These people were great until my whole family and my daughter's class got incredibly sick with the flu and requested rescheduling the party (truly force majeure, which by the way is nowhere in their contract). You can't have a party with nobody attending. Real life happens for which Kubo wants to take zero responsibility. At first we were flat out rejected for a reschedule, then we were offered a date that didn't work and were told we can't take a premium weekend date as they're losing money. In the end we had to cancel the event with ZERO refund (we requested even a small refund). Nothing was done! Beware of the trap of this place! Never again. read more

We booked Kubo Play for my grandson's first birthday yesterday and couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience. Their attention to detail is second to none. The main table decorations and balloon arch were beautiful. The place is clean and well maintained. The three staff assigned to our party were exceptional. They helped us unload the party favors from the car and took care of placing them on the tables. They were extremely attentive to guest requests and were always passing out food and drinks to our guests. We ordered extra appetizers and sandwiches and everything was delicious. The best part of it all is that they took care of everything so that you can be present for your children's birthday. Thank you for such a wonderful party!! read more

This place is perfect for kids of all ages and adults! I loved that it was indoors lol. From an indoor playground to video games and interactive activities with the kids it was nonstop fun. Parents are able to relax while the kids are totally engaged with the staff members who are playing games with them. The decorations were amazing! They can do almost any theme you can think of. The details were not missed! Friendly staff just wish more of them spoke English. I would definitely have my kids party here if there was one close to us. Wasn't going to write this bad review but they just screwed me again giving away my sons birthday party date despite giving a deposit. So here's the truth. The management here is an absolute disgrace. I booked my daughters birthday a couple weeks after Biscayne opened. sent a deposit, signed a contract only to get threatened three days before my daughters birthday party (without prior contact) that they were going to cancel it because they hadn't received final payment. They also never booked the character until 2 days before, blaming me for not telling them. The owner did send an apology and we did have the birthday but this company has bad business practice. we recently celebrated my daughter's 2nd birthday at Kubo Play Doral. While the decor was wonderful and our guests had a great time, there were a few disappointments that need addressing. Firstly, the clipboard sign-in sheet was cumbersome, and staff repeatedly harassed my guests about the size of their groups, following them around during the party to confirm the number of attendees. Additionally, the entertainer repeatedly called my daughter by the wrong name until corrected, stating that she was following a paper provided by management with the incorrect information. When I called on Monday to share my experience, Alejandro answered the phone with another person's name and attempted to charge me again, despite the party having already taken place. Management definitely needs to work on employee training and finding a better method for tracking guest counts, perhaps using a clicker or similar tool. read more

I did my daughters 2nd birthday party here and it was everything I could have ever wanted and more! The decorations are beautiful, the staff are all incredible and there is so much fun stuff for the kids to do! They do everything all you have to do is come and have a great time. I have to say it was maybe the best kids party I've ever been to. If I could give one bit of criticism it would be for the food...we had the Alfredo pasta with chicken and we weren't a fan and neither were many guests at the party. It was pretty bland and tasteless. I would say for such a beautiful place I wish the catering was better. Today we celebrated my grand baby Zoe's 1st birthday at Kubo, and there is no way we could be happier!!! It was elegant, gorgeous, well thought out, detailed, and so FUN!!! They created her very own Zoeland!!! The children loved everything... the play area, bounce house, open space, and most of all the dancing, singing, and games they enjoyed with the beautiful Princess Roxy!! Santiago was a great communicator regarding my booking, answering all my questions, and sending me all the information needed. The day of the party, the staff helped me with setup of desserts and their attentiveness throughout the party was excellent. I booked Kubo kendall for my daughter's 4th birthday and chose one of their themes, i didnt even see the place, i booked it based on their reviews. I couldn't have hopedp or expected a more wonderful experience. Josmar and the team of girls setup the most stunning decorations, sweets table and food setup. The venue looked brand new and the cleanest ive ever seen. The staff wouldnt let me do anything, they stepped up to help at every second of the party and they were on top of every detail. I had my daughters bday party at the doral location on March 17. The venue is amazing! Super clean. They have video games, a play ground while the parents can relax and mingle together. The decorations were amazing! I did upgrade to the garland balloons which was 100 percent worth it! The food exceeded my expectations! The tequeños were to die for! The brunch menu was delicious! The staff went above and beyond to make the preparation of the sandwiches amazing. From the pizza to the hotdogs anything you order on the menu you won't be disappointed. I ordered the cake pops from the company that they work with and they did a beautiful job! The cake pops were delicious!Let's talk about the staff. From the moment I got there, all of the girls helped us carry all of our stuff. And they were on top of all the guests making sure they didn't run out of their drinks! I can't say enough about the employees service! They were outstanding! The girl that does the garland balloons is super talented! I don't have pictures since I hired a photographer and the pictures won't be available for two weeks. I will come back here and post them. I highly recomendar the face painter, balloon twisted and Melania cotton candy. All these are add ons but with every penny. The face painter was super talented and although there were along of girls in line she managed to do all of them. Very tasteful. The balloon twister was also amazing! He can do just about anything! And the cotton candy they make you a hello kitty, a picachu etc it's very unique to have at your event. I will definitely use their services again! I highly recommend them! I normally love to plan my son's birthday and do all the decorations myself; however, I had a lot going on this year and decided to choose a party place that would handle all the details for me. Most of the places I looked at were very cheesy and dirty... till I found Kubo. It is extremely clean and very modern. The decorations were absolutely beautiful, I'll even concede and admit that it was better than anything I could've put together. The food was good and I had plenty of pizza and lasagna left over. The only down side is that it can be a bit pricey but bday are a once a year event, a little spoiling won't hurt. The theme was Sofia the First. A balloon arch with a wall banner greeted everyone at the door. We added the dessert and candy station and it was such a beautiful presentation. The table for the children was stunning. Sofia the First items were on the table such a stuffed animals; matching plates, straws, napkins, and cups; and chair covers. The food was good. The pizza was really good. The hot dogs were a hit. The lasagna was good, but the bread was a bit hard. Since the establishment doesn't include alcoholic beverages, we were able to bring beer and wine at our own expense. The children were entertained with the play area. Non-stop action in the wooden playground and the mushroom bounce house. Sofia the First came and entertained the children for one hour. The attendants were always on point to make sure the guests were comfortable and the parents could socialize and enjoy the party. I highly recommend this venue for children parties. Came here for a birthday party and I fell in love! The space is so nice, clean and lots to do for the kiddos. The playground is very large and has plenty of slides and obstacle courses. The bounce house was huge! and they even had an area with foam shapes for kids to get all kinds of creative. Overall, a great place to have a party for the kids. read more

Beginning with the back and forth emails between Natalia and I, in which I drove crazy! She was very professional and extremely helpful throughout the process. My daughter wanted a unicorn themed birthday but that was not a theme that they offered in their packages. They went out of their way to make sure they decorated according to my theme. When I got there the set up over exceeded my expectations! The staff was very accommodating and always on top of every detail. The food was delicious! We chose the imperial rice and the pasta with chicken, I had people that ate four times because of how good the food was. The place was super clean! The entertainment that was included in the package was excellent! She came dressed as a unicorn. In all honesty this place is worth every penny!!! If you add up all you spend on a birthday including the food and the decorations bounce house, playground you will spend about the same thing or more. Went today for a little cousins birthday. The place is great for little kids and is very clean. Their pretty new so let's see if they're able to maintain their cleanliness. The staff was great and continuously walked around offering finger food such as tequenos (baked cheese sticks). They also had hot dogs and pizza (average, nothing amazing but still edible) for everyone and fountain drinks. The place is rented out for parties and they have a bounce house, a building block area, and an indoor playground. There was also an entertainer for about an hour and a disco party with smoke and the whole nine yards (think of la hora loca during weddings). The kids had tons of fun the only thing is that it's a little pricey but if it's done Monday through Thursday the price drops. The decorations were very cute. They don't let you bring in much outside stuff because they want you to purchase their items. read more
