They are not big on Doctors, but will come when forced. Have have an ER, urgent care, and clinic. They also have an Long term care skilled rehab center on site as well an professional building that house many specialists. I spent the night here once when I was five years old or so. I swallowed a penny (I was very orally fixated) and it got stuck in my throat. I had to have surgery and then I pooped it out about 2 weeks later. Nice!

She spoke sternly, with an angry expression, and kept repeating that I was "disrespectful," which I took as a cultural quirk.  She is not a native speaker of English but must have taken it when very young. It's the finer points of words she missed. I am not "impatient" (her note). I barely spoke, except to repeatedly request her to repeat her instruction because I could not HEAR her speaking several feet from me, not increasing her volume any that I could detect. I am certainly not "aggressive" (her note) -- a very loaded word. I do get easily annoyed, and that started right off when I asked for a copy of the last exercises and she would not do it. I had hoped for a "bad start, let's move on" ending. She made it known she cracked the door for others to hear, like I'm a threat??? I could barely walk nonstop for 3 minutes in a prior session. Ha!  I should have walked. She disengaged with my exercises, stopped counting reps. She pushed me to go to the 1311 US 302 site. I refused because it is a much more inconvenient bus route to my home. At the end, she dismissed me as a patient, which I do not know whether it was to assert power or to make sure the practice got a payment if I had walked in the first 15 minutes instead.

The Spruce program is tough and can be perceived to be rigid, but what they are doing is in the best interest of their patients. My son was at other facilities in his journey and Spruce was by far the best managed and focused in an industry where it is hard to deliver success, which first must be defined. With that said, I'm sure a program like Spruce will never have a 100% success rate. When you arrive you need to buy into the program and follow their lead as they are the experienced professionals acting in your best interest, trying to help you make progress where progress is not easy. If you're not going to be committed then you're wasting your money and time. My son made huge progress and is now in a vastly better place then he was. We owe this to his consultants and Spruce.

I then had all of my appointments cancelled by them after being sick the following week and calling to let them know because I had been a "no show" even though this wasn't true. They were extremely rude and called me untruthful when I have no reason to lie, I was going based off what I was told. They told me I was "changing my story" and that "Andy would never do that" when my story had not changed at all, I was communicating that it was unfair to have all my appointments cancelled when I was simply following orders. I have been waiting months for this care and to be treated like this is absolutely unacceptable. I have never been treated this badly by healthcare professionals before.

Fanny Allen over all was a pretty good visit. I had to visit for some x-rays on my kidneys. Damn…read morethem stones! Check in was quick. All they needed was my date of birth and name. Then I had to go wait in a waiting room. But I came a little bit early. Within 10-15 minutes they grabbed me and sent me on my way! I then had to change and get ready for the x-rays. After changing they took me into the room and lay me on a table. The team of nurse's and staff all where very respectful and answered all of my questions! Afterwards they send them on over to Urology! The x-rays seemed to have come out good. I ended up with a pretty big kidney stone! Now all we have to do is remove it! Looking forward to that. Over all the visit was quick and painless. What more can I ask for in a doctors office? Zero pain! Yes please!

Most of them are traveling nurses and care assistants. It's not easy working 8 , 12 or 16 hour day. They work so hard to take care of their patients then they come back and do it all over again. I am a hospice RN. I had a patient at this facility who had bone cancer, which is extremely…read morepainful. Had to move the patient out of the facility on an emergency basis because they stole all of her morphine 3 times in 3 days. Yeah, she could not get any pain relief from bone cancer pain because the nurses kept stealing it. The nurses are also well known for drinking on the job so heavily that they pass out in the parking lot.
