Unfortunately, the overall experience -- and especially how the situation was handled by the owner -- was very disappointing. After my spray tan appointment (2/26), my hands and elbows developed significant orange discoloration and looked extremely splotchy. Before the appointment I specifically expressed concerns about transfer, since I had an upcoming bridal event, and I was reassured that with the clear solution there would be no transfer after the first rinse. However, two days later -- after completing four rinses and carefully following all aftercare instructions -- the tan transferred badly onto a brand new white dress that cost nearly $300, leaving visible stains that now require professional dry cleaning. This was incredibly upsetting and stressful, especially since I purchased a package of four sessions specifically to prepare for my wedding. Because of the poor results and the damage to my dress, I no longer felt comfortable continuing with the remaining appointments. The owner only refunded the unused portion of the package and never felt the need to reach out directly to me to apologize for the experience. Given the circumstances and the damage caused, I felt a full refund would have been the appropriate and fair resolution, but that was not offered. I want other brides to be aware that there is a real risk your tan could transfer and stain your beautiful expensive wedding dress -- even days later and after multiple rinses. For something as important as your wedding, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for spray tanning services.
