I spent over a year trying to get an appointment with the Dr Macasieb as did friends & people I referred to him, the staff said they scheduled me to see him but, I was always pawned off to an NP, PA or other Dr.. no one was checking my medical history or testing my lithium levels or kidney functions as is required for a prescription Dr Macasieb prescribed. One time I was there Heather Gonzalez had performed a breathing test and when the results were negative I could clearly hear her and other staff in the hallway talking and laughing about my results. I was later discharged from his office because my boyfriend went to try and get me an appointment because I was very ill & got upset when they refused. I went to a new doctor and found I was nearly in renal failure due to Dr Macasieb's lack of supervision of his staff & staff incompetence. Also after he discharged me his practice his wife's business was put under his name and changed to Vivasol. Dr Macasieb transferred all of my contact information to Reshape and Vivasol who keep texting me. 1. My information should not be sent to another business and seems to me to be a violation of HIPAA. 2. My information should not be being discussed loudly in the hallway for everyone to hear. 3. Staff refused to let me speak with Dr Macasieb concerning the matters so now it's out there for the world to see. 4. After discharging me and nearly putting me into renal failure due to incompetence why would I ever want to ever let you treat me again! I do not and will not recommend Trinity Healthcare or Dr Macasieb to anyone! And I will post this review on every site I can find to protect others from what I went thru.

Our first visit to Suburban Pediatrics was great. The receptionist was quick with the paperwork. They have two waiting areas for the little ones; one for sick patients and another for well patients. Each room has an activity table and a television pumping out kid-friendly shows. The fish tank that separates the rooms is my little guy's favorite feature! We were taken back to the rooms, all of which have different themes. Each room has a wall painted with old-school chalkboard paint for the kids to go crazy on while waiting to see the doctor. The wait wasn't long at all! We've seen 3 different doctors here so far, and each one was awesome. Their bedside manner with kids is superlative. My little one likes to squirm worse than a worm on hook, but the doctors were quite engaging and he actually stayed still enough for a complete check (...and the doctors won't share their secrets!!!) They are also part of the CMC network, so patient info can be accessed from other affiliates as needed. All around, one of the finest doctor's offices I've been to, and it's even better that it's for the important little people in our lives.

As a really bored and unburdened mother of three sons under the age of six, I figured I needed to…read moretake up a new hobby. Lobbying for my childrens' health and fighting with insurance companies peeked my interest, so I decided to visit South Lake Pediatrics for my kids' care. Prior to school starting, I took my ingoing kindergartner in for his mandated well-check. They took his height and weight, said he looked good, and apparently performed brain surgery while I changed his brother's diaper. Despite having insurance, we have received several bills in the mail, totaling upwards of $1400. For a well-check. Former President Obama must be shaking his head at this one. Two more well-checks, that for a three-year-old and for a baby, add another $1500 to our bill. Will SLP or Carolinas Health Care help? Nope. So, on I go. Now onto the lack of empathy and care... eh-hem. My (now) ten-month-old has been suffering from congestion, colds, green snot, and ear infections since he was just a few months old. He's always snored like a bulldog, and had an awful latch and suck (both nursing and bottle feeding). Dismissed as if this were my first rodeo and I was a complete clown, the doctorS (yes, I've seen at least three for these issues) sent me on to the pharmacy to bandaid the issue. Having half a brain and two older children, I came to my non-medical-degree-holding conclusion that maybe an ENT issue was involved. So I asked for a referral. Once. Twice. Three times. At the office, over the phone, via prayer, carrier pigeons, etc. Nothing happened. So, I call our insurance carrier and they approved our visit to an ENT. And, guess what. I am a flipping genius. My child has HUGE adenoids, another ear infection (the prescription no longer works on him) so he needs tubes put in, AND the ENT figured out that he has reflux. Now, we wait for almost a month to get surgery for our wee lad, who has been basically miserable for the better part of his life. So, as surgery approaches, I think I'll take up a new hobby like underwater basketweaving, as my time dealing with SLP and Carolinas is done. I left a message for the practice manager letting her know what happened, and I asked for a call back.... which never happened. Peace out.

Staff is not helpful and I don't trust their advice given regarding allergies. I wish the doctor would have spent some time discussing these options. Will likely go somewhere else.
