I have never written a review, ever, but this was just awful. I came here a month ago and the woman that did my nails did an amazing job(milae) However, today's experience was the complete opposite. My nails were not only terribly painted, thick, uneven and not even a sub par manicure, but it was painful. The woman was very aggressive grabbing my arms and hands, over filing making my nails very thin. It made me very uncomfortable. I left and sat in my car for a moment and decided to go back in to speak to the manager(also never done that) which was not there and they said they didn't know the managers name? It was odd. The whole appointment lasted about 20 minutes as well, which i ended up being thankful for. I left with sore, ugly fingernails and a lot of disappointment bc i was growing and shaping my nails for my wedding that's in a couple weeks. I could have felt with the pain if my nails looked great after, but that wasn't the case. read more

I went here last night with my sister, daughter and son. It was the best experience! My sister and I both had the deluxe pedicure while my children had the little toes. The deluxe pedicure included so many things.. paraffin wax, hot stones, warm towels and so much more for only $35.00. The little toes was a pedicure and manicure for children for $25.00. They brought each of my children a few pieces of candy and a bottle of water and were very attentive to them. Overall they were very kind and personable. I called ahead of time to make sure they did dipping powder manicure- they said yes. When I got there they only had a handful of colors to choose from and ended up doing the wrong color. I could have stopped that but was curious how far it would go. They obviously had never done a dipping powder manicure before because all the technicians came to see what was being done. It looked ok, I ended up really liking the color even though it wasn't what I ordered, but after a week it's chipping away on several nails. I've had dipping powder for the last year ( from other salons) and never had one chip off at all. They may be good at doing regular manicures but don't go there for dipping powder. read more

WARNING! Do not go here! My sweet almost 70 year old mother was talked in to going to get her first pedicure. She went here and has a toe nail that is shaped funny because it fell off several years ago. The lady doing her nails freaked out and started yelling at her to get out! My sweet Mom was so embarrassed and didn't know what to do. The lady kept yelling no, no, no and telling her to get out! My Mom said she tried to quickly put her shoes and socks back on and left. She said it was the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to her. I'm absolutely disgusted that someone would treat my sweet, shy mother like this! I called 6 times trying to see if we could fix this the right way but the ladies wouldn't let me talk to a manager and they acted like they couldn't understand me as soon as I said there was a problem. Took my daughter for a mani pedi, and I got a mani too, sort of. It was terrible they literally had a teenage boy paint my nails, and he didn't do a very good job! Kept grabbing my hands roughly, put Acetone in the nail polish and they are already chipping and look terrible. If I hadn't done if for my daughter I would have got up and left. He filed my nails crooked, no lotion literally just polished my nails for $25. They seemed disappointed that I didn't want Gel Polish on my nails. It was an awful over priced experience and I won't ever be back. read more

This was THE WORST nail place ever. It was the only place open on Sunday so we gave it a shot. The employees were rude. They contradicted themselves several times on pricing. Their tools and pedicure tubs are absolutely not sanitized. They cut both my daughter and my toes. They burnt my daughters leg with their hot stones. Then when one of the other workers asked what happened to my daughters bleeding foot we said they clipped her. Then they started saying "No! No!" I got up and we walked right out. This use to be my go to place but I will NEVER go here again!! First off appointments dont matter so when they act like they are putting you down when you call in is total BS its first come first serve. I made a 12pm appointmemt and sat there for almost 45min.. 30 of those min my feet were soaking in the water which after about 15/20 min it became cold. I was so disgusted with their sanitation and how they were cleaning things or should I say NOT cleaning things. You would think with COVID going on right now they would be so ontop of everything but they were not Pedicures were seated maybe 2 feet apart from each other there was no 6ft rule . I watched multiple people get up and not one person wiped off the chair before the next sat down. I also watched a handful of guests walk in with masks and then remove them once they were seated and not one worker told them they needed to put the mask back on. You would think with the new enforcement that took place today that masks are MANDATORY they would be more on top of it. Then to top of this horrible experience I paid for a deluxe pedi. My scrub was maybe scrubbed for 30 seconds before removed same with the mask maybe sat for 30 seconds and the massage was maybe 1 minute long she slapped the lotion on me rubbed the rocks up and down once and called it a day. Then to top off everything I asked in the very beginning when I picked my colors if they could do this design which was a super simple leopard print pretty much just polka dots outlined in black with a few black spots... well what I left with looked NOTHING like the picture except for the colors that I picked out!! If you cant do the design that's totally fine but be up front instead of lying and having your guests leave upset I could have picked something else to do. I'm super disappointment I paid $55 for a pedi and extra for an aweful design. If I could give 0 stars i would. Unfortunately this was my last time at this salon. I got the best pedicure of my life at May Nails. I hate to wear shoes, so I have calloused feet. I have never had someone get them so soft and callous free. I was started before 3 others in my party. I decided to get the deluxe so that I could finished when they did and it would take a bit longer. My massage is what I look so forward to and honestly I'm not even sure I got one.. for $35 I should be able to be given a great pedicure and it should take more than 15 minutes. I was so pressured to get in and out of my seat that I was not relaxed at all. It was such a waste of money, not to mention the staff look at you and you know they are speaking about you in another language. I won't be coming back or recommending to anyone. read more

This nail salon is one of the worst I have been to. They hardly talk to you because they're so busy talking in a foreign language to each other. They over-charged me because I wanted my nails rounded. Really? Also, they put the wrong polish on the acrylic nails I got. The nails are soooo thick it's ridiculous. They look like those stick on nails you buy at the grocery store. When I went back in to ask for my money back or have them fixed, they were beyond rude and acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. Don't ever go there. You will be dissatisfied. When we walked in they acted like they didn't want any customers. There was like 5 techs and 3 of us not one customer they were still open 2 hours all nails were off within a week and they looked horrible! went in and got a full set. after about 2-3 days the back end of my nails towards my cuticle started lifting. by day 4 there was major lifting of my nails. i didn't have time to go back till a week later due to work and by that time every nail had started lifting and some really badly. they were rude the entire time we were back in there. and kept saying i needed to be more careful and that it's normal for acrylic to lift after three days. (which is not true) they did fix my nails for free but were not nice about it and didn't do a good job filling. would not recommend for acrylics. i won't be returning. read more

May Nails is extremely rude to new customers. I want to explain the experience that I had with my daughter and niece in May Nails. When we arrived one of the workers greeted us as if we were bothering them. All of us wanted to get our nails done and it was my 8-year-old daughters first time doing a pedicure and she was nervous about it. I told the lady that it was her first time and as soon as she started my daughter flinched and the worker was impatient turned around and said "she doesn't want to do it." She wasn't kind or nice or tried to tell my daughter about how it was going to be but was very impatient. After the remark, immediately she went over to a different person and started working on them. My daughter started crying because she wanted to get her feet done but they refused to do it. No one in May Nails wanted to help her. I would have left but my niece was getting her nails done. My 12-year-old niece was supposed to get a full design on every nail for an upcharge of $5.00 for the design. After they did the flower on one finger, the worker stated that they couldn't do the design on every finger because her fingernails were too short (they did the flower on the pinky and turned out good) and they refused to do the rest. At Checkout, they charged an extra $5.00 for the design even though they didn't do the full design set. After this they demanded a tip. Because of how rude they were to my 8-year-old and to us in general they didn't get a tip. TIPS = To Insure Proper Service. We did NOT get the proper service. I don't know where the good reviews come from (they could have made them up themselves) but my experience in this salon was horrible. I will never go back to them. They lost a customer for life. I would not recommend any person to go to this salon, pick a different one for your sake and others. read more

Buyer beware. Worse nail salon ever. After waiting for over 1 1/2 hours with my feet in cold water, I was able to witness several items reused on different clients without being cleaned. At all. Not even being wiped down. These are dirty feet , people. As a matter of fact, when the clerk finished with my daughter she took her basket of clippers, files ,etc and started with the next client (who somehow was moved ahead of me). I was ok with that. I didn't want them touching my feet. Don't be fooled by the language barrier. These ladies know exactly what's up. When my daughter asked for hotter water, they shut it off. Never once did the clerk try to engage with her. Actually, she glared at her when she asked for a flower to be painted. Why I paid for this terrible service then added a 25% tip , I do not know. My daughter and her friend were dropped off at May Nails for an afternoon of nails on Valentines Day. My daughter had been there multiple times with her grandma. They were told it would be $30 for each girl (they had $71 between the two of them for a tip). While getting their nails done my daughter (13) asked for matte & a stiletto shape. She was never informed the shape would cost more. Her grandma picked her up to find out the total for both girls was $95. The salon held the girls until the full price was paid. When my daughter got home one hand was matte and one hand was shiny (gelled). I called the salon and they gave me different prices as well before I confronted them about my daughters nails. I spoke with Mindy on the phone and when I asked who did my daughters nails she had to ask her own employee what their name was. She gave me the name of Summer. No longer will May Nails be considered as a salon of choice. read more
