Says they open at 530am but many mornings I been told they open late and need time to get food ready. Even after 6 I still couldn't get food. You will wait in drive thru for awhile. McDonald's - Nice and clean tonight - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Danville, Illinois

Pulled through drive thru #2 and waited, I got there at 1035am. The guy came over intercom to tell me they are switching to lunch and it will be 5 minutes. We wanted lunch, and 5 minutes isn't terrible. We waited almost 10, and the drive through #1 was taking lunch orders like no one's business. I had 2 cars behind me yelling at me, and I could hear the employees inside from the speaker. . .I finally said hellloooo for the 3rd time and got a "yes, we should be good now" I said we should be good or we are good?? He rudly yes IM READY! I even had to go back in and get a small fry they left out. :( Just rude. No wonder they have a 1 star. read more

The only time I go to McDonald's is when I want a soft serve vanilla cone or mango smoothie, usually 2-3 times a week. The ice cream machine at this location (& north)is broken more times than not! Seriously?? Can Witzel's not afford to put a machine in that works all the time? UGGGH!!! read more

I spent 38 minutes in the drive thru line. After 20 minutes, I got to the ordering kiosk. During the 9 minutes I spent at the kiosk, three cars in the other lane placed their orders. When I finally yelled hello at the speaker, I was allowed to order. I told them I had been waiting and they said they didn't know I was there, even though they had said they would be with me in a minute two times. There was no apology of any sort. No apology at the window, either. The girl who gave us our food was just standing there for a solid 2 minutes before she gave us the bag that had been sitting right next to her. Also, the place is filthy. You can see from the drive thru window that the counters and floors are covered in grime. Do not recommend. read more

I choose to avoid my local McDonald's because this one is always amazing. The customer service is amazing, the food is fresh and hot, and they are very fast in serving through drive thru. They never mess up my order! I will continue coming here! read more

Nastiest McDonalds ive ever been in..ketchup smeared everywhere there was trash on the floor like it hasnt beem swept in a month the bathrooms were disgusting urine stains on toilets garbage cans over flowed.. Absolutely horrible! Don't stop here!! The place was filthy, the men's bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned all day, there were flies in the bathroom, urine all over the floor around the urinal - just really bad. Clearly the management of this place is not concerned about the bathrooms. Ordered a black coffee and an iced tea with lemon. After I paid the young lady just looked at me - so I asked her if she was going to get the coffee which was right behind her, she seemed surprised that I would even ask - as though the coffee would just get in the cup by itself. After she finally gave me the coffee she went to get the iced tea, but she completely ignored my request for the lemon. So I asked her if she could get some lemon - she was completely clueless with zero customer service skills or attributes. She pretended to glance in the refrigerator, but she never found any lemons and then she just walked away - she clearly did not care - it's ridiculous that she was overwhelmed getting two simple beverages. Never did get any lemon so I left with what I had. read more

I would like this McDonald's more if they sanitized the play area better, remembered my sons BBQ sauce in his happy meal, had employees that smiled and ask how they can help me today instead of saying "next person, what you want?" Thought that was weird! The lady working in the children's play area walked up to a girl and told her she can't play on the equipment because she doesn't have socks. She should have just went up to the parent in the first place. The lady didn't tell the parent she could purchase socks at the counter. I felt bad and told her! When kids would run around all over the place the worker would put her hand in their shoulder and say hey quit running in here. These kids have parents...Wish she focused more on cleaning the tables instead of what other children were doing. read more

We travel with our dogs, they are better behaved than most kids to be honest. We were in the grass across from the drive-thru walking our dogs before we went in to eat, when the manager rushed out to where we were and asked "Are you guys walking your dogs??" (I guess our dogs on a leash wasn't a big enough indicator) and we replied politely "yes we are" and continued walking our pups and the manager gave us a weird look and then stood outside and stared at us the whole time we walked our dogs watching us like he was trying to intimidate us to leave. I get that there are slobs that don't pick up after their dogs, but we had poop bags on hand, our dogs never pooped, and we have never just left our messes so we certainly don't appreciate being treated like hoodlums because we let our dogs stretch their legs and go pee. So, we refused to eat at this McDonald's. If you have pets, you might want to bypass this location or else deal with a manager staring you down as your pets pee. read more

Oh how this once great place has rapidly declined. 5 years ago they never made mistakes and were always prompt and courteous, but now it's ran by a pack of misfits who just do not care. Multiple issues with order accuracy. On a few occasions I had issues just getting someone at the drive thru to take my order. Nothing like pulling up to the speaker and waiting for 3 minutes while cars are frustrated behind you because no one is speaking or replying when you speak. This has happened multiple times! And then the biggest gaffe was when I was asked to pull forward and they would bring out my order. 5 minutes later I am sitting and waiting. This place is the pits.I went there once brought my food home when I opened the bag cockroaches flew out.It is not a shame to get cockroaches but what was a shame was when I called and talked to the manager her attitude was a who cares attitude.She informed me they did not have cockroaches bull you did.I told her look you need training and your attitude sucks for a manager that I just called to tell them of the situation and informed her anyone can get cockroaches I don't care how much you spray you bring boxes in cockroaches can be in them.I ask her did I ask you for free food or my money back (no) I just wanted to let them know the situation but because of her attitude I would let facebook know where not to eat.That manager could have cared less if the place burned down the way she acted .More training and compassion goes a long way.I suggest drive a little farther and avoid this place. read more

Went through the drive through last night. My total was 5.60. Gave her 20.60. A twenty dollar bill 2 quarters and 2 nickels. She gave me 14.80 back as change. Stopped in after some shopping to grab a quick bite, and decided to go inside. Food was ok had a #2 and a snack wrap, but lobby was filthy. Floors were dirty and sticky fries and paper all over the floor windows were dirty, 2 lights were out in lobby, jukebox was broken and dirty, we sat in a booth that had dried milkshake in the corner with petrified fries. Trash was full and had pop spilt down the side of it onto the floor that had been their long enough it was sticky. Sat inside about 30 min wasn't busy and never seen one employee come out to address the lobby. As someone who works with food myself I look for things normal customers wouldn't and its a major turn off when you can see how dirty a place is. If they can't be bothered to clean what the public can see just imagine what they do in places you can't. read more

The service at the South Gilbert St in Danville,Il SUCKS. I was there 2 nights in a row at the drive up. The first night I was there I got shorted fries from my number 7 meal. While I was at the drive there was several kids hanging out at the front counter and the employees was giving cups to them for fountain drinks, free of charge. The second night I was there, I was at the drive up waiting to give my order no else in line and then 3 cars pull up on the out side drive up give there orders and I am still waiting. So finally they take my order and I pull to the first window and ask the guy what was going on with the drive through. He proceeds to tell me the girl doesn't know what she is doing that was taking my order and that they were short people. So I pay and go to the second window she tries to short me drinks and I should have a sweet tea, she's says that I didn't pay for it. They had the orders all mess up. In the mean time I am looking through the drive up there was some boys hanging out at the front counter and the girls and manager lady was throwing paper towels back in forth across the counter looking at me bitching cause my orders messed up for second night in a row. But they are short staffed. Somebody needs to get there employees straight so can get peoples orders right. I will be calling the General Manager or the store owners. It's bull crap, customer service is suppose to be number one priority not kids playing at the front counter. read more

I couldn't find a comment page for McDonalds in Georgetwon so I will put my comments here in hopes I can save some other sucker fromm shopping at McDonalds. My order at McDonalds in Georgetown, IL included a order of hot cakes. I said the order included the hotcakes. My sack did not. When I called the store the person said, and I quote, "if you would want to drive back to the store we will gladly give you the hotcakes or I can put you in the book and the next time you are here we will give them to you". "Put me in the book" sounds like they have this problem ofter enough that they have a log. Oh, I forgot to mention, I had told the person that I had returned home to Westville before I realized that once again McDonalds had failed a customer. There is a Burger King as close as the McDonalds in Georgetown so guess where we are shopping from now on. Please no coupon for a free anything at McDonalds.
