Royal Escape as the name implies is indeed, a fortress to behold if you are looking to be taken to a deeper level with your tissues, nerves and a great relaxation experience. I have been to many spa's but none quite gave me that wow experience like I got here , I literally did not want it to end. Starting with the amazing ambience with the environment creating such a welcoming vibe, the awesome masseuse Mina, the deep tissue body massage, hot stones heating the very right spots, calming music in the background, facials...It's something you can only be there to understand the depth of professionalism I had. And all credits go to the adorable owner, Onn which without her expertise, skills , training and guidance...her team would not be half as perfect. Jonathan saved my back with one session. I booked a 90min myofascial massage specifically for my sciatica. I waddled into the appt in so much pain and walked out standing straight. Called ahead and asked for a massage for 2 people. They told me yes they can do facial and treatment for 2 people but when we arrived there was one person bouncing back and forth doing facial treatment and massage. So I was waiting for a treatment for half an hour then switching as she was available. My sister ended up not doing a massage because essentially a one hour treatment was 2 hours with her going back and forth. Not ideal. Was also very expensive imo. $140 for 30 minute facial and 30 minute massage, 1 hour total. Many other masseuse will do a 1 hour massage for around $60 for comparison. I will say the treatment itself was really nice. My face was very smooth after. Inside was royal themed. Just the experience was sub par due to lack of massage and facial people. I was able to book online short notice for a couples massage for myself and my husband. The experience was weird to say the least. Walked in, there's an older man questioning me who I'm there to see and when I asked if he works there he says no. Just some guy who knows the owner hanging out in the lobby?? When who I'm assuming is the owner came out and said she could accommodate our couples massage in 30 minutes when her partner was ready. Ok no problem. Came back in, we get comfy and start getting actually really really good massages. All is good until about 45 minutes in she has me turn to my side and a different person takes over. New person Says nothing doesn't introduce herself and seems pretty irritated to be there in general. I asked her to just stop as I thought it was WEIRD to change off therapists in the middle of a service. This thick accented eastern European lady starts just arguing with me instead of leaving the room. No communication at all for the swap of therapists. And very different massage styles, the first person was amazing and the swap in was terrible. I'm sad because I would have returned as our massages were great until that weird change of persons. No communication- made me feel so uncomfortable! A little communication goes a long way. Could use a front desk person- having random people hang out in the lobby and question customers is so off putting and odd. read more

Got a Groupon for 30 min facial 30 min massage & 60 min head spa. I first want to say the service I got from the massage therapist / facialist was great, but the atmosphere was a let down. Not relaxing as the owner(?) kept opening the door telling them how much longer I had and interrupting. When I showed up nobody was there yet and when the staff arrived they had no idea what was going on. Got my services confused with someone else's and it took at least 15-20 mins just to get started. The massage therapist was great and accommodated my pregnancy perfectly. The woman who did my facial and scalp massage was very knowledgeable but I did leave with scrub all over my neck and still in my hair. It wasn't the typical head spa experience I've previously had. Just a head massage and rinse really. Left with my hair super knotted and still very wet (although I did say it was dry enough because I knew I would be washing it when I got home) I probably won't go back or recommend to anyone just due to how unorganized it all seemed. When I was leaving I was about to ask for the massage therapists info so I could leave a tip and before I could even get a word out the owner(?) was hounding me about leaving a tip and it made me feel very Put on the spot and uncomfortable. read more
