I had never been to a chiropractor before so I was very apprehensive to the idea of getting my back and neck adjusted by a stranger. However, after my auto accident my pain levels had skyrocketed and I needed help. My girlfriend recommended that I go to McCarron Lake Chiropractic and when I arrived, I was greeted with a smile and a comfortable atmosphere. The staff walked me through the process before anything happened and reassured me that I was in good hands. They offered three different types of therapy (EMS, ISM and Hydro Therapy) and when it came time, muscle rehabilitation with stretches that allowed my muscles to be mobile again. The clinic has also been so helpful with the immense amount of paperwork and headaches that come with auto accidents, injuries, lawyers and bills. As far as the doctors go, both Dr. Dronen and Dr. Smith are excellent practitioners and are very knowledgeable about their craft. They both have their own style when it comes to adjusting and I love getting adjusted by both doctors. Both doctors adjust me with their hands but I noticed that they can also adjust patients with the tables that we lay on. Along with the doctors' adjustments, they have amazing massage therapist that take care the muscle side of things which was actually covered in my auto-insurance policy. I look at it as more ways to getting me better. I've been very pleased with the type of care that I have been receiving from this chiropractic office and I would recommend it to anyone who is in need of pain relief from work injuries to auto accidents. Being active in resistance training, Jillian Michael's exercise classes, and yoga was still no guarantee that a simple move like reaching under a table for a slice of tomato that had fallen was going to cause so much discomfort in my sacrum! For nearly a week, I believed the pain would simply go away! Not true! I read all of the reviews of McCarron Lake Chiropractic and thought I should give them a try. Within a day I had an appointment and within a week's time, my pain and movement was nearly back to normal. The wife wanted to try a chiropractor for her recent neck pain. I called and made an appointment to be seen quickly. The receptionist informed me that there is a charge to be seen not covered by Medicare. After filling out the paperwork, the wife was brought back to be examined. I was then asked to pay $60.00. Shortly after the doctor came out to tell me there was nothing she could do to relieve the wifes discomfort. She suggested that we try another medical clinic called TCO. Off we went TCO and after filling out the paperwork we were brought into an exam room. Once again we were told that there was nothing they could do. The doctor then told me that the charges would be deleted as they could provide no help and suggested we try a spine clinic. McCarron Clinic asked that I call with an update. I complied and proceeded to tell them that zero assistance was provided just as we experienced at McCarron clinic. I mentioned that the charges at TCO were deleted supposing that the same would apply. Very genuine people. Once you come through their doors, you are like family. In 2009, I came to McCarron Lake Chiropractic barely able to walk, stand or lay down. I was in a pretty bad way from an accident. Dr. Dronnen took me in right away and treated me as if I had been coming there for years. She was very honest with me about the care I would need and did her best to get me back healthy as soon as possible. 3-4 months in I was starting to get better and the inevitable happened. another accident. I was injured in an auto accident May 2017. I was treated by several "Health Care Professionals" and after a year I sought out Lake Chiropractor and I am feeling so much better I had daily headaches nerve pain that at times was unbearable many days for months on end I would consume 2400 mg of Ibuprofen. I have been bringing my elderly neighbor to Dr. Dronen for 3+ years on a regular basis. My neighbor has chronic back problems that were not relieved thru other means. Definitely worth the drive! I live in Minneapolis and have gone to 2 other chiropractors which I didn't care for. The doctors are fantastic! The massage therapists are great and super friendly. My whole family comes here. We have had great success here and the Dr's have treated many different issues from, RA symptoms, chronic ear infections with my 4 year old and acid reflux in my infant. I've been going to McCarron Lake Chiropractic for about 6 to 7 years and I love them. It's always a friendly atmostphere and they all seem to care about anyone who walks in the door. I've used both their chiropractic and massage services. I used to get severe and chronic headaches due to stress and the physical demands of my business.
