I will not say that traditional therapy wouldn't have worked, but she felt that the warmth of the water and resistance would make a more gentle experience for me....and she was right! When I injured my right knee.....I did the heat and ice thing, eventually getting it to the point of being able to walk, but it still wasn't right. I happened to remember how great the therapy was, emailed my doctor for a referral and made a pretty quick set of appointments. It's been a month and what I can tell you is that a pretty serious pain is now gone. Don't get me wrong, I love the doctors whose care I have been under for the past 18? Years…read more However, whether it was Covid or being absorbed into Luminis, they have become busy enough that good care only exists if you are lucky or very important. They are scheduling out anywhere from 2-6 weeks for appointments. Diagnoses for care are made at the scheduling level at times therefore restricting your care options. Calls for appointments, even recommended by a practice physician, require you to leave a message, so if you receive a call from scheduling TAKE it, and cancel everything including work to make whatever appointment they offer. This will provide your best opportunity for successful treatment. My first visit on this most recent issue was diagnosed based on X-rays and MRIs that were taken at least a year ago. 9 weeks later I still have no resolution to my questions or the pain that I experience on a daily basis. If you can find responsive care outside of this practice or any of its sister locations I highly recommend it at this point.

I waited before writing this to see the lasting effects versus the immediate results. I found right after SGB I felt great and more relaxed. The anxiety I had was almost gone. It was surreal to think I could feel that good again. As time has gone on the effects have lessened however my anxiety is still normal and I am nowhere near as hypervigilant as I was before the treatment. WOW... I ran into First Call Medical Center in Gambrlls MD on Saturday with a cough so deep my…read morelungs felt like they collapsed. I met with a "doctor" who listened to my lungs, recognized that my cough was horrible and didn't even test me for Strep, Bronchitis or anything. Just told me to take over the counter cough syrup. After getting upset he asked what was I expecting.. I said at least a cough syrup with codeine and an inhaler. Much to his dismay he gave me the Prescription. Fast forward two days and I'm much worse, in fact I do have an upper respiratory infection along with Bronchitis. This visit cost me $50.00 and what a joke! I could have gone to CVS myself and bought over the counter cough syrup. If you are feeling sick do yourself a favor and go straight to the emergency room instead of this place. I'm quite upset at the level of care this "doctor" gave me. They should be ashamed of themselves for taking peoples money with such minimal care. DO NOT GO TO THIS FACILITY unless you have money to blow.
