We only ordered the soft serve ice cream and it was excellent! The summer berry sundae was absolutely amazing! There were so many options for sundaes and they all sounded fantastic! The large chocolate and vanilla twist cone was huge and it was delicious! The soft serve ice cream is full of flavor and it is definitely one of the best soft serves that I've ever had! I love the Peanut Buster Parfait. I went to this store today and ordered one. First I was shocked by a $6.29 price. OK, I understand inflation yada yada- However- the product was bad. The ice cream was more ice milk than ice cream. I told the staff that this was not DQ ice cream and they just stared at me. I was so irritated that I just ate the peanuts and threw the rest out. I usually finish it and want another. The new owners cheapened the product and increased prices 40%+. Also- they no longer hire locals just family. If was kind of offensive that they are so greedy. While I've been to DQ's many times this was my first visit to this location. It's kind of inconspicuous, hidden in a strip mall. Anyway the store is quite large once inside and was very clean. The staff was up to snuff as well. I as well as most of my family tried the Flamethrower Burger And Fries. It comes with Flamethrower sauce which was kind of a spicy chipolte type of deal. Also on there is pepperjack cheese, jalapeno bacon, lettuce, and tomato. While not on the level of like the delux burger joints this is a very solid burger. The meat itself doesn't have a ton of flavour but the toppings get it done here. The sauce and bacon were good but the pepperjack cheese is the dominant flavour here which I really liked. The fries were mid range; nothing special. A decent dinner although it's really meant for a lunch I think. For dessert I got the Caramel Sundae. Not much to it just vanilla ice cream with a ton of caramel sauce on it. Very simple but very delicious. A kind of boring but still really good meal. read more

I love coming here. My order is always right and the food is good. Nice enough employees , mostly teens. We come about once a week.

The Dairy Queen on US 42 has been a well oiled machine for some time. The staff is kind, usually teens in the evenings. Very friendly adults. The cakes are decorated the best at this store. We went to a different location for a cake once, won't do that again. Warm months = long lines. As long as my dip top has that soft top for the first bite, I'll be happy. If you want to customize your order at all, don't bother coming here because the employees can't handle it and then misunderstand your frustration and anxiety for anger and storm off. Also, if the employees treat you poorly and you send in a complaint the owner does not care at all and will take the word of employees without even asking the customer what happened. I was trying to avoid leaving a bad review because it makes me feel bad, but this place is ridiculous. I even told the owner I had too much anxiety to ever step foot in there again after what happened, and his response was "Ok." read more

Great ice cream, but customer experience leaves a few things to be desired, especially when you grab some to go. I love that DQ wants to give teenagers summer or after-school jobs, but I seriously can't think of a time when I've seen someone over 19 (or who at least looked over 19) working there. Why this isn't ageism: wisdom comes from experience. Wisdom like 'don't slop half-melted ice cream, 3 inches taller than the cup, into the customers hands, without lids, and expect it to not get everywhere. Also, I've had my orders forgotten before, and had to wait over 15 minutes because no one was really keeping track. They're just kids, and haven't gained that kind of extended work to grow their experience customer service wisdom. All in all, it's great ice cream, but service could definitely be stepped up. read more

There is just something about a DQ, especially a Brazier location, or as they call them now, Grill & Chill. It takes me back to good times, after high school and days spent at a friends cabin just outside a small Wisconsin town and the DQ on the town's main drag. Shakes, onion rings and telling the cute girl behind the counter, "I'll take big brasserie" Hey, we were 20 and the legal drinking age was 18, quit judging. Meanwhile, back in Florence, Ky in 2012... This particular DQ is conveniently located next to the laundromat that I frequent to do my laundry and after a long workweek I rewarded myself by doing my laundry at about 7 PM on a Friday night. I decided that I needed some red meat and a shake and walked over to DQ. I got the shake right away while they made my bacon cheeseburger and fries. It was as thick and chocolatey as I remembered and after a short wait the burger and fries arrived. That's right, a short wait, because this is not 'fast food" but food, fast. The burger is not made ahead of time and it is not served on a bun. Nay, it arrives on a roll. You may think that a subtle difference, but it makes a BIG difference in taste. And speaking of taste, the leaf lettuce is not just a green accent. Take a bite and taste the roll, the fresh leaf lettuce, the bacon, cheese and of course the burger. I can't say that I remember appreciating the lettuce 30 some years ago, I guess maturity has some advantages. The fries are also just what they are supposed to be, hot, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I don't know about you, but I am making me hungry. I will certainly be making the opportunity again soon to go back and visit my 20 year old self. Unfortunately there is no longer a Big Brazier on the menu for me to mispronounce, but I will fully enjoy it none the less. Who knows, maybe next time a Peanut Buster Parfait? read more

My daughter and I stopped here after her orthodontist appointment on a weekday in the late afternoon. I was surprised at how many people were there at that time of day. I am not a fan of chicken tenders but have also loved the ones at DQ. Although it had been years since I had them. I ordered the chicken tenders basket with fries, Texas toast and gravy for dipping.
