This review is based on a visit we had on Monday, July 7. We made an appointment for a 1 hr massage for 3 people at 845PM. We arrived on time at the massage place but were advised that there was a bit of a wait which was fine. Within 5 mins, they were able to accommodate the first 2 in our party but I wasn't assigned a masseuse until 9:05PM. I advised the masseuse that I had a lot of tension in my shoulders and requested a deep tissue massage. To make a long story short, after multiple requests for a harder massage, the masseuse would make an effort and would then proceed to say she was tired. I absolutely understand these are human beings and it is late in the day so I went ahead with no complaints for the entire massage. After our massage, I was then advised by the other person in our party that the gentleman that gave her the massage had to leave a couple of times midway through the massage to assist someone else. The issue I have is with the gentleman who was in charge of the front. When paying for our 3 massage's, I added a $10 tip for each masseuse despite our experience but then he openly mocked me about leaving a small tip. I understand that masseuse's rely on their tips but tipping is not a requirement and I just felt like they had a feeling of entitlement expecting a bigger tip despite our experience. I know that these type of reviews impact a business but I hope this reaches the owner and also the gentlemen who assisted us so they can make the proper adjustments. We were patient and understanding to the circumstances of the business that night and also we are paying customers, we tipped for the services we received, we should not be pressured or ridiculed. read more

That was just what I needed! Very clean facility. Very private as well in each separate room. The aroma when you walk in was lovely and they played very soft relaxing music the entire time. I got the 90 minute massage combo number three and Mary did an excellent job. She hit all the right spots with just the perfect amount of pressure. Very friendly, lovely staff. The only drawback was a bit of a language barrier, but we got through it. Will definitely be back! read more

Just had a full body massage and it was amazing!! I needed a deep tissue massage and had many areas with tight knots. Max did a great job of trying to work out the knots and firm pressure while constantly asking me if I was ok and if the pressure was good, it was such a great experience and massage, I will be coming back! WOW! what a freakin experience. i wish i asked for her name, but she was absolutely lovely. soft spoken and gentle with her words. when it came to rubbing me, she was perfect with her pressure. constantly asking me if it was okay -- and it was more than okay!!! it was heavenly. she massaged my hair; in fact, she massaged my hair like an art form. everything i wanted in a massage, i got it. 10/10 will be coming back here as long as i have a body to be massaged. i literally can't get over what just happened to my body. read more

Came in and was greeted with a gentleman who was ready with a translator on his phone. That made me feel welcomed and gave a sense of great customer service. He quickly asked if he (male) could be my (female) masseuse. I agreed. He was extremely respectful. I was able to direct him to where I was experiencing tension and he helped me so so much and then some. Found and resolved knots I had no idea I had. my mom and i were supposed to do 90 minutes and was kicked out 60 minutes in because apparently the couple who cant afford to wait 30 more minutes are more important than completing the service we wanted. we did not get the foot massage that we wanted. this was our favorite place but dont think we will come back again. the massage overall was great and my requests were met but in the end, it felt rushed since our session was forced to end. wanted to add that like a normal customer - we waited for a whole hour (we did walk in) before there was any availability. so it just sucks that our session got ended early just because this couple cant wait. my mom would advertise this place to all her friends but she is disappointed in what happened read more

Did not enjoy this massage. I was basically just being rubbed oil on the entire 60 min. I doubt it was even the full 60 since they kept disappearing. The moment we layed on the table we waited about 12 min naked laying down. We got there at 6:45 pm, massage finished at 7:45. Once they finally "started" the massage, my massage man was on the phone, talking the first 10 min and then he disappeared and brought another girl to massage me. Took about 5 min for that. They the girl just started rubbing oil on me like crazy. Zero pressure. Just rubbing oil with her hands and her forearms. She also was EXTREMLY Rough with moving my arms. Slapping them up, throwing them down or to the sides. The women were giggling and talking the whole time aswell. They would probably disappear every 10 min for about 5 min. So a "60min massage" was a 25 or 30 min massage when they where actually massaging us. This is not worth $120. And we still tipped $15. And the guy was like "that's it ? It was 2 people" and I said yes we didn't enjoy the massage and he said sorry and told them something in there language. Will never be coming here again. Love this place! This is my go-to for my massage needs. Their pricing is reasonable and comparable to other massage places in the area. I personally recommend Lili; she is tiny but mighty! I pointed out some pain spots (specifically my neck and shoulders), and she did a great job in addressing the stiffness and soreness I felt in those areas. I usually do a full-body massage. One thing I will note: they add anywhere from $2-$5 fees for using a credit card. So if you have cash, that's definitely the way to go and avoid this fee. For this reason, I'm removing a star. I wish I had taken a picture of the fees, but the more money your massage costs, the higher the fee. I found this part a bit ridiculous because what's the justification? Also, as mentioned by another person, they do not have actual rooms; it is separated by curtains. So yes, you CAN hear other people near you and/or customers making their way in/out. The spa music they have is very soothing and helped with combating any disruptive noises. The staff here doesn't speak full English, so it is sometimes difficult to communicate with them. For example, I kept asking them on the phone for their address but they did not understand. Luckily a quick Google search fixed that, but I do wish they knew a little more for their own personal and business's benefit. I always feel taken care of here and will continue to return. read more

This has to be one of our favorite places to get a massage in the Santa Clarita Valley. We've tried a number of places, and we can never find a consistent location that has availability and has great massage therapists. We've done the 90 and the 60 minute sessions, and we always feel really good after. With the 90 minute session, you can get a combo of body and feet. I tend to ask for a "firm" pressure full body, and the next day I am feeling a little sore, but it feels really good. I only chose this location because I thought it had good reviews and low price, but there was nothing positive about my own experience. 1. Called, rang, no answer. Not a good first impression. There is no receptionist to answer calls. Received a call back an hour later; after they were done massaging another client. 2. I was told on the phone there was a stamp card that you can earn a free massage service after attending several times. Never received the card or stamp after service. 3. Arrived early, massage started late. 4. When I walked in, there was a woman lying on the couch with her phone. No attempt to get up as soon as she saw me. Was she a customer? After I stood there confused, she eventually got up and asked me what service I wanted. Oh so she works there, wow. 5. I was placed next to the bathroom so I could hear when people used it. There are no rooms here just hospital style curtains to section areas off. 6. Normally, the masseuse will explain what to do and how to lay on their bed- under towel/sheets. Face down/ face up, etc. I was just put by the bed and left there until Max finished his other massage and eventually came over to me. This made me so confused and frustrated because I had no idea what to do so I was just standing there like wtf is going on?! 7. Zero privacy in the curtained off area; Max walked out multiple times, once to quiet a ringing cell phone, and left the curtain open during my massage. I was filled with anxiety the entire time. 8. I literally could not breathe when he was attempting to do a deep tissue massage on my back. I had to focus on taking deep breaths and holding because he applied so much pressure. I was too uncomfortable to even speak up because I didn't want to disturb the other patrons. 9. The quality of the "massage" was the worst I've ever had. Zero technique. I was in so much more pain afterwards for the next week. 10. He ruined my hairline and it will take years to recover. I have blonde hair and it was pulled back in a tight ponytail. Max rubbed my hair all along my hairline and caused so much breakage I have permanent damage now. You NEVER touch someone's hair in a tight ponytail. He should have taken my hair down first. That's just a complete lack of common sense. Overall, DON'T go to this place based on reviews. From the first phone call, to what I saw when I walked in- I should have trusted my instincts and ran out the door. I'm still so upset about the entire experience and regret choosing this location because of the price and what seemed like good reviews. read more

I told him I wanted to leave a certain amount and he gives me a hard time lol. Acting like he can't hear me and says "why don't just do $10?!" Cause I don't want to. Obviously lol. Legitimately in awe. I walked in with so much pain one hour later and my back feels wonderful. I have had lower back pain for approximately two months on and off. Anna gave me a deep tissue massage that pinpointed all of my painful muscle locations. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing and the owner is very kind. I was able to get in the very same day that I needed the appointment. I will be coming back for sure at least once a week! read more

I visited Max Massage for the 1st Time today & when you step inside this massage business, you quickly see that everything is extremely clean, Serene, tranquil & impeccable. The employees are very polite!! Issa gave me my Hot Stone massage as I had requested. I felt respected as she constantly made sure that I was well covered for modesty. I have fibromyalgia & some very sensitive areas. I asked her to please be more Gentle on certain areas & she quickly adapted. Issa did such an excellent job that I went home to take a nap! My entire experience was Wonderful & I was well pleased with the service. The price is a bargain that makes it affordable to go more frequently. I will be returning!! The reason I gave them only 4stars is because I wish the music was louder/on so I can indulge all of my senses as part of the Asian spa experience. This review is too much overdue! I have been coming here at least monthly, (I wish it was more often) for about a year now. I cannot express the pain relief I feel during and after my massage! Max is incredible with his gift of knowing how to massage! I even have better breathing with just ten minutes of the face massage, The body/ combo is my Favorite. Lena is always very sweet and helpful too! I do suffer from Osteoarthritis, Fibromyalgia also now, which is the result of a very old horrible injury. It is clean, quiet and where you can just relax, For me, better than pain medication. I was referred to this place by a friend. When I arrived, I was a bit hesitant to be honest. The windows have cardboard signs all over as their way of advertisement... But the inside is actually nice and charming. Once you get passed the cosmetic details of the outside, it's honestly one of the best massage parlours around. 30 minutes for foot and full body massage for $30 or 90 minutes of foot and full body for $45. My husband and I both had the 90 minute massage. We both walked out feeling very limber. The masseuse are very attentive and hospitable. Let me tell you,they really work the knots out of ya! Any knot they'd encounter they go elbow deep ( no pun intended, hah) and deknot the knots. seriously, amazing massages. This is now going to be our go to massage spot. read more
