The facilities are nice and they have a separate area for young adults that's apart from the kids which I always think is important. As far as online goes, they are part of the Ohio Digital Library so you get access to everything through Overdrive online, which is great. They seem to have quite a few activities going on all of the time like tutoring from BGSU students for reading for kids, seniors activities, story time for children, etc.

Very impressed with the kids section of this library. The first time I visited, I felt that it was…read moreso cut off from the rest of the library, which I didn't like. But this time, I really enjoyed that the section was completely separate, because it feels more free to be kid-like like there, as the other reviewer mentions. Also I was so happy to see the computer terminals in the kids section for searching for books. Kids can actually search by picture, if they can't yet read. So, for example, a kid can click on a picture of the sun, and then see pictures of the fronts of books about the sun. This is pretty awesome, and I have never seen anything like it before. Staff in the children's section were extremely helpful, and we got lots of pretty awesome books. The section is huge with a huge variety. I also enjoyed the adult section, and got a few books for myself too. Bathroom was very clean, and library was quiet.

Being a self-proclaimed regular reader, I've been to many libraries in my life. Some were small,…read morehad a limited selection of books and DVDs, and reaked of nasty little children. The library I grew up with always had tiny asian kids running around causing a raucus (I was one of them, till age 10). Nevertheless, I was really impressed as I drove up to this beautiful glass building with regal architecture (for Perrysburg, anyhow). There are several dropboxes in the front of the building guided by the driveway. Why leave your car in 19 degree weather? Inside the building, it's clean and well-lit, and the room is lined with plenty of places to sit. Along with plushy chairs, there are neat little booths all around that you can sit in to do some work. The children's section takes up about half the main floor. I haven't ventured in there to claim MY Harry Potter, but it looks impressive and spacey. There are also several computers that are surprisingly not ancient. What surprised me most about this library was it's vast, up-to-date DVD collection. There's no limit on how many DVDs you can check out, and you can hold it for 1 week. You can also check out books for up to 4 weeks, which is pretty amazing. I remember the good old days when books can be borrowed for only 2. I rarely leave with less than the limit of the number of titles that can be checked out. The building and the grounds are really beautiful, with ample parking. I love a branch where the patrons behave themselves! The seating is plentiful inside, with some nice easy chairs scattered throughout. My only wish is that the state of Ohio shifts come funding back to our library system so the hours could improve!

Pete was extremely kind and thoughtful in explaining to me how to proceed. That kind of professionalism is always most appreciated. The librarian at the desk was super friendly, and kind enough to mention some cool things of note, especially after we mentioned we were both librarians who worked with kids!
