This McDonald's has been getting worse every time I come here I don't know if it's the new crew manager or are they just hiring people that can't follow instructions I ordered Mc double combo with a large Coke with no ice. If I could give a 0 star I would. This McDonalds has been horrible since I've lived in Spring Hill(13 almost 14 years). The people who work there are never nice, they always get everything incorrect even if it's a simple ask. It is never clean in there, I can tell the people who work there aren't happy. I have had many time that that have incorrectly prepared my food and then you go back and show them or tell them it's wrong and they don't want to correct it. Now I've seen it all. McDonalds use to pride itself on quality. Today I ordered a fish sandwich. What I got was a chicken patty with tartar sauce. I mean the fish is square and the chicken is football shaped. Everybody knows that. Lord have mercy, I placed an order online for curbside and placed it before 9pm, didn't get my order until 9:24pm. And only because I walked up to the door, which was locked, and for them to tell me that they don't leave the store after 9pm. Ok I can understand that but not when your lobby closes at 10! We come to this McDonald's very often. It's a McDonald's so you know what to expect food wise so our review is mostly based off of everything else! They are usually very busy here but we never wait that long on drive thru line. They get through the line pretty fast, I think the longest we have ever waited was maybe 2.5 minutes. The service is always great. Some people are more enthusiastic then others but we have never encountered a rude employee here. My only complaint is that a few times with happy meals if we requested apples slices for some reason, we got none. If we had received double fries or applesauce in its place it wouldn't be so bad but that usually doesn't happen (I believe once we did get double fries so that was cool). Other than this we enjoy coming to this location and will continue to return here! read more

My only fault.I always go there. I always have a issue . This was my families very last visit .My husband and I wanted a quick drink. Not a long line so we thought. How can they screw that up ? We get up to the second window and they hand us the wrong order. We tell we had two smoothies , they gave us go to parking spot number 2. Ok no biggie . Wow so last week I went to the furthest drive through (there's two here)and after waiting nearly 5mins as countless cars on the opposite side ordered I left due to no response .Tonight I said well let's try this again .So I went to the drive thru closer to the wall .Someone answered right away. I was like yes .. It quickly went down hill. The girl at the pay window had my order all the way wrong . Then when I went to the food window the girl asked me to repeat my order and when I told her a 20pc chicken nugget she kept telling me something about a 6 pc and 4pc ..(that only equals 10) . Then some small lady who had on a stripped shirt was telling the girl to ask me all these questions like did I want sauce , what drink .( because I didn't just order , confirm the screen and retell my order to the chic that took my money )I also had order a meal ,6pc nugget HAppy Meal and a Large fry .I got nervous that something was missing so I pulled back into the long line for drive through and my fries were missing upon checking .The line was not moving at all .So I called the number on receipt . I asked since the drive thru line is too long can they just run it out .After 6 times of repeating I was missing fries and him repeating me I was getting pissed .It's 620 .He explains to pull to pick up spot #2 . This is the part where I'm convinced this kid was under the influence cuz there's no way you can be this clueless .There was a car parked on #2 so I parked next to it and waited .I looked back into the store to see and I saw a tall guy with the same black stripped shirt as the lady at the window jumping up and down like they are watching the super bowl.Now I call back the number and I'm watching inside .A young man with a black hoodie who was running cups and stuff behind the counter answered and i explained that I'm still waiting.He says oh I told you to go to spot #2.I said yeah but umm do u see the other car there ?Not to mention it says curbside so clearly that's what the purpose of that is .So his like oh okay yeah your right.He comes strolling out to the wrong car( after telling him my car was red like 4times ) He walks up to my window ands like you were missing .I was like are you serious? I'm missing my fries .This is not funny or a game . By the time I got my fries it was 640... This was the most disgusting behavior I have ever seen at a McDonald's. This isn't worth my time but this location is on a 1 star streak and it's just too tempting to not add mine. Just go for a record Cortez McDonalds. Its Friday night. Me and my daughter are craving some sugar so we head to McDonald's. After waiting 5 minutes to find out one location was cleaning their Ice Cream machine, we weren't giving up so we came to this location. (I should have read the reviews first. I would have reset my expectations). 2 drive thru lines. No one in line 2 so I went to line 2. More people followed me. Waited as 3 cars went thru line 1. Finally I yelled at the box and no one replied. The guy behind me yelled "they haven't responded yet?" Then laid on his horn. The people of Hernando County tap out very quickly when you start getting constructive with them. When I shared my frustration with the drive thru lady and told her they should put a cone out there in line 2, she offered her manager to me. I said sarcastically "yeah, I should talk to her. The worst McDonald's on the planet. Waited 40, FOURTY! Minutes in the drive through. The managers excuse was that an employee walked out. A second experience I ordered nuggets with bbq sauce, apples and a drink. Instead of saying we're out of bbq they just said "ok" and didn't give it to me along with the apples or a straw for the drink. The staff is always more concerned with talking amongst themselves rather than providing customer service and speed. If you have to stop at this sorry excuse for a McDonald's make sure you have at least 30 minutes to spare, check your food before pulling away and make sure you have a backup plan for your meal because half the time they don't have what you want. read more

i never knew mcdonald's locations vary so greatly. I tried the one on little road near 54 last week, and it was great. very clean, double cheeseburgers delicious. I stopped in the one on cortez the other day; was simply awful. the double cheeseburgers were cold, cheese not melted, and buns were stale. the young man at the counter was rude. when I asked for just water, he said, 'trying to get off cheap, eh?' his schtick wasn't funny. while waiting for my order, a woman approached the counter, about hair in her food. he played that off as a joke too, but finally replaced her sandwich. I left with a bad taste for mcd's; after a very good experience at the other location. stay away from here. get your burger at the one inside the Walmart. read more

Always see people driving off because their drive they is the slowest I have ever seen. Today, I spent several minutes at the ordering speaker and was never acknowledged. I even tried getting someone's attention and still nothing. I finally had to drive up to the open window and ask if anyone there was working. We ordered the food through the app and when my mother and children got to the speaker they told them they had a mobile order and gave them the mobile order number. They were told this was a curbside order and pull into the curbside parking. After waiting 40 minutes for their order I called and a gentleman answer the phone and then a girl got on the phone and told me her name was Sierra and she was the manager. After debating about the mobile order, she finally said to have my mother and children pull back to the drive-through and she would take care of it. When they got to the speaker they were told something totally different and that they did not have a mobile order. They went ahead and ordered their food again and when they got to the first window and asked to speak to Sierra they were told there were no managers or any staff their name is Sierra the only managers were Zoe and Josh. Then they were told the order was being deleted and they needed to get out of line because they were taking up too much time! This was told to a 72-year-old woman with two 11-year-old boys in the car that had been sitting there and dealing with them for over an hour!! They left and went to Chick-fil-A since it was 8:45 PM on a school night by this time. When I called the restaurant back, the so-called manager named Sierra answer the phone and refuse to say her name and asked me what happened Like she had no idea and then hung up!! read more

I don't usually write reviews, but the complete disaster that occurs here on a regular basis compels me to. They shouldn't even get 1 star. I'll start with last Monday 10/26/2015 at 10:15am. I was headed to a doctors appointment in Tampa so I figured I'd stop and get some breakfast. After 20 minutes sitting at the drive through window I finally got my food! Well I should have checked it because they shorted me half my order. So I parked and went inside, well I should have let them keep the $7.00! The place was packed with pissed of customers. When I finally got the attention of what I thought was a manager all she did was stare me down turn around and run to the back and never return. Not a word was spoken by her. And honestly that was the fastest I seen anybody move in that place. Then I got the attention of the cashier and told him that I had already been the for 40 minutes at this point. He finally filled my order and I was out the door knowing that I would go the extra few miles to the restaurant around the corner from now on! That brings me to today. My husband went to grab us some breakfast sandwiches and made the mistake of going to this store. We live 5 miles away and he left an hour and 40 minutes ago and still is not back. Same thing except they now claim biscuits are not on their all day breakfast menu too. I don't know what exactly is going on over there but it's not working out well. I know they have lost my business, but there will be plenty behind me so who cares right? It's very sad that this type of incompetence gets paid more than skilled labor down here. read more

Incredible! I've visited this location repeatedly (I love McDonalds) and I've left before ordering on several different occasions (opting for the Chick-fil-A across the road). It's not uncommon to walk into the lobby and be totally ignored, or wait behind just a few cars and have totally unreasonable wait times (before ordering!) I'd rate the food, but the service is so horrendous at this location, that it's been a long time since I've stayed long enough to even order. To whoever owns this store, either teach your employees about customer service and how to maximize their abilities to fill orders in a fairly timely manner, or stop running a "fast" food restaurant! UPDATE: 6-17-2017 I just thought I would try again (around 2pm on a Saturday) at the drive through. Was told by the the voice at the other end of the intercom that they were closed, and needed to reboot their computer. If, as an individual customer I have this much trouble at this location, they must be terrible.
