She was recommended to me by a former co-worker about a year ago who had Brittany sell their cabin and help them relocate to a condo. I reached out to her then and we traded a few emails back and forth where I described my Tahoe experience and what I was looking for. I emailed her with a long list of care abouts, and she set me up a profile to automatically email me listings of anything that came up as a match. As I'm an out of towner, this was fine (although kind of superfluous, as I was a relentless Zillow/Redfin checker). One or two properties piqued my interest over the past year, and we traded a few emails with her about them, but nothing quite lit the fire enough to get me up there to take a solid look at. Come the following summer after I first contacted her, I was up in the area renting a Vrbo on vacation and I emailed her to ask about a just seeing a few properties. She emailed me that she had JUST had a baby the previous week, but she would find another agent friend of hers to help show me anything I was interested in. We targeted a few places and met her stand-in at one and then we caravanned over to another, where pretty soon I fell in love. I thought it over, and after a few days, decided to make an offer. Despite her newly minted 2nd time mommy status, Brittany said she was already back on the job and would help us make this offer happen. She is an absolute BULLDOG in the BEST possible way and made not being local almost no issue whatsoever. She was ON everything!! Buying a house can be stressful, but Brittany is so well connected, she managed to navigate all my concerns having it inspected by a fantastic inspector (Phil of Alpine Home Inspection) who caught ALOT of issues the sellers inspector had missed. With all that said, she still had the offer to the sellers a quicker close to make my offer the one for them to choose. Not surprisingly that made the already stressful event a bit more, but Brittany was ALWAYS there working EVERY angle we needed. The best part is even after the transaction was completed, she is still our eyes and ears (and arms and legs) on the ground there to help coordinate a few minor things that needed tuning up before it was ready for us to call our own. I can honestly say that I would not own my dream home in Tahoe without her. Seriously if you are thinking of buying a place in the Tahoe area, get Brittany Rupp on YOUR side. Look at their unrecommended reviews. They create fake profiles for fake 5 star reviews which were reported and removed and they lie to try to delete negative ones. They are so desperate to censor negative reviews because their entire customer base is Bay Area people no one here will work with them. I PAID their commission and I SIGNED their agreements. That constitutes working together in CONTRACT LAW. That they represented a buyer has nothing to do with the fact that we worked together. They also have not responded once to the emails on their agent Matt Smith breaching the realtor code of conduct, being unethical and directly lying. Article 1 of their realtor code of conduct is to be HONEST with all parties, whether representing a buyer or seller. They also don't know that censoring honest reviews is actually illegal and enforceable with the FTC. They were paid on the sale of MY home because I accepted their offer and I want to share my story so you don't make the same mistake. 24 hours after acceptance we were advised to delay our sale due to an unforseen 84k tax liability. We learned fast they didn't care about a win win, our family, their clients, only when they would be paid. True character is shown during times of trial. I wouldn't wish these liars on my worst enemy. They involved their lawyer immediately (see attached email) to threaten us to keep a bad deal going! They made negative statements about our financial situation with others copied, lied in legal documentation and gave us no notice that their clients couldn't close after we were forced to move with an infant in four days. Their behavior cost their clients tens of thousands of dollars in penalties because they couldn't close on time. They also used unethical tactics to try to get information from my contractors and lawyer, who told me everything. It was awesome after forcing us through a bad contract they had to turn around and plead for goodwill and flexibility (see attached letter) their clients had to pay us $10k to keep the deal going because they broke the contract. That's the ONLY reason this escrow closed. Instant legal karma my lawyer called it. Look, they are STILL lying in their response and no response to the actual facts and I've posted emails and documentation of all my account. Do business with good honest people. Team Blair really are dishonest, unethical, exploitative, selfish - despicable in the current times. Don't worry Team Blair, I won't be bullied or censored by a group like you. People should know how you do business. Beware Tahoe!

Most recently, our tub broke down several weeks before renters were to arrive. Josh bent over backwards to support our non-Tahoe tub supplier in its effort to try to locate and fix the problem(s). After it appeared the supplier's multiple trips to try to fix the problems had cured them, the Friday the renters arrived, and at no fault of Josh, the tub stopped working again. Josh worked with me well through the Friday afternoon to try to identify the cause. On Saturday, Josh came running -- on a Saturday no less -- and fixed it. Our renters were ecstatic -- with snow heavily coming down that Saturday afternoon, our renters were thrilled to get in our outdoor hot tub and enjoy the entire snowing and hot-water-jet environment. It became clear through this process that Josh new better about what to do to fix the problems than did the hot tub supplier's service personnel.
