I had an issue with a purchase and was not allowed a simple return for even swap or credit and was received rudely by the manager on site. I reached out to corporate over the situation and they ignored both my wife and I after an initial canned response. It breaks my heart to sever my once loyal ties with Thorntons over this station's poor customer policies and treatment. This was not my primary Thorntons, but the complete lack of customer appreciation by this station and the corporation led me to this.

The cashier was very impolite and very unprofessional and giving me a lot of attitude to me and she worked at the middle register. I guess this person does not know how to interact with customers. I am here many times. Regardless if it's my fault or not you do not lash out at a customer you help the customer out. She had very little respect for me I don't know about her attitude was all about. I was trying to be kind with her through all this but she kept getting me more and more upset. She gave me the worst attitude and I did nothing wrong to her I always come to this location and always get great customer service. You should always great to customer and number two you should be professional It is the basics for good customer service and end with some kind of ending for the customer. At this location they have very good management and staff that go above and beyond. We need to be strong and customer service through hard times we are going through right now more than ever. Towed car to Volkswagen dealer. They found contaminated gas in the tank. They had to pump out all gas, clean the tank, replace filters and pump. Just under $1000 to fix the problem. Station owners could not care less and were very rude when I told them! Corporate Exxon Mobil agreed that station owners should have handled the situation MUCH BETTER and agreed with me that they were the cause of the problem. Corporate does not stand behind their product at individual stations which is a joke so incidents like this give Exxon Mobil a bad name however with record profits they could not care less! BEWARE

Have you ever actually looked at the can when you buy from these refrigerated sections at gas stations? They are often caked in dust and grime right on top where you put your mouth, seriously it's disgusting. I always wipe them down anyway, but they keep their storage clean here and that shows a level of care you won't get at other local stations. The down side is how busy this place gets, and how poorly the staff seem to handle it. It's frustrating when a line is so long it's extending into the aisles, people can't browse the items and often cant tell where the line actually ends. To summarize they have a solid selection and prices, they also offer a rewards card I believe, but are dragged down by poor customer service. An extra mention, they have a redbox outside for those looking to rent movies.

The store itself is really great. It always seems bright, clean and has a vast array of fountain drinks and additional syrups, my fave being vanilla. You can dispense individual flavored syrups (vanilla, cherry, etc.) into your fountain soda. Prices for these hover around a dollar depending on the size you choose, pretty typical. As someone else said, the staff is really friendly and jovial. One female clerk recently apologized to me on behalf of another customer for cutting in front of me, which I think was just a communication because I was actually going to get something else; but it's just nice that they notice things like that and care enough to mention it five minutes later, when I was being rung up in a separate line with a different cashier. How nice. :) It just the little things that make a difference sometimes. One of the things I like best is that because of how new and well-lit the last remodel was, I always feel safe. It may sound stupid, but I just feel safer here late nights than at other establishments at the same time of night. Oh, and I THINK this location is 24/7.
