To do that you have to get people to respond come out give you an estimate do measurements etc. I was having a difficult time getting a call back or a response from local fence guys. I was on the next door app, and saw where tranquility landcrafting was running a special on labor per square foot. There were also some pictures of fences he had completed, and he seemed like the right company for the job. I sent a text to him (and if I'm being honest to three other companies as well) he responded within 15 to 20 minutes and said he could come by and give me an estimate that day. He drove around to the back right away and estimated how much sense we were talking about. He explained to me what the cost of the materials would be, what the cost of labor would be, and we discussed the style offense I wanted. (Which basically was a replica of the fence that has stood the test of time of 40 years) At first, I thought I was only going to replace a section of the fence, because I know fencing can be expensive. Long story short he gave me a very good quote, explained that the style fence I wanted and the materials I wanted were good budget wise. It's wednesday, he arrived early this morning with his partner, Ramiro, and they started working and literally just wrapped up about 20 minutes ago and it's 6:30 at night. I have a sturdy beautiful fence, that opens and closes easily is nice and secure and will stay on the test of time. Plus, he also will be returning some of the materials that weren't needed so my materials will be well under budget. A very fair business man, and we will certainly be using him when we go to replace the other parts of the fence. (Edited to note that the supplies were 150 less than an already great price!) For a very reasonable price - and trust me, I shopped around - they completed the job in just 2 weeks. I imagine it would have been finished earlier but had several days of heavy rain. Of note, Jorge, Aldofo, and irrigation specialist, who's name I missed, worked particularly hard to complete the challenging task. These men were very kind and respectful.
