I will not say that traditional therapy wouldn't have worked, but she felt that the warmth of the water and resistance would make a more gentle experience for me....and she was right! When I injured my right knee.....I did the heat and ice thing, eventually getting it to the point of being able to walk, but it still wasn't right. I happened to remember how great the therapy was, emailed my doctor for a referral and made a pretty quick set of appointments. It's been a month and what I can tell you is that a pretty serious pain is now gone. Naturally, everyone is going to have a different experience with how much time it take to heal, but I am so very thrilled with where I am! First the receptionist Nicole was super bubbly like if you're feeling out of sort or down like super down just pop your head in and I'm certain you'll smirk smile or even chuckle before leaving. I didn't feel like cattle. Dr. Oz took his time explained everything and began to work on my painful points. Then the CA showed me a few exercises before leaving her name escapes me of it's not Hallie.. although my pain is still there it's only my first appt. But my mood definitely shifted They have several locations in AA county that offer a full range of services. Highly recommend if you need some minor adjustments or long term treatment options.

The initial charge was just about a $100 for being military with $25 for every visit since most insurance I don't believe covers it or at least military insurance doesn't. I was seen pretty quickly and was taken out of pain pretty fast with no real pressure to schedule more appointments. I did find that very refreshing though afterwards I did get a few phone calls to check if I wanted to come in but again nothing that had a lot of pressure to it more of a Hey we are just checking type of a thing. Because my schedule has been a little hectic I have not been able to get back in there but my initial experience was one that makes me feel it is worth it to go back. I'm docking one star due to the practice taking my insurance confirming they would bill it but then not billing it when I verified with my company later. Also be aware that their current request for appointments and responses on their website doesn't seem to work or they may not be utilizing it because I had not gotten a call back to reschedule an appointment.

I started going to this PT office after having knee pain while I was training for my first half-marathon. I cannot recommend this office enough - I LOVE Martin and the rest of the staff. It's pretty ass-kicking but at the end it was so worth it. Martin is incredibly knowledgable and thorough, and at the same time pretty goofy and personable. Not to mention, my knee pain is completely gone now and I was able to run my half-marathon with ease. I'm so grateful for Martin and his amazing team.

Without exception the physical therapists genuinely care about their patients and do their best to improve each person's condition. The techs are also very friendly and make sure their patients do all their exercises correctly and effectively. The receptionist is very efficient in scheduling appointments and keeping everything running smoothly. One additional plus is Bayside's Health and Wellness program. When your health insurance company says you're done with official PT, you have the option of continuing your path to wellness with Sarah, Bayside's certified trainer. She determines what exercise program will work best for you, and then works with you individually to help you reach your goals. She is wonderful in creating specific exercises that match your abilities, while also encouraging you to stretch beyond your current capabilities. For these reasons I'll keep coming back to Bayside PT.
