Excellent breakfast in the middle of nowhere. If we hadn't seen the episode of The Day Tripper that featured Jacoby's we would have never known about it. I had the ham and cheese omelette, hash browns and toast. Salsa is fresh and made in house. The Mr has The Cowboy": Three eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. Next time we're traveling through we will stop for lunch and try a burger or steak. They raise their own beef.

Been driving past here for decades and finally made a point to stop in! Onion rings were the highlight of our lunch, a was everything else really. Stuffed hamburger steak was delish!!

Had an incredible lunch today and had a great visit with owner of this family-owned and operated restaurant. All had cheese burgers with fried okra, onions and hand cut fries. Beef is incredible quality. The Jacoby family raises cattle, and the Feed that goes into the beef. Owner is vertically integrated and meticulously monitors entire process of meat from calf to table. And it shows. And all is prepared and served by people who are truly enjoying themselves. What a joyful experience. PS- don't miss out on the feed store behind the restaurant. Had three different types of baby chicks for your kids entertainment!

Don't miss Jacoby's. Good food, nice people, clean as a pin. Definitely worth a very short road off the highway between Brady and Eden.

Best burger and strawberry cake in TX. We drove all the way from Austin to enjoy this family cafe. The music was worth the drive alone.

The staff was warm and friendly from the moment I walked in.I ordered the pork chops--they were tender, juicy, and finished with a wonderful hint of honey. The meal came complete with a side of potatoes, a fresh side salad, and a warm biscuit. It was so good I completely cleaned my plate!Prices are very reasonable, and there is plenty of easy parking available right outside. Saw a lot of bragging about the burger and decided to challenge that lol we parked and were walking up to the door and were immediately greeted. Even opened the door for us. We were asked if it was our first time and when we said yes we got the run down on the specials and how the drinks work. Everyone was super nice and attentive. Our waiter was on point. We felt so welcome. I got a cheeseburger double, my son got a hamburger and his mom got a ribeye sandwich they had on special. We all loved every bite. And the basket of hand cut fries topped it off. This food was delicious. So worth the trip. It stayed busy while we were there. And I see why. The atmosphere was very welcoming because the staff was. Seemed like everyone was enjoying themselves just being here. This place is pretty out the way but if I'm ever near Fredericksburg again I'll 100% return.

They aren't fast and as folks trickled in we watched some folks get way too upset at the wait, but good food takes some time. The burger is very good. I had the Cover Burger (featured on the cover of TX Monthly) and added a patty, which they had no issue with, and they even suggested I try their burger challenge if I was REALLY hungry. I may, or may not, have agreed to give it a try some time. Only been once but we swore it was one worth going back to! Oh, sweet potato waffle fries...fan-freaking-tastic.
