The service at this McDonald's is extremely slow, and the overall management of the restaurant appears very poor. The manager clearly does not care about the appearance of either herself or the business. They are constantly out of food items, and the restrooms were absolutely horrendous. Walking into a crowded lobby and hearing the manager screaming, "Where are the f**king fries?" was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I stopped for a hot & spicy and a coke on my roadtrip and received both. I always do the kiosk at any McDonald's if not order ahead, the less interaction at mcds the easier it usually is. The place looked clean, the rr has the air dryers which was good, less paper waste. read more

I wish I could leave negative stars. The place was DISGUSTING. Food all over the floor, all tables were gross, toilet paper in the bathroom was on the floor, no paper towels... worst of all we waited 40 minutes for our food and the order was wrong. We went back up to the counter to see if they could fix it and the guy just looked at us and kept on playing on his phone grinning. All of the employees were messing around and laughing at all of the customers that were waiting. One man was waiting 30 minutes for a Strawberry milkshake only to be told that they didn't have strawberry! The guy working with the cross tattoo on his neck was extremely rude to the poor man and was mocking him in the back to his coworkers. He was cussing and yelling at him as well. The service was awful! The whole restaurant was filthy and no one in the front taking orders. The employee that finally took our order was so rude. They didn't have any drinks, but still charged us for drinks. They finally made tea and were serving it from the floor. We waited over an hour and when we got our food we didn't get everything. Waited another 30 minutes for two McChickens. When my husband went to let them know about the missing food the employee cussed him, my granddaughter and my grandson out. Grabbed her backpack and left the store still cussing my family and all the customers waiting. This was absolutely the worst experience at a McDonalds ever! Zero out of 10. While passing through town, my wife went inside to get a Dr. Pepper, that's it. When she came back to our vehicle without a drink I asked why, and she said staff was too busy talking about probation stuff. So I went inside to order one. After using the restroom, which was beyond filthy, I noticed the staff (4-5) were huddled at the drive through window. I stood in line for about a minute when a couple behind be got tired of waiting and walked to the kiosk to start ordering. I asked them if that was the only way to order and she said she didn't know. Finally, one of the staff members came up to the counter, not to greet me, but to drop off current customers' orders. I asked if the kiosk was the only way to order food right now? She said, "Well, we're busy...backed up...lot's of orders right now." It was about 8pm. There were 3 people at 2 tables inside the store. I will say they were busy when we visited but the restroom had paper towels piled high above the trash can spilling into the floor. I didn't notice any of the following until after we ordered our food but I would have walked out immediately. The dining room tables were filthy, mystery glob of goo was on the wall in a couple of different places. Then to top it off, after we had already started eating I went and got our drinks and noticed there was very old, dried, caked on, orange substance on the soda machine on at least 3/4 of the machine. This was not orange soda so I'm not too sure what it could have possibly been. I also witnessed an employee that was not in uniform, ask the manager if she needed help, which was very sweet, and the manager said yes and the employee then said, I'm not in uniform, is that ok and she, the manager said it was fine and didn't care at all. The kid had flip flops on. So disgusted in this restaurant. I get it's fast food but by the looks of the trash can in the restroom, they may not have even cleaned since the previous day. Came to this location due to its close proximity to the Best Western where my family and I were staying. Not being from here, I always check online reviews but since my kids were wanting a Happy Meal I decided to go ahead and treat them to one of their favorites. Rebecca at the register was friendly and professional. Our food came out nice a fresh, well prepared and when the fries are always properly made it makes the meal that much better. Maggie the young gal and I had a quick conversation while picking up my order, and she is such a GEM. You could tell she was a hard worker, going about the dining area cleaning tables and checking on the guests. The only complaint I would have is that there were just way too many flies, which I why I didn't give all 5 stars. read more

Surly staff member just dropped tray on afore mentioned dirty table without a hello, or enjoy your meal; just a serving of suppressed rage from her crappy life. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER in Brady TX!! Finally got to the speaker in the drive thru to be told she, the order taker, was behind and needed to catch up on orders. There were 5 cars behind us and we had already been waiting 10 minutes in line. They have a 2nd drive thru which had no vehicle/customer in for the SEVERAL minutes we waited on the lady to catch up on orders. A car, no, 2 cars drive into 2nd order placing spot... While we wait the McDonald's employee takes TWO orders from the 2nd drive thru completely ignoring our order and all the vehicles that were in line before a single vehicle pulled into the 2nd drive-thru. Let me tell you what. These kiddos did right. I had a double blowout on my rv and came into town after the lobby was closed. It was drive through only. I walked up and a young man who works for McDonald's was outside. I explained my situation and that I had large rv and had been working on blowouts for the last few hours. I was really hungry and really wanted McDonald's. He asked what I wanted. I told him and gave him a 20. Young lady put my order in and brought me change outside. Customer service 101 - fantastic; thank you! We pulled in for lunch, found the lobby closed because of Covid, but we couldn't drive thru because we were in a large RV. The manager was outside and explained that the lobby was closed and was very apologetic. When he found out why we couldn't do drive-thru he whipped out a pen and wrote the order on his hand, went in and filled it! Talk about service above and beyond! We stop at this location almost every time we go from Austin to San Angelo (Go Rams). It's a convenient spot to get off the highway and back on after. The restrooms have come in handy more than a few times. We also tend to get snack hungry during the trip and it's hard to beat some mcnuggets, fries and a coke. We've tried the fancy coffee drinks and not only were theygood, but they are more reasonably priced than a fancy coffee shop. This is a convenient location and the food has been consistent in my experience. read more

Just stopped in McDonald's to eat lunch. The tables were not cleaned off and there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. When I tried to get ketchup out of the dispenser, it was empty. Tina, The manager, was walking by and I said, "Ma'am, you are out of ketchup in your dispenser." She very rudely replied, "Well, MA'AM, THAT is why we have ketchup packets!" Has really improved in my opinion after the remodel. The new order kiosk took a bit to get used to, but it does speed up the order process and they will bring your meal directly to your table (using table tent). Since I live here, I frequent this location a lot. read more

I never go to McDonald's, so when I walked into this one and saw they had these new order screens I was confused and just wanted to look it over and make sure I was doing it right. A lady offered to help, but I said "thank you, but I just want a second to look at it." And she then proceeds to say "fine. I don't like dealing with rude people anyways" and storms back behind the counter and proceeds to complain about me where I can hear her. I'm not pretending I expect 5 star service and treatment at McDonalds, but at least a little professionalism would have been nice. read more
