My experience with the academy was phenomenal, and I learned drumming a variety of techniques and styles from here, even some more advanced styles such as utilizing a Double Kick. However, teachers can be hit or miss, as there was a short period when my teacher wasn't the greatest, and professional techniques are rarely taught unless you have the right teacher. We decided to extend them to each have one hour once a week and that almost seems like its still not enough. My girls have an excitement towards piano I have never seen in them. They play all the time, learning almost from scratch in a really effective manner, with this brain based method.
