Mawi Cafe is a small but comfortable indoor playground cafe for little kids. It is better suited for smaller kids maybe under 8 years old. Inside playground, there are 2 slides, drawbridge, trampoline and a toddler's area. At entrance, there are 3 screens for video games and a flatscreen TV playing sports. All day play was$10 on our visit. They have a small cafe serving sandwiches, salads, Venezuelan arepas and hot dogs, wine and beer.

    A hidden gem! So clean!

This cafe was perfect for my toddlers. They had fun for 3 hours, it was so clean, and the food was delicious!

Great place for parents and kids, you can have a great dinner, drinks, while your kids have a lot of fun on very safe and enjoyable enviroment. Plenty options for drinks and food. Customer service is excellent. Our kids love it, also big screen to watch games. Section for little kids and big kids.

Nasty maps which owner says they clean.

Worst place to do a party. Please do yourself the favor and look elsewhere. Owner and his wife are extremely rude! The husbands wife lacks customer service and will treat you horrible and has zero control over her emotions. We scheduled a party with them and they said that they were going to do all the decorations. After our deposit, we find out that not much decorations are allowed in their play area. I purchased decorations for the tables and dropped them off the day before so they can put them on the tables before the party. We walk into the party and no decorations are put on the tables, the bag we gave with the decorations are sitting on a table untouched. We are immediately disappointed and my wife told them how upset we were because they didn't do anything. They wife immediately blows up and tries to defend herself saying they didn't even have to do that (The day before said they would take care of it which is why we wasted our time dropping it off in the first place). After my wife expressed her upset, the owners wife said she's never been disrespected like this, started slamming stuff, began telling us that some of our decorations weren't allowed, and will not calm down and started talking garbage to all her employees and to her husband. The amount of inconsideration from these owners was extremely upsetting. Also, now I understand why they don't allow stuff in the play areas, because they don't clean the play area. The mats were nasty, there was garbage thrown everywhere, dust, and very unkempt. I promised them a terrible review on Google, so here it is. Please spare yourself and your kids from this filthy place and unfriendly environment. UPDATE: just spoke to owner and he's still rude, he lied about his response, we threw a small party and our whole family knew the issue and thought the place was nasty and dirty, no one liked the food (reheated pizza and dry empanadas),so NO ONE would ever ask to do business here. Owner didn't like the truth so he hung up the phone. Now I see why his wife hung up the phone before our party, because they're both rude and unprofessional. UPDATE 2: you can clearly see how the owners lack of customer service shows throughout their updates. Apparently he's never been yelled at before since he doesn't really know what yelling is. He would rather just fight with customers when he still knows he's in the wrong. Please take your $2000 elsewhere. There's better, cheaper, and cleaner facilities to enjoy your child's birthday. Thank you Carlos A Rubido and Maria A Rubido for letting us endure you're disgusting attitude and facility.

$10 for open play +$3 for socks if you didn't bring any. Awesome small business owners, very kind and sweet. Huge food menu and the quality of the food is outstanding! We enjoyed every bite. Our toddler was able to play and keep himself entertained the entire time! Highly recommend if you're in the area.

We had our daughters 3rd birthday party here. The staff is great, the decor is beautiful, and the facility is a wonderful place for kids to play while escaping rain and heat of Miami. We would highly recommend this place for play and party.

This is definitely a cool place to bring your little ones and keep them entertained…read more It's especially useful on those pesky rainy days where you can't go to the park. The set up is good ...especially for parties. They have a room designated for the birthday singing, eating, and cake-cutting activities that is separate from the play area. They also have a small arcade section set up and a bungee jump contraption ... at an extra charge. The price is not bad at all...around $12 and your kid gets to bounce until they are tired. They have a concessions where you can get pizza, drinks, ice cream, coffee, etc. The play area is large... there are around 6 giant bounce houses with slides and obstacles. And a section for toddlers with ball pits. It's definitely fun! And safe and indoors! You must wear socks to be in the area ... no shoes, no bare feet! They do have socks for sale $2 if you forget.

I'm honestly surprised by all the 5-star reviews because our visit was nothing like what I expected. I don't know if we happened to come on a bad day, but the staff spent more time policing parents than creating a welcoming environment. I understand that rules are important, and I have no problem following them. However, there was a constant feeling of being watched and corrected, even when we weren't doing anything wrong. The moment that crossed the line for me was when a staff member grabbed me by the shoulder to get my attention. There is simply no reason for an employee to put their hands on a guest. It was completely inappropriate and made me feel very uncomfortable. If you're looking for an indoor play place for your children, I would recommend considering other options. Based on my experience, the customer service here was unprofessional and unnecessarily rude, which took away from what should have been a fun day for the kids.

I do like there were some seating area for the adults to sit and watch, but there are some spots you can't see unless you follow them. We were there on a week day mid-morning, so it wasn't packed. The kids had a great time. There is a cafe on site, but the menu was limited so we opted to go elsewhere (walking distance) to grab a bite to eat. If you're visiting Ft. Lauderdale and are in the area with little kids, this is a great spot to cool off while the kids burn their energy off.

Unfortunately a few Things fell short starting from the arcade that's right in the middle and you do have to pay extra for. So on top of paying the entry fee you have to pay for each game. Which is fine in a way but there's no way to avoid children from seeing it, so you see multiple children having meltdowns of the parents say no to the arcade including my nephew. The city area was so cute! But no toys for them to play with so for instance the market had literally no toys, no play food or literally anything. We looked everywhere and they weren't even hidden in the ball pit (which was a hit with most of the kids) The staff was sweet and friendly and the place was cleaner than other indoor playgrounds we've been to so that was a plus but I don't know if we'd go back

This was such a unique set up in that there were areas for the kids like normal, amongst all the regular arcade games, but there was also a full bar and area with pool tables, etc. I really liked that the trampoline area was split into age groups AND that they were supervised by a staff member. These types of places are notoriously unsafe, partially due to the inherent danger of trampolines, but also because of the difference in age and size of the kids in one area. I felt like my 4-year-old was safe, and that the "toddler" trampoline area was perfect for her age. Another great thing was the food. We had pizza and croquettes, and everyone raved about how good the food actually was which was unexpected for it being a kid play place. Some of us also had margaritas, and that was also great and they did not skimp on the alcohol. (This made sense later when I realized it was an actual bar). The downsides, and the reason I am giving it 4 stars: 1. Most of the staff at the front desk, of which there were many people, were not friendly. At least 5 were standing there at the "party check in" as I waited, looking at them. None of them looked at me or made eye contact, including a girl typing away at the computer in front of me. I realized later there was a designated party check in person, but any of the other girls could have acknowledged our existence and let us know that person would help us. (The party check in person was super friendly, fortunately, and very helpful). 2. Several of the game machines were broken or not functioning, and even the machine to check balance and add of the card was out of order. 3. The games were expensive. I'm used to having unlimited play game cards for birthday parties, but this one was limited to 500 pts... which sounds like a lot until you realize the claw machines are 50, and some other ones we did were 36 a pop. It goes by super fast! 4. Our friend's party was at 2pm, and set up was supposed to start at 1, but the team wasn't ready. So my friend was setting up her party as it started at 2 pm. In all, though, we enjoyed our time here and will definitely rely consider returning as our child gets older.

Couldn't turn around so we decided to go in. Simple entry fill out the waiver and walk to the member at the register to pay. For 1 hour jump and two $20 cards less then $100 easy to say we were sold at this point. Games were fun and the jump area big enough and the kids had fun. Here is the kicker and the real reason for the review. This is a dope spot for a date night with your partner. They have a full bar, tvs to watch sport events and not just that they have pool and axe throwing. Haven't tried that part cause it was the kids day but we will be back. The drink though was amazing very well made and food did look good. Have my eyes on the nachos straight mountain.
