I have been to several acupuncturists over the years but never had the short and long term results that I have had with Kerry. The massage: I'm only posting this review because this is the first place where THE MASSAGE ACTUALLY WORKS. IT WORKS!!! I don't expect much from massages except temporary relief; this is the first place where the relief lasted beyond the time spent on the table. I don't know how long it'll last but my shoulder still feels a lot better than it did yesterday. I also had a minor wrist sprain which was healing: it was so minor that I could lift a 20 pound weight with no difficulty. He took my wrist in his hand and said "let me show you what you did wrong to hurt your wrist" and proceeded to jam my hand back hard. It hurt really bad. He looked at me in surprise and said, "I didn't mean to do that to you!" and then was at a loss for words, and put my hand down. To cut a long story short: I now cannot type, cannot pick up a *shirt*, and I'm looking at 2 month+ recovery that will require intensive physical therapy. I am even now unable to digest this whole episode and focus on recovery. it doesn't stop there in terms of problems with this doctor: - he charges a "copay" for each visit though my insurance tells me there is no co-pay on site. - when I returned hoping to pick up my x-ray, he of course denied that he had injured me, but was also *nasty*, and had the cheek to ask me to pay for an additional medical visit because "I had used his valuable time" in getting the x-ray from him! Save your body (and your mood and money): do not go to this doctor!

As a result I was in constant pain and discomfort. First I was told that I strained a chest muscle working out in the gym. And then after weeks went by I was then told that it healed and now had random muscle spasms in my back and same spot in the chest. And they were somehow also causing lack of range of motion and pain in my neck. The smallest tasks, movements or events (e,g, coughing/clearing my throat) felt like I was being knifed. Basically I was in agony for a full month. When I went to see Dr. Rob, he accurately diagnosed the source in less than 5 minutes of asking me questions. The source of my issue was 2 ribs out of alignment in the front of my chest. The ribs were causing pain in my front and all over my upper back and neck. While continuing to constantly ask me questions, he re-aligned the ribs. Then rolled me over and went to work on the resulting neck and back issues. Once done he checked the 2 front ribs again and they had moved fallen out of alignment again. He repeated the same process with the front ribs. Then had me roll over again and went to work on the back and neck again. He had to do this 4 different times before the ribs would stay aligned. He then repeatedly did simple things that I have never seen any chiropractor do. The whole time asking me questions no chiropractor has ever asked me in 20 years. After less than a half hour all the underlying issues completely disappeared. 2 weeks later I have no relapse and am still completely pain free with full pain free range of motion. I have never had a medical experience like this before. The disparity between Dr. Rob and the dozen chiropractors I have seen over the last 20 years is flabbergasting. He uses a variety of methodologies to best address what's ailing you. Chronic issues will usually take a more long term approach (after all, it's been screwed up for a long time, it usually takes some time to undo itself!). But I've also had times when I've jacked myself up, got to see Rob immediately and been taken care of and healed in one session. I'm a cheapskate, and constantly broke, but I'll suck it up if I screw myself up big-time and be glad I did. Occasionally I've really jacked myself up and only Rob has been able to fix it.
