You will see several active landfill gas extraction system. This place formerly landfill site. Green speed was acceptable and nice design course but few blind green holes. But This place doesn't have any Hole number sign. Our group of four had a lot of difficulty to find next hole. So confused to play next hole. Very dangerous to play at hole 15 and 16. You must cross the road where cars run fast. Not even a warning sign. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this course to any golfer.

    Excellent conditions

I am really glad I didn't read the reviews prior to booking my round at McCullough ' s I really enjoyed my round at this course. The course is based on mirroring holes from famous courses in the uk/Europe I had no issues with any of the staff, I felt they were very welcoming The conditions were excellent I was hooked up with 2 nice gentlemen Who had played the course before. The course does not have a range There is a putting green available There is a cafe/restaurant My only disappointment was pace of play on the back nine We played the front in 90 minutes The back took over 180 minutes because we were behind some elderly players. Give it a shot if you can play on golf now for less than $50 with a cart

Holy shit. After reading review after review about this same ranger year after year. Playing at pace and on time with no one behind us. the ranger bothered us for 3 straight holes13,14,15) 5 times. after being told off by a guy in my group closer to age..which helped.. he then left us alone. But the course was nice. I'd be back. You just have to be ready to tell a senior citizens to fuck off.. this guys really doesn't have a clue. At 17 we waited on the tee box still with no one behind. I cant play any faster.. and I've never been told to pick it up after many rounds and many years. First time here. I'll give it another year. Too much local golf in the area to be bothered by this jackass.

18th Fairway! Course was in absolutely great shape.

Lot of blind shots, similar to the courses in Ireland and Scotland.

This was opened as a private course but it is now available to the non-members. Although it is no longer member only it is run like a private course. (Which is a good thing) The staff is diligent about maintaining the fairways and greens. Strict adherence to the rules of "ready golf" play is vigorously enforced by the ranger. The starter enforces proper golf attire rules and keeps players moving along on their scheduled tee time so it is advisable to get there early. The driving green practice area is great for early arrivals to warm up. Members that are playing keep a sharp eye out for problems developing on the course. If you are a, throw cooler with 2 six packs in the cart golfer, this is NOT the place for you.

If you're halfway decent, you should find it not too hard to keep it on the short stuff. That's not to say the course is easy. There are plenty of hazards and challenges, strategically placed to challenge you, not frustrate the ever loving shit out of you. There are cart girls and a hotdog hut at the turn. What more can you ask for?! The greens were nicely manicured, but they were extremely firm when we were there (Early June.) Course is long too, so expect your round to take a while if you don't have Bryson Dechambeau swing speeds. The locker room was impressive, and there's a full bar with friendly staff. The only thing keeping it from a 5 star is the same thing; the price. WE played on a guest pass, but I hear that a regular tee time is 3 figures. It's a bit far from me, AND out of my regular day to day price range, but I'd love to play it again some day.

After we went upstairs and enjoyed the buffet we had fish pork and filet with a bunch of other side dishes that were absolutely delicious. There was a little drink station and another bar upstairs. (1) There were bugs (strawberry flies? Never heard of them before) on the first 5-6 holes and the last two. Really annoying. And (2) the clubhouse was a little modern for my liking - but that's just an opinion deal so it's not like I'm gonna rate the place lower for that. We had a wonderful round there and I think any golfer would love this place. If you're able... GO THERE! It will become one of your favorite courses.

We booked a T time the day before. Let me tell you I don't know what happened but today the staff was so rude it was unreal. Staff yelling at you, telling us we had 13 minutes a hole. I mean absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional tone of voice and attitudes. I started to get upset but didn't want to ruin the moment. My wife and daughter were so upset they left. I mean this a rinky dink 9 hole course with terrible greens and grass. Today they were acting like it was a pro match on TV!! Me and my boys finished playing and we were three holes ahead of the next party! Why were they being so rude. Can't believe it and I complained to the manager and they didn't give a shit at all. Will never be back here again. Spend my money elsewhere. Ruined my Father's Day for sure for the way they treated us. So disrespectful.

The seemingly brand new clubhouse has a gorgeous locker room with high vaulted ceilings and a couple beers on tap to loosen your swing! The golf course designed by Coore and Crenshaw flows through the jersey pine barrens with sandy waste areas and near perfect playing conditions. All the tees are in fantastic condition. The hole layout is visible from the tees on pretty much every hole with only a couple hidden hazards out there. Once you've played from the generous fairways to the greens that's where things get challenging. The greens are the main defense here, so many reads have the appearance of movement one way when actually they go the other. This happens throughout the course so don't get discouraged, it happens to everyone. A few rounds and some of the nuisances will get figured out. The staff at hidden creek do everything they can to accommodate your requests. The dining room staff handles their service effortlessly and the food in the restaurant is very good. I never found the hidden creek so kudos to keeping that thing hidden away but the course is a fantastic track that definitely requires a few rounds to grasp the greens but you'll love every moment of every round out there!
