There are no frills here. And you have got to be extremely vocal with what you want. The gentleman at the front will try and convince you of something else if you don't go in there like a regular knowing exactly what treatment and how much. I've also heard loud customers complaining while I'm getting massaged about things like, the music played being too loud (it wasn't but I'm making note of the limited privacy and how your massage/relaxation can be interrupted) , and I've been in a massage next to a guy very vocal to the masseuse about NOT massaging center areas and he kept having to tell them over and over. I've experienced that as well. I'll say only my hands and feet and have ended up laying on the table in a full body. So again please be sure they understand what you are saying and know what you're walking into. In my experience, and tbh I go here often. 90 minutes is good. Do 30 in the open chair, and then do an hour behind a curtain on a table. One thing I will say is I noticed they only do your back when you're on the table (you lay on your stomach) they don't flip you over and do both sides. Which I don't like. While we usually call ahead, we were in the area and decided to stop by. Still, he told us to return at 7:35 PM.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We came back on time, only to be told we'd be placed in separate rooms -- even though we had very clearly requested a couples massage. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When my boyfriend politely reminded him of our original request, the owner became agitated and visibly upset, creating a very uncomfortable and unsafe atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]He sarcastically repeated "just a couples room?" before looking me up and down and laughing -- an incredibly inappropriate and demeaning gesture.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]He then abruptly told us to "come back at 8 PM!!" in a dismissive tone.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] At that point, my boyfriend understandably asked for a refund. What followed was absolutely unprofessional: the owner slammed a drawer, threw the money on the counter, muttered angrily under his breath, and made several unsolicited comments toward my boyfriend. [[HIGHLIGHT]]He even tossed the money at him, which led my boyfriend to ask, "What's your problem?" -- prompting the man to raise his voice and start shouting in another language.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] While the prices might seem appealing, no affordable massage is worth being treated with such hostility, disrespect, and what felt like discrimination. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I left feeling rattled, unsafe, and completely disrespected. Went with a girlfriend and the ladies who massaged us were good but I wished more of the massages focus would have been on my feel since we paid for a 60 minute foot massage. I know they massage your body (front and back) but I really wanted my feet massaged for more than just what felt like a 15 minute scrub. Also, the guy running the front desk is rough. I read a review about his personality and it was definitely accurate. They ask if you want soft, medium, or hard. One of us got medium and the other got hard and we each think they adequately massaged at that level. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I really appreciated the kind service from the ladies, as they frequently asked if things were okay and if we were comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It is a private room separated by curtains, so you do feel a bit more comfortable undressing. I woke up with extreme pain in my neck/upper back. I called for an appointment and got in right away. I didn't ask for anyone in particular. Usually, I ask for a male masseuse. I just took what I could get. That was a good move!!! Jennifer was AMAZING! I didn't tell her about my pain. I just wanted her to massage all of me. However, she is soooo knowledgeable of the human body and in tuned to its aches and pains. She immediately knew and asked me about it. Her methods were so effective! She was also caring, making sure I was comfortable. If you are modest and don't feel comfortable with somebody massaging your rump, you might want to mention that. To be honest, I would recommend you try to overcome that modesty because it is one of the best parts of the overall massage experience. I was just seen today for a 60 minute foot reflexology with Emily and upon tipping her, she had the audacity to ask me for more money! This service is $40 and I gave her an 18% tip but she pointed to a sign that says you need to pay $10 for one hour. I have no problem tipping more if the service was amazing (it was okay, you do get for what you pay for) but to ask me to give her $10? Unacceptable and unprofessional. I read the reviews but thought that I would be fine because I always tip 20%. I received a painful massage were the woman performing the massage mostly used her elbow instead of her fingers. She spent about 2 minutest on my feet and I could tell she did not want to be doing her job. I still paid her the 20% tip. She gave me such dirty looks. 5/5 stars for the massage! For $40 I recieved: -Full body massage w/oil & hot stone -Including neck, forehead, scalp, & she really also focused on each one of my toes haha. Jennifer asked me as soon as I got in if I wanted medium or more on the harder side. I really appareciated that because most places don't and they go harder on me than I'd like. I told her soft/medium and she did just that, it was perfect. She really took her time and hit every place on my body, stretched me out, and made sure to ask and check if I was still doing okay. The only thing was (& I think they were short staffed today that's why) but she was in charge of the phone calls and appointments so she did have to take 2 phone calls and some of the clients coming in were kinda loud (not the businesses fault). Nonetheless, I'll definitely be coming back and will be asking for Jennifer, she did an amazing job!
