I ate at RC was how small the tenders were when you ordered them naked. I only got the tenders last time and at 2 bucks a tender, I really felt like I was being ripped off. Today I got the 3 piece naked but was given 4 pieces of chicken. Honestly, I don't know if I got the extra piece of chicken for them dropping the ball or because the chicken tenders were small. I guess the next time we come in, that will answer my million dollar question. While we were eating, Greg dropped off another sandwich meal for us to take home. He wanted to make sure that our experience was good since it was my husband's first meal there. I appreciate that Greg went above and beyond to make sure we left happy. The customer service Greg gave us today was fantastic! Only if all customer service can be like Greg's. I know a lot of businesses would prosper! I enjoyed the vibe of RC. The dico balls, the music and the chill atmosphere of the joint. It was fun experiencing all of that with my husband. My chicken was tender. The fries were crispy and salty. I got to see what the hype was all about with the bread and Canes sauce. I'm happy I waited to eat inside so I can actually get the whole experience. I look forward to coming back and having more naked tendies.

I have been craving some good fried chicken and thought what the heck, it looks good. I got a spread...like enough for two people and no matter how long and hard I was on that damn pelaton I still couldn't burn it all off. Any way, I tried the six piece chicken fingers in original spicy, a chicken snacker, mac and cheese, and crispy yuzu potatoes for my sides. First the good news, i really enjoyed the chicken snacker. It's on a Hawaian style slider bun and the kewpie mayo is fantastic. It's probably what I would recommend to anyone ordering from here. The crispy yuzu potatoes were my favorite side and also really satisfying with a uniquely great flavor profile. Where it fell short for me was actually where I thought it's strength would be, the frikin chicken. The breading had very little flavor and the chicken was a bit dry. I did get the fingers so I would recommend going for the bone in pieces. All and all I didn't love it... and frankly I hardly liked it. It was fast food fair (with less flavor) at crave level prices. I order from crave fairly often and expect top level cheat worthy menu items worth the premium price tag. The only thing that delivered was the snacker. I suggest you give it a shot but don't go in expecting Tony G level greatness. Get in there, order local fair and eat up Boise.

I was really excited when I read that Michael Mina, who has a Michelin-starred restaurant in San…read moreFrancisco, was opening a Meridian ghost kitchen operation through Crave. I may have been the first person to order on the day Tokyo Hot Chicken opened, Nov. 16. I ordered four pieces of chicken and the crunchy Yuzu potatoes. I was greatly disappointed with the chicken. Mina told the Los Angeles Times that his chicken would rate a 6 or 7 out of 10 for heat. My pieces were barely a 2. And there was no seasoning, so the chicken was juicy but bland. The potatoes, on the other hand, were really good. Fast forward nearly a month and I tried them again. This time they offered an "inferno" heat setting, so of course I dialed that in. And boy, did it pack the heat. It was much more satisfying. But it still could have used some salt or other seasoning to perk up the flavor. Again, the potatoes were wonderful. So it appears that in the month they've been operating Tokyo Hot Chicken has tweaked their operation. One thing that I am still disappointed in was that after my first experience, I wrote to Tokyo Hot Chicken in San Diego through a private Facebook message (there was no contact information for the company on its website.) I also sent an email to Chef Mina's restaurant group. I didn't get a response back from either contact. They're apparently not very good at customer service. The Crave delivery drivers have been pleasant and professional.

My mom wanted a burger, specifically a Guacamole Bacon Burger and fries, and we were in the neighborhood, having just left Rave. We went through the drive-thru and placed the order. We were shocked at the total, which came to nearly $17.00, but understood that in this economy and with grocery prices, it was what it was. We arrived at the window and waited, and waited, and waited. I knew that they cooked everything to order, but it felt like an eternity had passed since paying. Finally, the order was ready and we went home. Not only was I disappointed with the burger, but I was upset that what we paid for and the time we spent did not equal what we received. The amount of Guacamole was like a spread, and there was no deft to that burger. For the amount that we paid, that burger should have been loaded. My mom made the most appropriate comment, " Honey, Somebody shrunk my burger!" We won't be back, but at least I have my memories of a time long ago, in which Main Street made delicious burgers made with love and care and stacked with all the fixings just like in my pictures.

Sometimes it can get busy at lunch and there are only so many tables to be had. The menu is short, but they have been delivering great burgers for a long time. Stopped in today and split a burger with the main squeeze. We had the Five Alarm burger. The burgers are 1/3lb and the meat had great flavor. No real heat for us, but some could find it spicy. Pickled jalapenos are hit and miss for heat anyway. Toasted bun and a good amount of toppings on the burger. The onion rings were tasty and fried perfectly. Buying a soda gets you one refill. Plenty of food for two seniors, I think.
