This park has so much to offer. Soccer and baseball fields, skate park, playground. A nice trail around the park. A pond that attracts aquatic bird wildlife such as ducks, geese. Not too far off the Minuteman biketrail and ice cream in Arlington Heights. There's a hill in the middle of the park that is a great snow sledding spot in the winter! read more

This is why I hate yelpers. They give 1 star when it shouldn't be one star. Yes I understand you're upset about the skateboard park, but McLennen Park is not worth a 1 star review. There is much more to do here than skateboarding. It is an awesome spot to walk, especially the back portion of the park away from 2A ... which is beauitful and parallels a river. Great around fall foliage time as well. You can combine this walk with Whipple hill reservation which is just down the street to the parking area trail head. Overall it is a great park. read more

It's the saddest skate park I've ever seen !!!! It has like 2 ramps the floor is horrible not good for skateboarding! Maybe for bikes it's okey ! The actual park is good very beautiful Not Good For Skateboarding. read more

Arlington recently completely renovated the fields at McClennen, and they are lovely. A playground with a large "spiderweb" for climbing, a play structure, etc. A designated skateboard park, which is wonderful for kids who skateboard (duh!). A baseball diamond and soccer fields. Problems? No restrooms anywhere in the area (residential neighborhood), but more importantly than that ('cause lots of fields don't have restrooms) -- NO SHADE. Very strange to have a field complex with no trees to be seen anywhere. Makes this a 3 season park -- cause in the summer it's unbearably hot. So if you have a soccer or baseball game here bring not only sunscreen but hats for everyone, not just the in- and outfielders... read more

This is a pleasant spot to walk your dog. There is a path that circles the park. It is a sand/gravel path that is easy to walk on - even easy if you have mobility issues. There is plenty of parking. There is a baseball diamond and two soccer fields. The park maintains "off-leash" dog walking hours between 6AM and 9AM. Otherwise most folks keep their dog on the leash. The park is well maintained by the Town of Arlington. There is a creek that runs through the back area of the park where you can observe some of the local wildlife. Very pleasant spot. read more

My kids love this park. Most likely because its the best within walking distance. If you walk over to Whipple Hill trail, there is a house with Lamas. This play ground is nice because it has two structures for younger and older kids right next to each other. read more
