She explained that to do the job properly it needed to be over 70* and dry as possible. 8 days later the conditions were ideal and they came out to repair. I'm sorry I didn't get the tech's name, he was great and explained the process and why they wanted to wait. How often do you have a company insist on doing the right procedures, and not just do a job. Especially on a vehicle and customer from out of town. I knew these folks were alright when I saw they closed for lunch. Keep in mind I've heard pricing on replacement windshields on these being 4,000-6,000$$$$.

I've heard wild stories about how expensive the repair could be and I was dreading calling anyone. All the recent rain and street flooding that had our meter under water for an extended time caused some soil expansion and thus cracked the pvc pipe. My boss recommended Drain King and they came by and got the leak fixed in under two hours...one of the few reasons to thank soggy soil...it's easier to dig. The fellow fixed the pipe with higher quality parts than were in the ground in the first place and made efforts to keep the housing of the meter off the pipes themselves. All said and done I was ecstatic at the cost of the repair and the thoroughness of the work done. I have found my plumbing company!
