Small restaurant not far from the winery I was going to for the evening. When we arrived. It wasn't very busy but soon enough the place filled up. We started with their garlic cheese bread and it was absolutely delicious but so is the sauce. Their red sauce is phenomenal. I can only imagine how good their pizza is. For our mains, my guy had the barbecue ribs and I had the barbecue brisket and we shared them. The brisket was absolutely delicious. The ribs not as much but they were good. They just weren't out of this world. If I'm in this location again I will certainly stop by

Brisket, onion rings and cabbage with bacon, along with grouper bites.

Food was delicious we started with the grouper bites, hand breading and cooked in beef tallow very good. The brisket was delicious. We (my most amazing mother in law) and her favorite son (my husband) had great service, attentive and very helpful with explaining what is good. We sat close to the window, thank you for keeping it bright so our seniors can see, the dining area is clean, with plants for sale in the window. I am going to bring a plant for trading next time we come. We will be coming back for live music.

Club with very little bacon and mayo.

The tea was good.. small portions for the price.. clubs was disappointing. 1 piece of lettuce. Very little mayo. Maybe 1 piece of bacon broken in half. The waitress with short hair took order and never saw her again. No how is everything. No refills celery spark bowl with tuna was small . A cup of rice with some tuna.. Just disappointing. Other waitress with the Ferrari shoes was awesome.

We had the western burger and the burger all the way with sweet potato fries and coleslaw. Everything was tasty and cooked well. The decor is nice and this place is super clean like no dust anywhere which was nice to see. We had a nice lunch here.

This is a cute roadside restaurant with plenty of character. We sat outside at one of the picnic tables which is under a roof. Service was great and the other patrons were very friendly (May partially be because of our puppy on the motorcycle!) The Cuban sandwich was huge and so good! Fries were hot and tasty. Coke products but no Coke Zero. Prices were very reasonable

When finally seated the last slices of cake had gone. The owner assured me there was one more cake being delivered in about 15 minutes, so I sat with my family and we ordered a light lunch. I ordered the Smoked Gouda Cheese Wedges...where has this been all my life?!?! Creamy rich with orange blossom honey, and applewood smoked bacon just a killer combination! The caked showed, and it did not disappoint decadent and sweet, yet balanced by the tangerine citrus. The reason I came didn't disappoint and my family loved it as well. It was truly an awesome cake, so thank you so much! The service was great as well, very attentive on such a busy day, Chantel made it seem we were a priority. The feeling at the Green Door is inviting, while offering sense of exclusive indulgence without being over the top. Thank you everyone who made our first experience one to remember. We will be back!

As frequenters of their Dade City location Green Door on 8th, we were excited to see how this spot compared. I am happy to report that it maintains the same high standard while offering a unique charm of its own. The ambiance was cozy, providing an intimate and welcoming atmosphere that felt special for the holiday. Our server, Delaney, was outstanding. She was attentive, personable, and ensured that her timing was perfect throughout our dining experience. We started our evening with the smoked gouda, one of our favorite appetizers, and a round of their red sangria. The gouda was rich and flavorful, and the sangria was perfectly balanced--a great start to the meal. For our main courses, my wife ordered the shrimp and grits, which was prepared beautifully. My wife reported there was a definite spicy kick to the sauce. I opted for the evening's special, a bison ribeye served with "cowboy butter" and creamy mashed potatoes and smoked brussel sprouts as sides. The bison was cooked to perfection (medium rare), and the smokiness of the sprouts added a fantastic depth to the dish. We were too full to eat dessert at the table, so we took a slice of chocolate cake to-go. Whether you are a regular from Dade City or a Brooksville local, this location is a must-visit.

But when I first visited Harry and the Natives about 6 months ago I realized this place was different. Now, I can honestly say it's a place 'I look forward to' vs. a lot of The Villages food options which are 'places i settle for'. Pricing is fair for the quality you get. The drinks are Tiki inspired and delicious (I highly recommend the Village Dodo) and you can tell they pride themselves of freshness and quality. They have some of the best crab cakes I've ever had, a bit pricey but they are almost 100% crab (almost not binder/filler) and if you know the price of crab these days you'd understand the pricing. For me, a Village Dodo drink, Filet Mignon medium rare 'surf and turf' style with a crab cake, and creamed spinach side served outside with the tiki torches blaring is near perfection in a meal.

She first recommended Seafood Seller in Crystal River but we didn't want to drive that direction since we wanted to check something out in Floral City and Beverly Hills. She then recommended Pudgee's in Floral City so off we went. Located in a nice looking building shared with a market and ice cream/sweets shop, Pudgee's Eatery has ample parking. It was a late lunch but they were doing brisk business. We looked up a huge menu board and my wife opted for the Pudgee Burger Meal Deal ($9.95 + $4.50) and I chose the Big Bison Burger Meal Deal ($14.95 + $4.50). There was a bit of a wait before we got our meal. Good thing they have free WiFi (had to ask for the password) since phone signal strength was lacking. They didn't have Coke products so my wife settled for Diet Pepsi and I had watered-down sweet iced tea. When we got our meal, the fries weren't hot...disappointing. The burgers were well prepared and perhaps worth waiting for. For burgers alone, this is a solid 4 to 4.5...but with Pepsi products and warm, not hot, fries we'd have to bump this down a notch or so. Lunch for 2 came out to just under $43 with tip.
