When we went to pay for the three of us (myself, wife, and 2yr old daughter) it was $90 to get into the pits. We've been to plenty of tracks before we had a little one and are totally used to how much it is to get into the pits- but didn't expect them to charge full adult price for a toddler who was going to be carried the whole time. Especially when general admission is free for kids under 14. When we asked why it was full price for her- and not maybe half price ($15) we were met with a rude attitude from the woman in the booth. We ended up paying to stay since we drove all that way but we won't be back and we will be sure to forward the info on to all our racer friends and fans.

The racing is action packed with Modifieds and stock cars weekly along with a lot of special classes. Concessions are very good and fairly priced. The track has a lot of history and has been there since the early 1900's; however, the facilities are very modern and recently remodeled. Racing at the Montpelier track is a great experience for any family.

We were hoping to enjoy a fun evening of indoor go karting at a place we'd never been. When we arrived we took some time to look over the price menu, decide what package we wanted and bought Groupons. While Robert was in the bathroom and Michael was sitting at a table near by, Sarah and I approached the counter to sign up and fill out whatever waivers were necessary. I showed my phone to the lady behind the counter, Stephanie, and explained we had bought Groupons and wanted to sign up and pay with them. She immediately FREAKED out. No, I'm not exaggerating... the video is proof in itself. She claimed we owed her money and we had already rode the go karts. She also said WE need to pay for a guy who was on the track at the time who hadn't paid. We repeatedly tried explaining that we were not with the other people, it was just us 4 and that we had not rode any go karts yet. She would not listen. I tried to speak to other workers. They refused to listen. She threw everything that was on the counter at us, called us horrible names repeatedly and even tried to rip Michael's wallet out of his hand! All of this was captured on their surveillance cameras by the way Time passed and the cops never showed up. I ended up calling. We spoke with the officer, told him what was going on and he then spoke with Stephanie and watched the video footage. Meantime the owner also showed up. Turns out Stephanie never called the cops and according to the officer she couldn't keep her story straight (as you can hear in the videos). Although the owner was hesitant, he did apologize. He was very confused by everything going on. I don't blame him. We are all still confused! He offered us a chance to stay and have a good time. We decided not to stay and left peacefully. I am not posting this to bash this business. I am posting this because Stephanie was harassing my friends and I and, honestly, she should feel ashamed!!" This is the best dirt track I've ever been to by far. Inexpensive admission, free parking. For big…read moreraces id recommend buying ahead online, otherwise at the gate is fine. SIT: There isn't a bad seat in the house. I like the reserved concrete spots in turn 4 where you bring your own chair but the spot is yours. Much more comfortable than bleachers. For first timers, as my friend was, guess what, it's a dirt track, so youre going to get dirty! Duh! Glasses recommended (sunglasses will do, some people use work goggles/glasses). EAT: Awesome inexpensive food. Try the pizza burger and the cheese balls. I could live off these every day. Youre allowed to bring a cooler full of anything but alcohol and glass. We brought drinks and dessert. WATCH: You get a lot of racing for the money. So enjoy!

This is a cute putt-putt place. Went around noon on a Wednesday and it was a good amount of people…read morein there. I was shocked there were a heck of a lot of adults there. But, whatever. I took my young kids and they had a blast. The holes aren't very difficult so we got through all 18 in about 15-20 minutes. There was a lot of room between us and the people in front of and behind. Everyone patiently waited their turn for the next hole and we flowed nicely. It looked like there were 2 sides where you could go on, so there were 2 18-hole courses so there would be space for a lot of people. The arcade is like a lower budget Chuck-E-Cheese. Small but seemed like the kids playing the games were having fun. Overall good experience. I took off 1 star because they only served hot dogs with chips and the hot dogs take 15 minutes to cook. Never heard of that! Other than that, it's a cute place for a date or if you want an inexpensive place to take your kids. Kids under 3 are FREE and kids 4-7 are $3, which is excellent. I don't think the go-kart area was open, as there was no one over in that area.
