Last month I got into a car crash while backing out from the parking lot. There was a car speeding in the parking garage so I did not see him. When I backed out I scraped a part of his headlight. I immediately stopped. He came out with a cell phone and a camera telling me that he got everything on video. I was confused and nervous, because what kind of person gets out of a car with a camera saying that "everything was on camera?" I immediately thought it was kind of suspicious that someone would do that. Anyway, we exchanged telephone numbers and he said that I should pay him upfront or he would call the police and his insurance company. I told him that that was unnecessary and that I will call my lawyer. After I said that I would get my lawyer, he said, "I will charge you more." After that, he went in his car and drove away. Luckily for me I had the Mazzeo Law Firm to contact after this incident. It was found out that this man had been tricking people in parking garages for a long period of time. Thankfully we found the man and was able to not only fix the scrape on my car but also the time and money spent on bringing this man to justice. During this whole process, the Mazzeo Law Firm helped me tremendously. They went to long lengths to pay for my troubles and my broken headlight. All in all, although I was in a sticky solution I got my money's worth and much more. I had to pay at least $500 dollars to fix the light, but instead I got more money from the lawsuit.
