Usually once or twice a year, I make the drive out to the outlet's just in case something new and exciting may have happened. And sadly I have yet to be surprised and instead am disappointed to find fewer and fewer stores open. Honestly, at this point I don't even understand how the businesses that are there can generate enough traffic to stay open. I have been to several outlet malls in California, with lots of great stores to chose from. It was actually a fun Saturday activity that could take a good part of the day to complete. So I am really just dumbfounded as to why such an opportunity sits 90% vacant. Location perhaps? Maybe....I do personally find the location to be a bit out of the way. No advertising? I have never seen any. But who could afford to advertise a mall with only a hand full of vendors? Most people who visit, stumble upon it by accident while driving out to Lucky Peak. I truly do hope that someone finds a way to revive, what I think could be an awesome place to shop.

Matt initially guided me part of the way, but after I made a detour, he went above and beyond by coming back to find me and give clear, complete directions to exactly where I needed to go then walked me over there. That level of follow-through and customer care really stood out. It's rare to see someone take that extra step, and I truly appreciated his effort. Costco has a good warranty policy and I like Michelin tires that they sell. The tire department at this location has broken 3 lug nuts in two tire rotations. I talked to the manager of the tire department to let him know of my concerns and asked him what's going on in his department. He gave me the excuse that my car maker has problems with lugs breaking. I explained to him that I have had the old tires rotated for 65,000 miles on a regular basis at the dealership and never had a problem with lug nuts being broken. I told the manager that this is a poor excuse coming from a manger of a department and try a different excuse. He finally admitted that he has a lot of new people in his department and is trying to train them as fast as he can. Next I went to second manager in charge of this store due to the head manager being too busy to talk to me as a concerned customer. I explained to the second in charge manager my concerns and disappointment with the lack of leadership in the tire department and what had happened to me with the broken lugs. I also explained that his current manager in the tire shop is the wrong person to lead that department! I also explained to him the amount of time it has wasted me having to take my car to the dealership every time to get the broken lugs fixed. Also that I have no confidence in having my tires rotated at this location anymore! He did say he was sorry for the inconvenience from this issue and they are looking into adding another manager to oversee the tire department to hopefully improve the quality of service. I would absolutely not recommend getting your tires at this store location! I feel the management team at this location needs improvement from top to bottom!

It's not like Dillards has a dedicated section or do they? We had been at Macys moments earlier but struggled to find a L and a XXL in the same style We briskly walked into Dillards beelined it to the Men's section and my brother causally asked Cole, " Do you where you guys stock the 70s disco shirts?" Cole replies, " Over-there by the back wall". Cole was not kidding, it was an overgrown Paisley garden. There was countless variations in all sorts of out dated fashionable colors like dark brown, purple, and forest green. The dark brown instantly drew our attention so now the mission was to find two in two different sizes. The large was easy to find but the XXL proved to be a bit trickier. After checking hanger sizes and actual sizes we found a mismatch where the hanger had said XL but the shirt was XXL. My brother strips off his over shirt like he's about to a nude model for an art class. The older ladies shopping abruptly stopped and turned their collective heads as if they thought a rendition of Magic Mike was going to be happening live. It was to their chagrin, when my brother put on the brown Paisley shirt over his t-shirt that they knew the show was over. Mission Accomplished. His shirt fit. We made it back to Cole so that he would get the credit / commission / recognition. Cole was impressed with our choices and said that we would look snazzy in our shirts. What more confirmation is needed. Thanks to Dillards, Cole specially for helping us find two brown Paisley shirts for our Dad's Celebration of Life event. It truly looked like we got into a DeLorean traveled back in time twice to get the shirts out our dad's closet. As I write this the day after, I don't think we'll return the shirts to the closet. We understand that the timeline may never be the same but it's a risk worth taking.

I know that Ross is not exactly known for its upscale layout or cleanliness, but the condition of this location was unacceptable. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned or maintained in years. It was also clear that someone--either an employee or a former employee--had stolen, or was using, the theft detection device openers. I'm referring to the magnet and pin types. There seemed to be someone who was aware of the camera placements and was actively working on unlocking and stealing products, almost as if that was their job. It was alarming to see so many empty lock cases, spider wraps, and clothing or shoe pin locks while we were trying to shop. I placed a dog bowl down where an associate could see it because I had taken it from the top shelf, and I nearly got hurt by a pin from another anti-theft device that was facing up. When I pulled it down, I found three or four pins along with their accompanying magnet lock parts mixed in with the dog food and water bowl. This is simply ridiculous. As we continued shopping, none of the employees appeared to care about what was happening in the store. It was disheartening. I hope they can address these issues before the store has to close due to the problems they are facing. It's evident that this is a significant issue, and they need serious help

Always have to check expiration dates on every item from the Parkcenter location in Boise. I've…read moreaccidentally purchased expired food more than 10 times at this location, and most of it was my fault for rushing on my way home from work to get the last ingredient for dinner but also could be fixed by the store. I often see so many workers stocking aisles so I'm not sure if they just don't check expiration dates or what, but it's a very frustrating experience. I do tell staff at the register what's expired when I see it, but I definitely don't take the 12 old dressings to the front when I stop in for one quick item. Hoping they fix this, but haven't seen improvement in the last 2 years since I started paying attention after some very stale crackers.
