Dr. Rob is phenomenal. I have been suffering for three weeks with multiple issues. My current chiropractor misdiagnosed my pain and simply had no idea how to treat me leaving me. As a result I was in constant pain and discomfort. First I was told that I strained a chest muscle working out in the gym. And then after weeks went by I was then told that it healed and now had random muscle spasms in my back and same spot in the chest. And they were somehow also causing lack of range of motion and pain in my neck. The smallest tasks, movements or events (e,g, coughing/clearing my throat) felt like I was being knifed. Basically I was in agony for a full month. When I went to see Dr. Rob, he accurately diagnosed the source in less than 5 minutes of asking me questions. The source of my issue was 2 ribs out of alignment in the front of my chest. The ribs were causing pain in my front and all over my upper back and neck. While continuing to constantly ask me questions, he re-aligned the ribs. Then rolled me over and went to work on the resulting neck and back issues. Once done he checked the 2 front ribs again and they had moved fallen out of alignment again. He repeated the same process with the front ribs. Then had me roll over again and went to work on the back and neck again. He had to do this 4 different times before the ribs would stay aligned. He then repeatedly did simple things that I have never seen any chiropractor do. The whole time asking me questions no chiropractor has ever asked me in 20 years. After less than a half hour all the underlying issues completely disappeared. 2 weeks later I have no relapse and am still completely pain free with full pain free range of motion. I have never had a medical experience like this before. The disparity between Dr. Rob and the dozen chiropractors I have seen over the last 20 years is flabbergasting. NYC- Dr. Rob has arrived! You are all in for a treat! I've seen Rob on and off for years now, and can't recommend him enough. He uses a variety of methodologies to best address what's ailing you. Chronic issues will usually take a more long term approach (after all, it's been screwed up for a long time, it usually takes some time to undo itself!). But I've also had times when I've jacked myself up, got to see Rob immediately and been taken care of and healed in one session. I'm a cheapskate, and constantly broke, but I'll suck it up if I screw myself up big-time and be glad I did. Occasionally I've really jacked myself up and only Rob has been able to fix it. I know I'm gonna be okay when I get an appointment with him, the relief is almost as palatable as the actual fix. Dr. Rob is great and wouldn't excuse me until I experienced less pain than when I entered. I first met Dr. Rob 4 years ago and went to his office, strangely with lower back problems. I'm a rock climber an pretty fit, an never thought back problems would cripple me as bad as this did; I couldn't lift my legs to get into my car. Dr. Rob's bedside manner is great, an eased me through several low-level stretches to identify the soreness in my lower left lumbar region. Within 20 minutes I could touch my toes again and lift my knees toward my chest. I've been seeing Dr. Rob for years, and while I'm jealous of the time he spends on the East Coast - now I have two appointments every other week instead of once a week - folks in New York are lucky to get him. I recently had a problem with sciatica that had me immobile and I was willing to try anything. A couple of friends told me about Rob and I decided to give him a call. My experience with Rob has been amazing. He makes sure to have tangible results at each visit and he is willing to do what it takes to make me feel better when I need him. In the year and a half or so that I've worked with Rob, I managed to go from 5'6 and 3/4 inches tall, to easily clearing 5'7". That's how much my posture and body has changed. It took about six months of inconsistent sessions to realize that unless I committed to long-term body work AND changing my exercise routine (sorry, HIIT, it was great while it lasted), my elbow and hip would never truly heal. I sucked it up, bought a package of sessions, changed to low impact exercise, and stopped wearing crazy shoes. I'm now virtually pain-free. The pain will sometimes kick up if I deviate from any of the above activities, an annoying reminder of how I can never go back to those old habits. But at least now that my mechanics are spot on, the moment something is off, I feel it right away and correct it before it gets worse. I continue to get regular body work (about monthly) because life gets in the way and just one stressful day can really through a wrench in your mechanics. After a car accident left me with daily headaches and Thoracic Outlet Syndrome resulted in a rib removal, I was a friggin' mess. I spent years in pain, in search of the right healer. About a year ago I started experiencing a persistent pain through my shoulder that eventually travelled down my arm and into my hand. I'd seen a number of health practitioners but it only got worse. A few weeks before I was referred to Dr. Rob I'd seen a neurologist who recommended both a high dosage of Naproxen and surgery. Having used different chiropractors for at least 40 years, I know a little bit about what I speak. Seems like every other chiropractor (and most patients) seem to measure their success based on how much "popping" goes on. You get 10 minutes -and then you are shown to the door. Dr. Rob takes a whole different approach -including adjustments and deep tissue massage. He spends time with you and puts you back on the table if you don't get relief. When he's says "unlock your body" - he means it. I have lived most of my life with neck, back and shoulder pain - it's just a state of my being. But my last visit to him left me so relieved of pain - I took the train home only to miss my stop and return back from where I started. I wasn't asleep - I was totally focused on what it felt like to be pain free. I wanted to remember that feeling because I had not had that feeling as far as memory can take me. Dr. Rob is amazing. He has literally fixed painful issues that have been aching for years. He is always asking questions and making sure he is on target. The amazing reviews I got from coworkers and yelp made me try it out and the results were amazing. My achy joints felt like they were replaced with new ones. I was one of those people who was skeptical and nervous about going to a chiropractor until I met Rob. When I first visited his office I had bursitis in my knee from running and thought I had tried everything. Rob had me running again within a couple of weeks. While he was treating that injury, he even found and treated scar tissue from an old injury that I hadn't even told him about. Fast forward some time... I found myself with a should impingement injury that my doctor told me I could treat but would "almost certainly come back". After an unfortunate cardio kickboxing injury, I had limited movement in my left hip joint. Rob was able to get my full range of movement back and has also helped me with neck pain and other issues.
