I love this store and what they do. The owner is always incredibly helpful. He knows a TON about supplements and is willing to share and I learn something new every time I go in. I stumbled into the Gilroy location about a year ago when an athletic trainer suggested incorporating BCAAs into my regimen. Upon being greeted in a friendly manner, I had questions. The staff is incredibly helpful and advises their customers' needs promptly. Today I bought a powdered drink supplement. I was thoughtfully warned to not leave it in the heat because heat will destroy the product. Oh! Good tip from the expert. In a past visit they asked what my goals were and even more inquiry about my usual workout times when it came to lifting to ensure that the 180 mg of caffeinated pre-workout drink might be the best fit for my needs. Everyone is different when it comes to caffeine tolerance. Some people don't even know the differences between all those supplements. Many are hyped up and are backed by major advertising, but the ingredients are not of the best quality. I love the Gilroy store!!! Additionally, a variety of pre-made meals taste great and are priced to sell fast. I bought my elderly Gma some steak, ground beef, and ground turkey so she wouldn't need to cook as often. I love the chicken with brown rice and whole wheat pasta served with a reasonably small-sized portion of steamed vegetables. Some examples are cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, and stems of asparagus. Give this independently owned business a chance to feed your brain and or body with supplemental knowledge as well as nutrients!!! read more
