I have been a loyal customer of McCoy Recycling since the day they opened and as of now I will not be coming back since I will be taking my business elsewhere and I recommend everyone else to do the same. I would drive 30-45 minutes out of my way to come here even though there is a recycling center located right behind my business due to previously receiving great service but that is no longer the case. I would of saved money by throwing my recyclables and scrap in the dumpster instead of scrapping them. read more

For a recycling center this place is neat and organized. No issues with really long waiting lines. Parking is no issue either because they have a large parking lot. They are quick and very helpful. I'm so glad I found this place. I used to dread doing my recycling at a different recycling company but now with McCoy's I no longer dread it. read more

They need to have signs indicating that only left turns into the area are for entering into the main area. i was instructed to leave the line into their parking lot after i turned in from the right. oh well, Im going to another recycling center where it makes sense to drive in from left or right. read more

Place is clean and workers are pretty efficient. The place has plenty of visible instructions so one knows how to separate the individual recycling items. FYI: Make sure your recyclables have a CRV label so you get $$ for it. read more

It was nice sunny day and I decided to go recycle some bottles and cans that I had! McCoy Recycling is a very clean recycling center. The staff there was very friendly as well! They also had very easy to digest instructions! Highly recommend this place. Pro-tip: they also have a going rate coupon if you like their Facebook page at the cashier. read more

This place is really organized and they are very much on top of safety and ensuring that customers are protected and following covid guidelines. The parking lot is spacious and I felt pretty secure while I was there. This was my second time coming here and I will be returning. read more

First off im a can saver, I even have a Pneumatic Can Crusher, it crushed cans 100%. So today was the day I would recycle I had 2 good size bins with crushed cans and 5 bags of uncrshed cans. It did rain the day before so there was a some surface rain/water. So as I bagged my uncrused cans I pretty much got rid about 90% of any water that may have filled the cans. So off I go to McCoys, As the attendant was weighing out my can i noticed he would vigorously shake the bins like no other checking for water the 2 crushed bins had no water the other 2 bins some water. I over heard a worked say something about decution the weight. So i asked what are you deducting? he replyed every bin. So I asked how much are you deduting he went through and said 2 lbs for this one 3 lb for this one 1lb for this and 1 lb for this total about 7 lbs. I was was shocked and I said thats about a gallon of water and there is no way that there is a gallon of water in these cans, especaly since the bulk of my weight is crushed. He then argued with and pointing on the gound showing me the water he shook out. the water i saw was about eqilent to a 1/2 glass of water spreaded out. I pointed out that thise 2 bins had zero water. Not much of a reponce out of him except "have a nice day." Keep in mind at $2lb x 7lbs I got ripped off. read more

Almost gave up on redeeming CRV because I hate the experience of waiting in an incredibly smelly place, in hot sun and the slightly chaotic battle with others for bins and a spot in line. My tight budget is the only thing that keeps me going. Until now... This place made it so easy! Never had such a positive experience at a recycling center. I didn't even leave feeling gross!! The customer area is pretty clean (which keeps the smell down, yes!), has a well organized parking lot for cars to park and unload, and so many baskets and bins!!! Plus I really appreciate the signs that mark pretty clear directions (usually when I go to a new recycling place, I awkwardly watch others and copy them). Props for the shade and misters at the customer line-very nice touch for the hot days. Also, this spot has many other services for recycling metals, appliances and such. Quick process!! Very well organized and everything flows smoothly. Staff are very helpful.

This was my first time here so I was a little unsure of their process most places do things a little different. I will say the area was very clean and organized. No broken bottles or trash in the parking area. Like I said it was my first time here so I was not sure of their procedures. I apparently placed my bottles in the wrong container and the guy yelled at me. I am not sure if I will return he could have been more polite about the way that he said things. After going to RePlanet recycling behind Albertson on Miliken and being cheated by 2 different employees there I wouldn't trust them with a dead RAT !! This recycling center is a self serve spot. Be prepared to separate aluminum, glass and plastics. Overall it is a clean establishment but could use a wash station for your hands after separating all the dirty cans.. read more
