Cookies Grill is the perfect restaurant for Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch or even Dinner. When I looked up its menu on Google, I knew I had to try their food. When I got there on a Monday, the establishment was packed, which says a lot about its thriving business. I got to try the S'More Croffle from their monthly menu and it was incredible. This may just be my favourite breakfast item. This meal came with bacon that was superb and eggs that were consistently good. The coffee was top notch and went great with everything else. Also, the coffee is free if you have it with a breakfast choice. The service was excellent; well-mannered, and they checked on you often. My only problem or nitpick about this restaurant is that it is far from where I live and it is in an obscured part of Chilliwack where you would not think to go. Nonetheless, I would love to come back to Cookies Grill and try their other menu choices. I am very happy for this restaurant's success. read more

After spending a freezing and wet day outside at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve, we needed a warm place to seek refuge and replenishment and found ourselves coming to Cookie's Grill. This place is pretty much a small diner in vibe and offerings, though a very well-lit one at that. Service was friendly and pretty much what you would expect at a diner. I got a nice hot coffee - checked off standard diner coffee off of my list. It was fine and warmed my insides and that's all I could ask for. I ordered the prime rib hash breakfast with shredded potatoes, scrambled eggs, and wheat toast. I was SO EXCITED for all day breakfast, so heck yeah, I was getting breakfast. The food came out pretty quickly and it was delicious. The hollandaise sauce on top of the eggs was delicious. Not overly creamy or overwhelming, it complemented the dish well. I was worried about it being an overwhelming about of food because most breakfast diner dishes I am accustomed to usually are, but this was just enough. The wheat bread was substantial and good-quality bread! I only had one slice and gave the hubby the rest. I had a few tater tots from another plate in our party and those were SO. GOOD. Also, I ended up having a waffle stick which we ordered to take home and holy wow that was good. It's apparently what they're known for and I totally understand why. Stopped at this little hole in the wall after a friend recommended it for brunch as it was 12:30 in the afternoon and the lovely K and I hadn't eaten yet. It was our first experience at Cookies and will most certainly not be our last! From the outside it's not much to look at, but once you step inside it's a different world. Very warm and inviting, and it looks as though a renovation has been completed in the not too distant past. The tables and floor appear to be quite new as is the aged barn board on the walls. We were seated quickly and it become apparent right away that this place runs like a well oiled machine. The menu is pretty extensive for breakfast and lunch, and had some very interesting items tossed in. They have six choices of toast for your breakfast including a delicious cranberry toast. The servers worked very cohesively and were very courteous and helpful with the menu! We ordered our breakfasts, me traditional bacon and eggs and K the brunch skillet. Their breakfasts come with tea or coffee, not extra, they come WITH it! Who does that today? The food came out quickly, piping hot and plentiful. My crispy bacon was exactly that, and count 'em four good sized rashers. K's skillet was delicious and not salty at all, a common issue we find in a lot of places. Finally, the washrooms are also newly done, and looked and most importantly smelled clean clean clean! We will most certainly be back again when out in the Wack! read more

I've been to Cookies Grill twice now and both times the food has been fantastic. There was a bit of a lineup both times I have been there, however, the wait was only around 30 to 40 minutes each time. Despite being so busy the staff were friendly, and didn't try to rush us. I got their classic two egg breakfast with maple sausages, and a side of tater tots. The maple sausages were so perfectly cooked with a crispy outside and juicy filling. The tater Tots were . Super crispy without feeling greasy in the mouth. My partner's breakfast bowl looked amazing as well, he said it exceeded his expectations. We were searching online for a highly recommended breakfast place and Cookies came up. We were staying at the Cultus Lake Thousand Trails RV Park so this was about 30 min away. Not too bad but there were closer places. It's located in somewhat of an industrial area and I missed it the first time by. The outside seating looks nice and there were heaters in there. Didn't need them on this July day, but, most of the year I can see them being really nice. The inside was clean and we were seated right away on a Sunday morning. It wasn't empty, just later in the morning. The Wifi wasn't too good but kept us off our data plan. We started with coffee and a couple sides: The French Toast Sticks and the Potato and Cheddar Perogies. I'm a sucker for perogies and these weren't bad. They were a little over-fried and had some hard edges, but, I'd get them again. The French Toast Sticks are "world famous" and were not on the menu but on a card on the table. So, we got them. We did a hike before breakfast and were pretty hungry! I got the Brunch Scramble even though I wanted the Ploughman. I figured one perogie meal was enough. The skillet was pretty good. I like the Canadian trend of putting hollandaise more than just benedicts. It really ads an interesting flavor. The skillet was great, but, almost had too many veggies and not enough of the meat. Been here a few times for some great brunches and it was a good experience every visit. They had a nice seating area inside and a tented area out front. We had tried a table in both areas and either area was quite comfortable. The staff was friendly and gave us great service every time. If you like a good North American breakfast nicely prepared with fresh ingredients then this is worth a try. read more

I'm thoroughly impressed and it seems many others are as well. Cookie's Grill doesn't look like much. It's an all day breakfast spot in a small parking lot. You could easily miss it, if you weren't using Google maps or something of the sort. Specializing in breakfast/brunch fare, Cookie's Grill is doing everything right. Nice portions with fresh ingredients in a place that smells like freshly brewed coffee. I got the classic Eggs Benedict with extra crispy shredded hashbrowns. It came out looking pretty and the shredded hashbrowns were indeed nice and crispy. The hollandaise sauce was a bit tart for me, but it worked really well with the perfectly soft poached egg. I would definitely order it again on a future visit. Expect a lineup if you're getting there for brunch. You'll have to wait for the breakfast folks to finish up. read more

Cookies Grill is tucked away along the industrial area of Chilliwack. The restaurant itself is super cozy inside and you can seat yourself where there is an open table. We came around 11AM and most of the tables were full. We decided to try three different items off the menu because we were super hungry. We got the Baja skillet with a side of french toast, the beef dip and also, the BBQ bacon cheddar prime rib burger with onion rings. My favorite dish out of all three was the prime rib burger - the patty itself was super juicy and the made in house onion sticks give the burger a nice crunchy texture. My second favourite was the beef dip - it was a huge sandwich stuffed with roast beef. Super tasty! Will definitely be back again when I am in the Fraser Valley. read more

Always great food and service is good. Ambiance is rustic. Tables are a little swishy. I feel they are trying to get as many tables in a small space which kind of takes away from personal space. My wife and I come here at least once every other weekend. It is our goto brunch place. We have both tried a number of different things, and we've never had a bad meal. The service is great. My wife likes to get the stuffed french toast. I always try something new, but I always get a side of the waffle sticks because i'm fat. The pricing is more than reasonable for the meal you get, and the coffee is great. They've also partnered with Old Yale Brewing, and support a local ice cream company as well. The only thing to be aware of, is that there's only 15 or so tables. You never have to wait to long, but there's never usually more than a few empty tables in slow times. read more

We decided to go to the Othello Tunnels and stopped here for lunch beforehand. Based on other reviews, it seemed promising so we decided to try it. Call me a brunch snob, but the food wasn't as memorable. It tasted fine, but nothing out of the ordinary. The service was quite slow as well, maybe because they were busy and it was a weekend. This is my first time coming out to chilliwack and I decided to stop by this restaurant before I left the city. It was located close to highway 1, and it's the corner shop among some business shops. Due to its location, you would not expect to find something like that there. When I walked in, it was busy and it had a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Everyone seemed to be having a good time and the waiters were really friendly. We were quickly given a seat and ordered some drinks right away. I found it odd that a diner style restaurant had alcohol on the menu, which was really cool! I got the big bold restaurant and it was delicious. I got the waffle sticks with them. The portion was really good for the price. I had some leftovers after my meal. The waffle sticks were also sooo good and I regretted not leaving more space in my belly to finish them! Highly recommend trying it if you get the chance. Visiting my friend sandra and Chilliwack and although I am trying to eat a little healthier sometimes you just gotta let loose. My perused yelp and a few other sites for a brunch place this morning. It came down to Cookie's having photos on their yelp reviews and the other place did not. family oriented, very basic decor and the friendliest staff I have seen in a long time. And I asked the waitress for help with my order as I often do and she gave me some really good guidance like ordering sourdough toast instead of whole wheat. Sandra ordered the cornflakes crusted french toast. I'm not a french toast fan but she can't stop raving about it. It normally comes with whipped cream but she ordered it without. I decided on the sausage lovers skillet and it was perfect. Different sausages pan fried with onions and topped with cheese tossed in with some "chunky" hash browns. Topped with your choice of eggs - I went for my favourite poached and they were cooked perfectly! Bonus! My only criticism is that the potatoes could have been cooked with some fresh herbs. But that may be because I saw Jamie Oliver cooking with rosemary just before I left the house. Really satisfying and tons of food for a decent price. I think we were around $30 for the two of us. We came to cookies grill up in Canada after crossing the border am getting hungry. The poutine was good there could've been a bit more cheese curds and Morgan crunchiness and the fries I don't like lip fries. I think I had a burger or some kind of like a part roast or something it's now been almost a month ago but in general is pretty good. Basic reasons that I'm not giving five stars is the fries were just limped the poutine needs a lot more cheese curds and the menu seems pretty basic like the copy to Wendy's or at Denny's or at Sherries or something and they just added some basil. This place couldn't really pop until they get some good cooks and there that can really garnished some dishes really gives some flavor and make the dish pop and the presentation was lacking. read more

We often have breakfast at Cookies. We were there yesterday for breakfast and sadly there have been a number of changes that have made Cookies not as good as it once was. It is still very busy and hectic. There seemed to be a number of new wait staff and we found the service to be not as good as it usually is. Although the staff before were also very busy they were always very cheerful and pleasant. Our waitress was okay but certainly not as good as we've had on most other visits. The menu has changed and they have removed a number of dishes that I really enjoyed. So many of the dishes seem to have too much food and are way larger dishes than I generally enjoy (and breakfast dishes do not reheat well). I also found the quality to not be good as I'm used to. Another minor issue for us is that they no longer have the newspaper. I used to enjoy reading the paper before breakfast. I don't think we'll come back as we really don't like the changes that have been made. I wonder if Cookies is under new management. read more

We visited Cookies on a Sunday afternoon about an hour and a half before closing. We waited about 20 minutes as the lineup was quite long. Service was friendly. And despite how crowded the restaurant appears (tables are crammed in there), we didn't find it overly awkward being in such close quarters as other guests. I ordered the Nutella and banana French toast (Cracker Jack?). It was amazing! Very sweet, but with some subbed in cubed hash browns (for fresh fruit) and a side of reasonably priced delicious bacon (2 or 4 pcs), it was absolutely perfect. The husband reluctantly (that's another story) ordered the Pulled Pork Benedict and was super happy that he did. The wait for the food was short and we got complimentary coffee!!! That's awesome! this is definitely a hidden gem. my boyfriend and i came in tonight and had the pot roast and beef dip. both are the best we've ever had and the best comfort food! our server Bella was super attentive, considerate and the sweetest! we will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others! food also came out quickly and was hot! no salt and pepper needed at all. we will be coming from mission to eat here whenever we can. read more
