Multiple errors on daily breakfast order let to my trying to assist young Manager(s) with solutions - method of having order leads to error I also attempted similar breakfast orders with Tims to avoid treatment I was getting at McD's - told I could not have any further credits (basically accused of looking for free meals); as they are more conveniently on the side of street I needed traveling to work I returned months later only to be experiencing ongoing errors (average 3 per 7 days per week) Yes $200 in orders each month! 2nd time I went into the restaurant and the same Manager was having difficulties entering order (I believe due to excessive length of nails) as her frustrations increased she stopped and told me I was banned from the restaurant and to leave. This was with a small line behind me - totally embarrassed and peeved I followed up again with next level of Management locally and HQ. All agree mistreatement! This last attempt today after months of boycotting, I had the same error (Egg BLT no bacon winds up with bacon!!) now they blocked my cell number and when I used the landline and explained that error was made gave order number on label, I was asked for my name and then told to hold for a minute - call was then dropped just after telling my name. When I tried to call back it went to fax 1/2 hour later number will not connect. I'm a senior who was genuinely trying to assist the first time with cause of errors (both Tims and McD's) need to have asking for Egg BLT or Egg BELT changed because the cooks just see BLT or BELT and automatically place the bacon on! An assistant Manager at McDs went the extra mile suggesting I ask for an egg on bagel with lettuce and tomatoe and when she rang it in it was even cheaper - don't figure?! When I attempted this during the in person visit the Manager who I have had all the mistreatment and disrespect with could not manage the matter! As a retired Career Counsellor - my message is after all this and with all the young persons looking for work why would a business want to keep such an employee who is costing them on average $27/week in meal credits. All I hear now is over a Billion served - then one old persons business is not worth improving service over. On the contrary 7 days a week at $261/month is $3,141.60/year. Every time I come to this place their either closed line is full of people because they close their inside so early or the food is garbage this McDonald's proves why it's the worst place to get fast food don't ever go to this place unless your hungry for a headache read more

I came in during the lunch rush. Even though it was busy with a steady stream of customers coming in, we were served in a reasonable amount of time. What stood out for me was how friendly the staff was despite how busy it was. The only downside was that the quick service was at the cost of keeping the dining area tidy. It wasn't completely disgusting, but the trash bins were almost overflowing. Food is what you expect from McDonalds; cheap, greasy, tasty (though the taste of guilt after eating your meal is bitter) and of little nutritional value. A good McDonald's location. I would return if I was in the area on a cheat day. read more

For some reason McDonald's staff is unable to read, they can not assemble a hamburger with no cheese. I can not eat processed cheese but every time I order a quarter pounder without cheese, it comes with cheese. Last time I will ever give McDonald's a dime. read more

I had stopped into McDonald's on December 20,2015 to get a meal for my son and I and had indicated the meal deal MIGHTY ANGUS a $61 dollar value Booklet that came in the mail, was looking forward to get something to eat as my son and I where out shopping for Christmas, at the intercom at the drive through after placing the order I had mentioned the coupons from the paper and the lady replied that the coupons will start next week. I find this to be strange as I already had them for a week, but she may be right as when looking to read for the date that it could not be illegibly read without magnification and at that time and current I do not carry a magnifying glass. but it did look like something 2015. I believe that for better service for those with poor eye sight and customers regardless of vision should the advertisement coupons clearly indicate at a larger - font size that a person be able to clearly read. If a person can not legibly read the coupon or ingredients of the product, specially people that may be highly allergic and could have serious and dangerous responses to food products. this may help for future customers and better your business. Went here today on my way home from cultus lake my friend ordered breakfast and I waited for lunch. Both Seperate orders were messed up and wrong they forgot items we ordered and both times I had to say something and wait for them to make it after they tried to tell me I didn't order that item in the first place. I even asked the girl to repeat my order to me because she didn't know how to punch anything into the computer. Horrible slow service. There was a manager behind the desk only managing the drive thru and leaving the front girls on there own who didn't know what they were doing. McDonald's is suppose to be quick and easy this was by far not quick or easy. I'll never go back to this location. read more

American here. I've never experienced a Canadian McDonald's before until a couple days ago. I was impressed with how clean and organized it was. When I told the staff I'd never been to Canada before they were thrilled to greet me and tell me about all the good things they have that America does not offer. They even gave me a free Maple pastry which was absolutely amazing! They were even kind enough to call me a cab because I don't have phone service out there. The assistant manager Ally was super friendly and helpful and I could tell she had a genuine passion for working here which you really don't see ever in American McDonalds. read more

Horrific Management Experience. On Friday night at approximately 7:30pm we came through the Yale Rd drive thru. We ordered three meals and upon retuning home we discovered every burger we ordered was made incorrectly. I called the manager to tell her. She asked if we had a receipt. There was no receipt in the bags or in our vehicle. We were never given one. She went on and on of the importance of the receipt before eventually suggesting I bring everything back in. I got the distinct feeling that I was seriously inconveniencing her with my call. "Okay," I replied but was met with silence on the other end of the line. I looked at my phone and it appeared to still be connected but still, silence. I hung up, gathered my order and returned to the restaurant. When she came to the front end I explained that I had called a few minutes earlier and all our burgers were incorrect. She proceeded to inform me that she had not finished speaking to me on the phone when I had disconnected the call. I apologized to her. She continued, telling me how rude she felt I had been and had some suggestions on how I should appropriately behave from now on. By now several customers and a group of employees had gathered to watch her tirade. Some of which, appeared to be shocked by her disrespectful tone. She lectured me about needing to have someone's name and contact information for the management book. I asked if it was at all possible to get this information now that I was standing before her in person. "Oh yes, I can do that," she replied, "I just want you to know for your future reference not to act like that." I was absolutely stunned at the gall of this woman. A few minutes later she turned her attention to a homeless man who was refilling his cup at the beverage station. She leaned over the counter and began yelling loud enough for everyone in the facility to hear and everyone turned to stare. She yelled and accused the man of stealing and demanded he leave. The manner in which she composed herself yelling and belittling that man was sickening. If I had not just spent my last dollar on buying my kids a "special" dinner, I would have bought that man the biggest meal I could afford. I would have liked to give him my own meal, but it took about fifteen minutes for my order to be replaced, in which time he had already left the property. The manager began laughing to herself as the man turned away to leave. She had a smug, self satisfied grin all over her face. Clearly she was proud of how she had treated this man. Her attitude towards that man and myself was disgusting that night. As a member of McDonalds alumni I am appalled at this woman's attitude. She seems to find herself far superior to everyone around her, including the paying customers and gave the distinct impression that she was completely justified in her immeasurable rudeness. In my opinion, there are several things that could have happened to fix my concerns with my order, A] a simple apology for the incorrect order. B] the inclusion of apple pies for the inconvenience of having to come back and reorder. C] a refund or the promise of a new meal at a later date. None of these measures were taken and she never even bothered to get my name or contact info. In fact, I was the only person who issued an apology that night. The bottom line is the staff made an error in our order, which is understandable from time to time. And all that was accomplished was an attempted humiliation by a member of your management team and the single most offensive customer service experience that I have ever had. In my career with McDonalds I have trained hundreds of employees over my years there, and if anyone ever conducted themselves like "Alex" the manager on Yale Rd, it would call for an immediate suspension or termination. In a perfect world, redemption would come in the form of Alex having to do serve the homeless, helping the less fortunate and perhaps teach this woman the realization that she is in fact not superior to anyone. Maybe she should be publicly shamed as she did to that man and myself. In the years since leaving McDonalds I have praised what I wholeheartedly believed was a superior training structure of customer service. I will no longer be doing that as it is painfully apparent that simple respect for others and manners are particularly absent from the management staff at the Yale Rd location. I am so disappointed by this experience, I don't think myself or any member of my family will return after the way I was treated. I thought McDonalds prided themselves with exceptional customer service as well as caring for the community. Clearly, this is not the case on Yale Rd. When I arrived, there was garbage and debris scattered in front of the only open entrance and it was still there twenty minutes later when I left. Severe disappointment. read more

Window service is okay..but long line ups at the counter for lunch need to be addressed. I have parked, walked in and then left as the service was so slow. read more
