It was able to identify my design preferences by showing different living rooms and asking which ones were to my liking. In addition, its questions served as a great preparation for the home visit, so Stephanie came well prepared for our meeting. Stephanie was very creative, professional, and helpful throughout the process. When she visited my place, we decided on a design together, in an efficient process, where she was able to translate my needs and preferences to interior design decisions and furniture choices. After two weeks, she assembled a furniture shopping list, within the budget I requested. I purchased all items she suggested. The furniture items were sourced from many furniture stores and I felt she did an excellent job finding items that were beautiful, fit the overall design, and reasonably priced. I get nothing but compliments about my place (even from my Architect friend who is quite stingy with design related complements...). Well done Stephanie! As to the cost-effectiveness of the service - had I done this process myself (even with friends help), I would have surely spent more time, more money, getting worse results. I would not recommend TapeMeasure. I had pillows made and had a chair reupholstered. There were…read moremistakes every step of the way, and no apologies or price adjustments. This business is over-priced and will give you only frustration. I was gaslit every time I questioned the results: Estimate: In the estimate, TapeMeasure mixed up the fabrics I had selected for two different pillow sizes. Luckily I caught the mistake before the fabrics were ordered. Pillows: I gave measurements and TapeMeasure ordered the fabric. Just prior to finalizing two of four pillows, I was told they did not have enough fabric for my requested pillow size, but they would be close to my request. When I picked up the pillows, they were much smaller. TapeMeasure said nothing about the size --in fact, when I picked them up, they said they looked fine. When I got home, I measured and called to tell them they were much smaller and finally, after sending a photo, they agreed to remake the pillows. Each time, I had to drive 45 minutes round trip to pick up and exchange the pillows. No apologies from TapeMeasure. Chair Reupholstering: I provided my expensive fabric, including an extra yard, photos and a confirmation email to be sure TapeMeaure applied the fabric in the proper direction. TapeMeasure also charges a premium for using customers' own fabric. Upon picking up my chair, I discovered the fabric was set upside down. To fix the issue, they used my extra yard of fabric with no price adjustment and no apologies for my time, inconvenience or the yard of my fabric that they used to fix their mistake! All along the way, they made me feel I was being picky or was flat-out wrong. Awful experience!

When I pointed out the problems, she insisted via text that nothing was wrong. I had to push her to come in person, and when she finally did, she admitted the shades were indeed wrong. Unfortunately, the next set of shades came in with the exact same problems -- poor quality and not as promised. When I tried contacting her, she was again nasty and unprofessional. She even came to my home and was shockingly disrespectful to both me and my mother before storming out without even saying goodbye. Angela claimed she would reorder the shades and claimed that this had never happened before, but the following set also came in damaged and unusable (at this point 3rd round of shades that were horrible quality, damaged, etc). At that point, we demanded that she remove all the shades from our home. After weeks of fighting with her, we finally got our money back, but it was an exhausting process filled with disrespectful communication and zero accountability on her part. Now, not only were we treated horribly and had our time wasted, but we're also left with holes and chipped paint on our brand-new walls from uninstalling the shades. We are beyond disappointed that Angela was recommended to us. I would strongly caution anyone considering working with her. If you want good quality shades and respectful service, look elsewhere.
