A broken glass in my rv outside window and local rv dealer recommendation sent me to Evins glass. They did respond within about 3 days to cover the hole to prevent rain from coming in. I was advised it could take up to 6 weeks to get the glass in. I was given an estimate which I agreed to though it was high. I advised them that was exactly what time I had remaining in the area-6weeks. I was assured that it usually takes much less. So all was well for me. This is where it goes bad I got a call over a week later by Darrin in the Automotive dept of Evins asking if I still wanted the glass and giving me an estimate. I told him I had already agreed and now I only had about 4 1/2 weeks left. He said it would be ok. I asked for a follow up when it was ordered. He never asked for a deposit which I found odd, he just assured me it would be here in time. Fast forward to 2 weeks before my 'no later then' date. Called Darrin, no answer. Left a message with the operator/front desk guy. I was promised a return call. No call. Waited for two days. Called back, no answer from auto dept., called back again told front desk guy darrin never called me back and wouldn't answer phone. So then he puts me on hold, then sends me back to auto dept and a new guy answers the phone. He says darrin is busy and explained they have no way to find out if my glass would be ready in time. Really??? Again, still no conversation with Darrin who is 'in charge' of auto dept which handles rv glass. Now we are due to leave in a few days and 6 now weeks of my wait was wasted on Evins Glass out of Corpus Christi. So now I will just order the entire replacement window for about the same money and do it myself. Maybe Darrin didn't like time frame restrictions, maybe he's slow to get his orders in, maybe he forgot I got an estimate up front, maybe he doesn't like Rv folks, maybe it's just winter time rvers. Maybe he's just understaffed, maybe... So I don't recommend Evins glass and I still have a hole in my outside glass window. Thanks for inexcusable communications. Windows Compatible! Someone went and smashed their car through my beloved windows! It was the dangest thing- the car bashed up the frames of the window, but didn't break the glass. It looked bad. It didn't take Evins Glass very long to get out to Rockport to check out the work, and get an estimate drawn up. However, it did take a while to get the work scheduled. They had to order a bunch of parts, which were really big, and I guess you can't just pop some stamps on and put in the mailbox. Better communication about timelines would've been appreciated. I'd go weeks without hearing anything. But once they came out, there was a whole team of Evins Glass employees who tackled the project head on, working carefully, and diligently. It took all day, but they got it mostly fixed before they had to come out and finish it. A little communication about the timelines on that would have been appreciated. But the job they did worked out well, and the replacement windows are all in place. read more

I brought my 2014 Cadenza to Evins Glass Service in mid June, 2019 because the windshield has become detached, allowing rainwater to leak into the passenger area. Other well known (big advertisers) auto glass companies in Corpus Christi told me the entire windshield had to be replaced with new glass and would cost up to $600.00 Darren Vera at Evins GS said they would first attempt to remove the glass, replace the adhesive, and put the old glass back, for about $175.00. There was some risk to me that the glass could shatter in the process, but if it was successful I would save several hundred $$. It worked. The final price was exactly the estimate quoted. I was grateful to pay it. In two days my car was ready, and the original glass was reinstalled. I am very satisfied and grateful to Evins Glass for their good advice, prompt service, and excellent work. Yes, I will definitely recommend this company to my friends and family. I previously thought they were only a commercial glass service company and only stopped in while passing by, but now I know they are a full service glass company including windows, shower doors, residential, commercial, and auto glass. we were returning customers because the first time we had a good experience dealing With the technician that was sent out to our house. To make a long story sthey messed up with ordering a part and we were without a permanent window for almost 3 months. I missed three days of work because of mistakes made. Weeks went by with no communication to let us know that they did not have the correct part so there I was calling them leaving messages with people and never getting a return call. I am really disappointed in their customer service being that I paid ahead the full amount of money of the cost of the repair. For a minute I thought they were just going to take my money and not Do the work. I would NOT recommend using Evin's Glass. These guys wasted 6 weeks of my time; sat on $1400 of mine during that time; and they could not maintain communication between themselves, their supplier, and me. For 3 simple panes of glass I was quoted $2800 and 2-4 week delivery. I paid 50% up front, and waited...and waited, and waited. 4 weeks came and I still didn't have my windows. I call them and they claim "their supplier lost the pattern and never let us know". I said, OK, get your guys out to take new patterns and get the windows rushed. I call them a week later to see if my windows are being manufactured and the same guy tells me he "shows that they are in, but does not see them", then I never hear back from him. Another week goes by and I still haven't heard from Evin's Glass, so AGAIN I have to call them. This time, new guy, tells me "our supplier rejected the patterns, because they are PAPER". WHAT?!?! I went to Evins Glass after 3 other glass companies refused to work on my F150 rear (center) power sliding window, I purchased the individual center window on Ebay for $90. Scott Glass, After Hours and Safelite claimed that I needed to buy the entire back window, which has 3 separate sections on the 2009-2014 model F150's. That entire window was going to cost me about $650 on parts plus another $300 for labor. I walked into Evins and the front desk gentleman said they would check it out and get it done. I was there for an hour and ended up paying $120 versus the close to $1,000 that the other 3 companies quoted me for. IF YOUR LOOKING FOR ANY GLASS REPAIR OR INSTALLATION CONTACT EVINS GLASS FIRST. About a month ago, I called to inquire about window tinting. They told me that Megan was the person I needed to speak with but she was out in the field until noon. So, at 12:45pm, I stopped by to speak with Megan but she still had not returned. They took my business card and said they would leave the card and a note for Megan to call me as soon as she returned.
