McDonald's seems to have forgotten what makes "fast food" appetizing. They've given up on the "fast" part completely. I've eaten at this specific McDonald's twice now. Both times, I was told to pull forward and waited over 10 minutes for my order. Understandable if I was ordering something special, but I'm not. It's a simple McChicken meal. Drink, fries, 4 nuggets and a McChicken sandwich. Not wild stuff! But they can't make it quick. Won't be stopping here again. Edit: when I finally received my food, it was horrible. The fries were old and soggy. The chicken nuggets tasted almost stale and the mcchicken wasn't anywhere near hot. I could almost understand the wait if it was fresh, but it's just laziness. I'm sure their numbers look great for the drive-thru wait times, but they're just making everyone wait so they can push the line along and make it seem like they're being quick. The 5 star McDonald's rating is because of the service (since all McDonald's food is pretty much consistent and standard -good for fast food but not being judged against other restaurants. At this McDonald's, the cashier went out of his way to make sure our iced coffee order met our non-standard request. Customer care does make a difference -thank you. read more

Average McDonalds. we did get premium parking and that is always a plus. Food was sub par. dry sauce-less burger. fries were typical. My cousin says the strips were good. bathroom was moist on the floors to say the least, and had a fresh skid mark recently left. disappointed in their lack of skid mark servicing. As i write this review, my dad is questioning the low quality of my review, but i am doing my duty as a citizen of America. near the end of my visit i saw a man with a pair of shorts with the mcdonald's logo. disappointed to find it was just the word iowa state in yellow letters. overall very nice. read more

horrible experience. Me, my dad, and my little brother went here and they got every order wrong. I only got 8 nuggets rather than 10 and a small fry instead of a medium. they gave my brother a mint flavor when he got Oreo, and completely forgot my dad's coffee. It's McDs. Got exactly what I expected. I was so hyped when I asked if they had Shamrock Shakes still (on 4/14) and they do!!! Except the shake machine is broke. SHOCKER! I order mccrispy deluxe sandwich. they put tomatoe cores on my sandwich. cores. I don't eat those. when I use tomato that gets trimmed away. not at McDonald's. paper thin and tiny. I got home and saw that. drove back. girl said I can replace tomatoe. I said I want a fresh sandwich. this is cold. the new sandwich was better but not by much. reconsider if I will return. make something at home. read more

Lately when I have been into the Crittenden location there has not been a good atmosphere. The one lady that wants to make it known that she is the GM is always complaining. The morning manager that is there and has been for a long time is the best manager in that location. She has always been extremely nice and always takes care of her customers but as soon as you don't see her in the morning on the front counter area and another manager is in charge in that area it seems like nobody knows what they are doing. I feel like whatever change has been made lately in this location has been a terrible one and things need to go back to the way they were. read more

I've been in this McDonald's two times maybe three. There have been issues every time. The first stop I made they were out of the breakfast burritos. The second time I went was today I got a double quarter pound of cheese. Easily worst McDonald I've ever been in. Bathroom was disgusting and toilets were overflowing. Completely forgot about drink order waiting 10 minutes before complaining and finally 5 minutes later got our drinks. It's an excellent place to stop and pee on road stop emergencies. Can't speak for the food or service, though.

No stars!!!!!!!!! Stopped on our way home to PA from TN. We were here for half an hour to stop in for take out! This was to be a quick stop use the bathroom grab breakfast and hit the highway. My husband was out in the car done eating g his food before I got his coffee. I never got my drink bc they couldn't make a simple ICED coffee. They refunded my missing drink only. No compensation for time waisted waiting for drinks that never came! Bar my sandwich is cold now too! read more

Stopped at 6pm on a Monday evening. Two employees were standing by the door smoking. We overheard them complaining about another employee calling in sick. My husband and I were disappointed in the cleanliness of the building. We hit the restrooms and in the men and women's found TP and paper towels are on the floor and countertop. Garbage beginning to overflow, and floors dirty, yet slippery from too much cleaning solution from previous moppings. We went to the counter to order. Employees were upbeat, but unprofessional in curbing private conversations. Our order was taken by a very nice lady. While waiting one has time to take in how dirty the floors and some of the tables looked. I guess it rubs a patron a little wrong when you see a group of employees behind the counter joking around instead of cleaning and making a better first impression. Drive thru is slow, food is sometimes undercooked or wrong, a lot of times the workers don't seem happy to be there but are mostly friendly to customers. The restaurant itself isn't kept the cleanest but not the worst McDonald's I've seen. read more

The morning staff at this McDonald's are the friendliest in the state! I drive an additional 15 miles just to get my morning coffee at this location. The staff are always exceedingly friendly and hospitable and the drive-through is always fast. read more

I decided to try this McDonalds again, since it's the closest to our house we eat McDonalds a lot.. sometimes daily... I have actively been going 7 extra miles to the Walton one because there is always something wrong or missing here on top of being incredibly slow... They shouldn't even ask you what sauce you'd like for chicken nuggets because they aren't going to give it to you, straws are the same way... i think secretly they hoard them and are building a fort of straws and sauces in the basement it's the only reasonable explanation... also you may as well never order a burger special because they will give you what toppings they want to that day, sometimes missing burger patties which you wouldn't think is possible but some how they do it. I swear though today being talked to like an idiot by the manager I will not come back, I ordered a happy meal with an upsized drink and a large drink and large fry. I got a large fry a 6 piece nugger, I tried to explain to the manager.. I didnt get my kids gogurt or fries and gave her the receipt, she handed me a gogurt and acted like she gave it to me, like I was trying to pull some elaborate scheme over a 50 cent tube of strawberry goop...and told me you have a large fry. I'd like to say I'm fairly patient and understanding, but it gets old. I quit trying to explain and just drove off it wasn't worth my time to go in circles... I'm not kidding when I say if you go there 10 times, they may get 1 order right, the McDonalds Russian roulette of correctness. Was in disbelief at our experience just now at this drive thru. It was 10:58 and they told us we couldn't place our order because they weren't serving lunch yet. They start serving lunch at 11. We live in Crittnden and visit the McDonalds ocassionally. However it seems like everytime we get something to take home (1-mile) it is always cold or room temp., the buns are dry, and it looks like they throw on all the insides. Sun. 3-10-13 we got 2-1/3 pound angus burgers (deluxe) an one of them the meat was so dry that it was almost unchewable and the wife give me a bite to try and I thew it over the hill behind the house. Wildly disappointed with me in confidence of the managerial staff. I am allergic to your American cheese and on a daily basis I get a breakfast burrito with no cheese so this does not seem to be a problem for all the other McDonald's in Ohio Kentucky and West Virginia. Tina the only manager and would give me her name could not seem to figure out a Way to make this burrito fresh with no cheese. A call from the owner "Paul" would be great. read more
