The two times I have been to this location has been horrific. I thought the first time was a glitch and gave them a 2nd chance to screw me over. First time food was cold. The Second time to customer service was horrible. The joke is on me because I knew better. Unfortunately, I'm one person and they will not miss my money. But I am in control of where I spend my money and this location will NEVER get another nickel of my money since the penny is almost no longer in existence. Save yourself the grief. I went to McDonald's drive-through they had my order all wrong. Had to tell them several times. What I got. Said they would bring you out to me. I waited outside for 20 minutes. No one never came. This McDonalds has the worst service of any McDonalds i have ever been to. I was overcharged and then told "sorry we are to busy to do return." As if i was just going to say ook and pull off. After telling the cashier several times i needed my refund. She finally got a manager to the window that said same. When i finally demanded a refund she said she needed the card I paid on. Well, i paid thru McDonalds app. She said no it shows you paid by card. I then again that i paid through app and did not physically have the card. She repeatedly said i need the card you paid with. Then turned around and tole her coworker that i had the card but would not give it to her bc I wanted cash. She never took a card from me bc I paid with app, but it was like she had never heard of payment with app and never noticed that we never gave her payment bc it was already paid with APP. I evently had to go in and demand a refund of the overcharge. I was told they could give me cash back this one time. So they made a mistake but then i had to go threw all the chaois to get my.money back. Never again will i go to this Mcdonalds. read more

To the upper management at the McDonald's in Carthage, you may need to send "Anna" who says she is a manager back to training - her blatant disregard and disrespect to a paying customer was while I waited over 15 minutes for coffee this morning was a display of unprofessionalism and it has placed a bad mark on her customer service skills, especially if she is in a leadership position. She told me to wait a second then told me to drive around, after waiting with no response, I got out of my car to see what was going on, and she raised her voice to let me know SHE TOLD ME that the coffee was being made.... 20 minutes for coffee to be made during the breakfast hour???? I asked to speak to a manager with whom I could communicate she said she was the manager and that there was no General Manager. She also told me WHATEVER! I take strong offense when businesses dismiss me, when I am SPENDING MY MONEY THERE. I called to get the Owner's name, and was told Robbie something and was hung up on. We went to this McDonald's and service was terrible! We had two orders 1st order was two waters a hamburger and a chz burger. The second order was a spicy chicken meal and two apple pies. We went to the second window got two chz burgers and one water when we mentioned it the the cashier she was polite gave us the water told us to pull now to the third window for the fixed hamburger and 2nd order we waited in the line for 15 mins and got two brick hard old apple pies and cold fries as well as a poorly made sandwich, my mom went in to get things fixed she came back with now hot fries and $1 and some change refund for the two apple pies when the original receipt charged us 2.75 for them so AGAIN she had to go in there for that worst experience we ever had with McDonald's and we don't plan on returning. This location is by far the most disappointing McDonald's I have ever visited. We ordered the CardiB & Offset Meal with an extra Big Mac. The BM was cold with warm lettuce and cold cheese. The other two burgers were rubbery like they had been microwaved. The fries were so bad we didn't even eat them. The apple pie was so old and dry it would have broken a tooth to eat it. The staff are very rude and I am still sick at my stomach this morning! I am not one to complain but this has been my experience every time I come to this location. When I have to get something on the go or in a hurry, I often visit the McDonalds in Carthage. Let's start by saying that I do love the Crispy Chicken sandwich and in my opinion it's the best one you can get anywhere as far as fast food is concerned. Over the years this establishment, like most fast food joints, is run primarily by teenagers so you get what you get. The drive through is often backed up and slow and but occasionally there is a young man there that does a fantastic job running the drive through. He has excellent customer service skills and Is quick, efficient, and friendly. Today I stopped in for my favorite refreshing drink item, a mocha frappe! To my dismay, I was told that the machine was being cleaned. After debating fir a few seconds I decided that I would just leave without ordering anything. My train of thought automatically went to, so you clean your machine in the middle of a business day? I mean I could see if it was first thing in the morning or right before closing. Kind of seems to me like you just didn't want to make me a frappe. You could have at least said the machine is being cleaned and we can have you one in 15 minutes. But no it was just umm the machine is being cleaned. One thing I would love to see management teach these young folks is that it's the little things that go a long way. Go out if your way to make something happen for a customer and it will pay off for you in the long run. read more

If zero stars was an option that's what I would give this McDonald's, not because of the entire store but because of "Alisha" (if that even is her real name, because he was hesitant to give it to me), the manager on duty this morning when I went to pick up my breakfast. Putting aside the fact that even at the end of the dilemma my order was still incorrect, Alisha was one of the rudest managers I have ever come across, she was dismissive and ugly towards me right off the bat and things only got worse as my experience went on. She was loud towards me, kept rolling her eyes and kept bobbing her head around at me like I was the issue and all I wanted was a breakfast. I was fortunate enough to get in touch with corporate and they were very apologetic on her behalf and I did accept the apology and I will return to that McDonalds (because it's the closest to my house) but I hope to never have to run across Alisha ever again! read more

The McDonald's in Carthage is top notch! I usually do drive thru and every time I am greeted with a smile and friendliness. My order is always correct and if I have ever had to wait for I guess what they consider too long they usually compensate with an Apple pie. It's very nice to have service with a smile and that is the main reason I continue to frequent this location! read more

I stood in line for 5+ minutes with employees walking around, looking at me standing there and then going off and doing other things besides attempting to take my order. I ended up going back to my seat. I did, however, enjoy the fast food drama unfolding back there...something about missing fries that she swore she put in the happy meal but that the other guy took back out of the box...
