We hired them to open up the first floor of our Cape Cod, and they completely helped me re-imagine the space taking down several walls to create a true open-concept layout. Along the way they installed new hardwood floors across the entire first floor, redid our shower, replaced both toilets, moved our washer and dryer, and prepped all the groundwork for our kitchen renovation. The craftsmanship throughout was outstanding. The part that really earned our trust is they delivered on what they promised AND THEN SOME! They finished within the estimate they quoted, and they were remarkably fast and efficient without ever cutting corners. Glen and his crew went above and beyond at every turn. His entire team was helpful, friendly, and easy to work with from the first day to the last. The installation of the pavers was not done properly, confirmed by a third party inspector, so our $30K pavers are always wet and discolored. They NEVER dry. The pavers are not sloped properly, trapping moisture in our pavers - in any weather- winter or summer. The work was extremely sloppy, some edges were finished, some were left with bulging concrete. C&D is either incompetent, neglectful, dishonest or all 3. We have reached out to the owner Christ countless times for resolution to no avail. He won't take responsibility for the defective installation, despite it clearly deviating from the manufacturer specifications. 6 months later with no resolution and no reply to our last email on 12/23. Just don't do it, he's not a stand up guy and if you ever have issues - forget about it, you're stuck.

After meeting with Rick and Vincent on at least two occasions we signed a contract with Cusumano Construction on 3/1/19 for complete demolition and renovation of our bathroom. Work was scheduled to begin on April 1, 2019. Only upon us contacting them two days prior to our scheduled start date, did Rick Cusumano text me that they had a schedule problem with their plumber being on vacation and would need to push us off until Monday, April 8th, which we agreed to. We then reached out to Rick Cusumano on Saturday, April 6th to again confirm that we would see them on Monday April 8th. At that point, we received a text from Rick Cusumano that they were cancelling our job because they were too busy to fit us into their schedule. Yet, we had a signed contract with a paid deposit of $1,350 with a start and completion date reflected so, in fact, we were already on their schedule. To add insult to injury, the check I received from Cusumano for return of my deposit on was dated April 3rd so Cusumano had decided to breach our contract on or before April 3rd but failed to notify me until I reached out on April 6th; less than 2 days prior to start of work. According to the terms of the contract agreed to, we purchased all materials including tiles and fixtures totaling over $4,000. Due to breach of contract by Cusumano Construction Co and the fact that we had to go find a new contractor, any overage of material purchased can now no longer be returned for refund. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY!!!!
