Went here on Sunday September 22nd 2024 with my dad. We were driving around, and was hungry, so we decided to stop here. My dad used the restroom, in which he said was clean. While he used the restroom, i used the machine to order. I wanted to look at the menu to decide what i wanted. decided on a mcchicken sandwich and ordered 2 of them. I also ordered a medium chocolate shake. We also got a cheeseburger, and an mocha iced coffee and an iced tea. We paid at the cashier since my dad only had cash on him. Cashier seemed a little off, and i think my dad asked something and she seemed unsure. But anyways, paid for our food, waited for our order, and ate in the car. This location has to be the worst managed location in South Carolina. This is the second time I've been to this location in 2 months where multiple items were missing from my order. There responds was to come back, waiting another 20-30 mins in line so they can replace only the one item. The staff is always unfriendly and rude when I've visited. Too slow! I was in the drive thur for over 30 minutes at 2:18 pm. There's nothing fast about this place.

First impressions--not very clean. This played out for the entire experience. Fillet o Fish was slopped together without even being centered on bun and a big blob of tarter sauce hanging off the bun making it messy. My salad was fine with grilled chicken. I selected that over fried. The Southwest Salad or a side salad were the only two salad options. Very limited healthy options--no surprise there. The Southwest is tasty with mixed greens some corn and crispy (fried) tortilla strips for crunch. Low fat Italian dressing is a good choice. Of the two drink machine only one worked, and one did not have ice. The four tea decanters all had serve until 2:30pm stickers--we were there 5 hours later--7:30pm. While most McDonalds aren't impressive, so I don't go in with high expectations, this one didn't even meet the basics of cleanliness and food consistency you get at most McDonalds. I ordered 2 meals both consisting of quarter pounders. When I opened the meals both burgers were far from fresh. Cheese was not melted and burgers were not juicy, it was like they were cooked long before and maybe warmed by microwave. I was under the impression that this burger was McDonald's pride and joy for being "SO FRESH"Nothing at this location could be further from the truth! Such a huge disappointment when you are hungry and have been bombarded with Commercials that make you drool. Also I would like to add that for the price of the meal I could have added just a couple dollars more and gone to a higher class restaurant for a much tastier meal. I love supporting small local restaurants and businesses. I don't know why I just think the taste of a good local burger tastes better than a franchise. It's more personable and all in all just more friendly service. That's why I love McDonald's. They have great burgers and wonderful service. The man who owns the place, Mr. Clarke passed away back in February. He worked his whole life to achieve his dream: Starting up a small family burger restaurant. That's what I love about McDonald's. It's a special thing that only my town has. People come from all around to get one of Clarke's burgers. Gee whiz are they good. Too bad the place burned down back in February when Clarke passed out drunk with a cigar in his mouth. read more

Absolutely one of the best McDonalds I've been to. Clean and fresh, hot food. Seems to always be busy but the lines move fast.

Mark is the worst unmannered and unprofessional manager I've ever met. I ordered a well done number 8 XL. When I went to the drive thru to return the order and ask for a refund he came to the window and asked what's up? Just plain rude. Then he sent my refund out by a child that handed me a medium number 8 refund and receipt but I paid for an XL. read more

This is the worst service I have ever received at a McDonalds, they were out of lettuce and they still served my chicken sandwich without letting me know they were out if lettuce. Very poor customer services. Went through the drive through one night after 11pm. The lady asked me to pull forward. I told her I was all set. They are suppose to lock their doors at 11pm so how was she going to bring me my meal. She insisted that I pull forward. I again refused. I had in the past pulled forward as they asked and after about 10 minutes I had to go into the restaurant to get my order. They had forgotten me. I told her that's why I won't pull forward.
