I have many children, & attest that this store has always been too high priced unless they had a special which made our shopping. That made our shopping there more spurious and ad hoc, which is probably not helpful for their loyalty and forecasting. The store has not a huge diversity of goods and any goods there are paying for product placement on a retail shelf for which the consumer pays and thus online shopping has wholly eclipsed this business model. The staff always worked very hard and they did seem happy so I hope they were because the morale is very difficult with so little buying and foot traffic. I as a customer could feel the same that maybe why I did not really really want to be in there, despite the bright colors of their decor, and the whole concept of babies and happiness. I recall they had some relationship with other retailers in the $BBY network and yet the online buying was not as fluid as to make for a click and collect feature. Lastly, these stores were located far out in suburbia, where there is too much distance for easy buying and driving so much is tiring specially, with young children, furthering our lack of use of such a store. All in all it was a business matter for another time.

I know nothing about the selling aspect but we try to buy exclusively from this store. Most items are $4-10 and that means we leave with a whole pile of great finds for $50. We do miss the fitting room they once had but the return policy has always been easy for us to swap for something else if it doesn't fit. The best is end of season clearance when it goes to $1 clearance items and then 90% off. We even got the text to come and grab 10 items for free last week.

I used to go to this mall plenty of times in the past when I still lived in New Jersey. However, as…read morethe years have gone on the mall has degraded over time for most of the same reasons as to why many malls today are going out. The stores are all going out due to too much online shopping, as well as shoplifting, and of course the variety of stores shrinking over time. The mall used to have a much better variety of stores in the past from a toy store, a Wendy's, a Chick-fil A, and many other stores that are no longer a part of it. The mall today is almost completely barren and empty with little to no surviving stores left which is sad. Sure it has been modernized and renovated over the years to help give it a more modern feel, but it is only a matter of time before it is completely gone and torn down to make room for another warehouse. The only good thing about it now is the food court selection is slightly better than in the past and all the food places are all in the same vicinity not scattered like it used to be. But in the end, the stores now don't offer the same quality or value of products you would get in the past when there were much better stores to choose from.

Inside, time folds in on itself like a pair of clearance khakis. There are stores selling perfume, gadgets, jeans tight enough to restrict original thought. There's a Cheesecake Factory, which exists on the same moral plane as purgatory: vast, overlit, and full of folks trying to remember what it was they came in for. The mall is clean. The ceilings are high. The escalators move up and down like Sisyphus with a corporate sponsor. No one seems to know why they're there, but they are, floating from JC Penney to Old Navy in a retail daze. The air smells faintly of artificial scents and unspoken longing. There's something poetic about a mall in the 21st century. A living fossil. A place where you can still see teenagers in small herds, clutching bubble tea and dreams. Where old men power-walk past Forever 21, defiant in orthopedic sneakers. Where the Apple Store shines like a sterile shrine to tech-assisted distraction. Three stars. Not because it's bad; it's not. It is precisely what it claims to be: a mall. A decent one. One with enough stores to feel like you might find something, even if you don't know what you're looking for. It would get four stars if it had a decent bookstore. It would get five if it could answer why I felt slightly lonelier when I left than when I arrived.

I…read morehad a gift receipt for the outfit and the cashier said I would receive $8.00 in store credit. Since we received this gift two weeks prior to Christmas, I felt that item was purchased at regular price. I asked her why the credit was so low since I had a gift receipt. She told me store policy is to issue the lowest sale price after a certain amount of time has passed. I didn't question the policy as we were returning an item in February that we had received in December. She then proceeded to say "Well, that's how much the person paid for the item anyway." I don't know why she felt it necessary to tell me that. Was she trying to insinuate the only reason my daughter received an item from Janie and Jack was because it was marked down ?!? It was a rude & unnecessary comment to make. We, later found out that the pajama was actually purchased at $50.00. Had my experience with the cashier been more pleasant, I would have made a purchase and willingly paid the difference. However ,what she said made me feel uncomfortable and I didn't want to spend another minute in that store.
