This law firm has consistently demonstrated a lack of effective communication and responsiveness. Despite having a case with them for over four years, I have yet to receive any updates. To obtain any information, I have had to repeatedly contact them, only to be met with busy schedules and the need to call multiple times to reach an available representative. I've been trying to get in touch with someone about my case at McCready Law Firm for weeks, and it's been nothing but frustration. I call every day trying to speak to a lawyer, or anyone who can give me a real update on my case, and it's next to impossible to get a response. Communication is clearly not a priority here -- I'm constantly left in the dark, and I don't feel like a valued client at all. I just received a call from my attorney Mandy Grace and I am over the moon right now that my case got resolved and I feel like it's very fair all considering.The phone call started out with great news and the conversation just got better and better as it went on,she worked extremely hard to make sure I received adequate compensation for my injuries, especially my head injury . In a nutshell after my accident I was in too much pain to make a Doctor appointment. The firm withdrew from my case after 10 months. It took 5 months to learn the responsible parties for the uncovered manhole on busy street. At this point, no other attorneys would take my case due to length of time passed. Also, Atty Thomas Conway assured me that the medical treatments I was receiving would all fall away due to circumstances. I am mentally and physically disabled and trusted him. I have severe resulting injuries. Thus far I have received $40000 in medical bills that I have been told I now owe. I just had a heart attack and live on social security. When I tried calling McCready I am not connected to the attorney but told he is unavailable. I cannot believe they did this to me. New laws have now been released that ensure accident victims are compensated. I lost out on that and am now in debt in beyond what I could ever pay. If I could rate zero stars I would after going through all the paint saving details of my case and providing them with my personal health information I was told I would receive a callback same day after not receiving a callback and following up multiple times and leaving voicemails I called a third or fourth time and finally got a hold of somebody only to be told that they don't know why I was not called back but I was on the follow call list and that I have a strong case but they're not taking that type of injury case ( assault ) boo on you for not helping someone in need .... I had a bad fall on the grassy slop when taking my dog out because management wouldn't leave a dry path when an 80 yr old man requested it in order to have a safe way to take out my dog. I fell hurting my knee badly and had it replaced by illinois Bone and Joint. McCready took my case and that's where it ended. Never asked for medical records or eye witnesses who picked me up from the fall. I got 1 call from them the first week after they took my case and that was the end. This firm is one of the worst firm that someone should use for your case. I was done with physical therapy since January 2020. I have called this firm over 100 times regarding the progress of my case. My lawyer, Ray, has not reached out to me but only when he wanted the case. He would call me 7 times a day until i sign with the firm then he went MIA. I asked the secretary and Ricardo to ask him to call me back in December of 2020. Now we are in November 2021 no call and my Case Manager, Ricardo, gives me a lot of inaccurate information about my case that cause my case. A lot of these things were done in bad faith specially on Ricardo part. He lied to me at the beginning when Ray and Him got on a three way call he said that he didn't mean it that way. I should have known not to trust him and the firm to handle my case. YOU DON'T MATTER TO THIS FIRM, SO DON'T USE THEM. Terrible! They say they will represent you, have you see a doctor and start therapy just to out of the blue withdraw from your case without even providing solid proof or evidence as to why. I was hit by a semi truck, the police report clearly states video footage was reviewed by the police and deemed the trucker at fault! But somehow, because the semi trucks insurance company says I'm at fault, you fold and go with that! What type of firm is this? Is it because I still lived and my limbs still work? Because you can't ask for a police report but then basically say the police report is a lie. What benefit does a police have to lie about the events of an accident? Communication was even terrible! I would call and leave a message for Joan and never received calls back. A waste of time and very upsetting that 2-3 weeks was even wasted on this firm when I could have been with someone who will actually assist. Why take on a case you have no intentions on actually doing your job and working on! Hired McCready Law over a year ago. The wasn't able to assist therefore I ask that they no longer represent me. At that time I ask what services they performed if any and if they could send me a. Itemized statement so that I could pay them for services they claim to have performed. Instead sent me a letter stating they apologize for not being able to make a recovery yet they refuse to remove the lien thinking they are going to bully me out of 33% out of future judgements. read more

It took over a year to receive my small settlement of $3k for a parking lot fender bender. Not only was my insurance sued, unbeknownst to be, but I discovered that two weeks prior to the 1 yr deadline that the wrong medical records had been requested and I was unable to receive compensation for one of my two children that was in my vehicle at the time of the accident. To add insult to injury, they not only charged me for medical records for an ambulatory service that never took place , Joan also informed me that they charged a per bill fee of $33.95. SERIOUSLY! Copies of bills are free. The fees for one ER visit and one doctors appointment came to an alarming charge of $405+. That's a whopping 10%+ of my claim in addition to their fee of 33%. Imagine if there were 10 bills. I would have only hired them to pay themselves! So, to make matters even worst; I questioned Joan about these inflated cost and she discovered that they did in fact overcharge me $75.95 and that they would correct this. I in turn have asked for an itemization of these charges because there have been several errors with my claim and she has basically refused to grant my request. THIS IS UTTERLY OUTRAGEOUS! I am hurt and feel violated by a company that I hired. I simultaneously hired them for another claim that I was involved in where I was 6-7 mos pregnant, carried off by ambulance, car was towed away due to it being immobile and received a little of $7k after additional fees. Fast forward 2 years later, I applied for a small personal loan and was denied due to a bill this office failed to pay. I have reached out to the twice and was told that they'd "Look into it."
