The shirt needed laundering and the slacks needed dry cleaning, both with military pressing. The employee said it was past their normal cutoff time for same day service, but they discussed and agreed to help us out anyway. They said they would have them done by 5:00 pm. Much to my surprise they texted me that my order was ready to pick up at 12:30! They did an excellent job, perfect military press, and super fast. I simply asked for an estimated price because it was my first time getting clothes dry cleaned, and instead of being helpful, she was dismissive and never even provided the estimate. She also claimed she couldn't hear me, even though I was speaking clearly. The service was extremely slow, and I ended up wasting most of my HOUR lunch break. After the interaction, I told her I no longer wanted the service. Instead of respecting my decision, the manager continued to argue with me even after I simply said, "Okay." Because of how I was treated, I left and went to Fashion Cleaners, where I received MUCH better customer service and was treated with respect. I also felt VERY uncomfortable when two employees in the back kept staring at me after I stepped outside to take a phone call. Overall, I felt unwelcome and disrespected. In my opinion, this was not a friendly or welcoming environment, and I will not be returning.

While the service was quite fast and the woman working at the store was kind, I was a bit shell shocked by the price. I understand that Max I's policy is to not give prices up front and I walked out of the store without any estimate when I dropped the clothes off. I do understand that you have to specifically ask for an estimate if you want one, but it totally slipped my mind since I'm accustomed to my prior dry cleaners giving estimates without being asked. I was a bit taken aback when it was close to $70 to clean two blouses and two dresses (no stains, didn't request anything special or out of the ordinary). And when I paid that much and then noticed one of the dresses was wrinkled (see photo) when I got home, I wasn't ecstatic. While I am aware that they have a satisfaction guarantee, I'm not sure when I'll be able to make it back in to address this. Overall, exceptionally quick service, well done service, just a bit expensive for what I had expected.
